When they reach upstairs, they saw Mr. Vinod Malik, arnav's father and Riyansh sitting in the living room.

"Where's Khushi?" arnav asked

"She went to sleep" Riyansh replied

Arnav (thoughts): Why didn't she wait for me? Is she ignoring me?

Vinod: arnav, aren't you going to introduce us to your friend?

Arnav: dad, did she dine?

Vinod: um arnav, she is your friend so how would we know?

Arnav: I'm talking about Khushi dad.

Vinod: Well she wanted to take some rest first and besides that she was already looking tired and pale from the long journey. She will eat once she wake up so don't worry. Don't make a girl wait for too long, especially a beautiful lady.

Arnav: okay, I'll go to her right now.

Vinod: I'm talking about Priya arnav! Won't you introduce her?

"Oh ya, Priya, this is my dad and that's Riyansh. Dad and Riyansh, this is Priya who took care of me after mom left so she is like another mom for me." he decided to see Khushi and left after the brief introduction.

"Where are you going arnav? Aren't you going to show me my room?" Priya called from behind.

"Huh?" he came out from his chain of thoughts and turned back. "Oh. Actually, I was going to my room. Never mind, come I'll show you my room"

"You need rest arnav. Go to your room" Priya gave a smile and sent him to his room.

Their conversation kept on running in her intelligent mind.

Flashbacks:

"Where are you going beta?" Vinod questioned Khushi

"Uncle, I'm just going outside to get some fresh air, don't worry I'll be back in 5 minutes"

"Ask you fresh air to bring you back in 5 minutes"

"Okay uncle"

When she arrived downstairs, she spots arnav with a girl with her back towards her.

Khushi (thoughts): hmm... She must be Priya.

She moved on towards them to greet Priya but accidently perceive their small conversation.

"I don't mind at all. Just don't do anything with her."

"What?! I promise I won't. Don't worry."

"Don't promise. Anything can happen"

"Is your smirk giving me a warning? Well if still you have doubt then I will sleep on the sofa."

"Are you going to take me inside or will keep me standing here the whole night"

Stream of tears downpour from her cheeks when she heard everything. She hurriedly wiped away her tears and went back inside.

"Oh your back Khushi bhabi, what would you like for dinner?"

"Um... Riyansh, I'm a little tired so I would like to take some rest first"

"Okay. Goodnight and sweet dreams"

Khushi (thoughts): why was he asking for her authorization for allowing me stay in his room? She must be his second girlfriend, for that reason he don't want her to get the wrong end of the stick that's why he must be explaining. No! That's not possible. If he had girlfriend, why would he bring me with him? Stop it Khushi! How can u even think like that about your arnav!!

While she thought of going outside to eat dinner, she perceives sound of someone's footsteps. She pretended to be asleep.

She heard someone entering the room. She knew it was arnav so she kept lying on the bed.

He entered the room and saw her sleeping soundlessly, there was a strand of hair on her face, and he used his hand to remove them back to the position gently. He leaned in and placed a tender kiss on her forehead and pulled a blanket on her. He moved to the sofa and slept silently, caring to wake her up.

She opened her eyes slowly and saw him sleeping on the sofa. She was admiring him and got lost in the chain of her thoughts; what were you thinking about him Khushi? He just proved you wrong! He won't break your heart because he just loves you that much. She went back to her sleep without eating anything,
