That was a great chapter, loved seeing what it would be like if the shoe was on the other foot!!!! Excellent, loving this SS.

Nice ff. lol, poor arnav. The guy had so much power before and now is being treated horribly, like, well, khushi. Cant wait to read the next parts!

Cant wait for castiel and khushi to give arnav a piece of their mind...this was sooo long overdue... Can u bring dean also somehow😉...n what is the dog's name?

Chapter 3- Changes I Don't Like

Having spent the entire evening with his plants, while witnessing his family's weird behavior towards him and everything in particular, Arnav realized that they all weren't acting, it was simply not possible for everyone to play someone else with such conviction.

Mami had been working around the house on Buaji's orders, she was dressed in a simple cotton saree, and least bothered about the work she had to do, as if it was a day-to-day thing for her. She would often smile towards him but then get busy with her work. While Buaji kept hurling insults and taunts at him for standing all day by the plants.

Garima and Shashi seemed to be air-headed with their status and wealth. Khushi and Payal were nowhere to be seen, nor was Akash, he hadn't seen his Di as of yet. He wasn't in any hurry to see her either. He didn't know if he would be able to bear the changed her.

Remembering Castiel's words Arnav wondered whether all that had been true.

'That's what I am here for. You don't know people for who they really are, you don't treat them right and am here to teach you a lesson'

Maybe that's exactly what was happening with him. It was like everyone was living in their own world. Nobody cared for him now, not a single person had come to talk to him, Hell they all treated him like a servant, ordering him around. So was this the lesson Castiel wanted to give him? To be treated how he treated people. Particularly with Khushi, it was like they had swapped places... His stomach rumbled holding his attention, it was around 9 and he hadn't eaten anything since morning. He was hungry.

Having searched the Kitchen and the dining table Arnav realized that dinner hadn't been cooked today. Frustrated and annoyed he rested his head at the dining table.

'Sup Buddy!' greeted a jovial voice, slapping his back in a friendly manner. Arnav looked up to see Shyam getting seated next to him. 'Where have you been I was worried' There was no mistaking the genuine concern Shyam seemed to emanate as he waited for an answer.

'I was at a hotel, needed a break' Arnav replied rubbing his worn-out eyes, feeling exhausted.

'As if Anjali wasn't enough, Khushi adds to your misery' Shyam grimaced.

'You say her name as if you hate her' Arnav questioned.

'Hate her? I loathe her Arnav, you know that. What she did with you, anyone would, am just glad she listens to me, I have protected you guys from her wrath a million times by now…anyways did you have food?' he asked surprising Arnav further.

'No, there isn't any' Arnav answered studying Shyaam trying to make sense out of the situation.

'Meaning? You always cook food for yourself Arnav' Shyam replied sending waves of shock Arnav's way.

'Eh! Really?'

'Yeah buddy' Shyam replied confused. 'What's wrong with you? Something really bad happened or what? You have never disappeared like that before'

'No, Nothing'

'Oh well I will make something for you, wait here then we will talk'

Arnav's eyes widened as Shyam gave him a friendly smile and headed towards the kitchen.

'What crap?' Arnav wondered aloud, he simply couldn't tolerate this. No No NO this wasn't happening, Shyam his Best Buddy in this world. Hell NO! he thought literally banging his head at the table. He didn't realize when he fell asleep after that. Cheerful giggling voices woke him up from his slumber, he looked up to see Khushi and Payal enter the hall with shopping bags held by servants behind them. Khushi stayed while the rest headed off to their rooms. 'Hey NK' said Khushi in a coy voice on the phone.

Arnav felt as if the floor beneath him had been swept away. He had no other option but to stand and eavesdrop as she continued to speak.

'I know darling, but now Arnav is back so he will take care of everything, and we can have some time for ourselves'

She was silent for a long time with a silly smile plastered on her face. 'Looking forward to it, just don't come home yet, others wouldn't take it too well, I need some more time' there was a pause 'Okay sweetheart Good Night'

'Great!' Arnav spoke in deep sarcasm as he stepped towards her 'It's one thing that you treat me like crap but you are two-timing me!? I never thought you would stoop so low Khushi!'

'You have really lost it' Khushi shook her head staring at him in surprise.

'Just get out of my sight before I do something really harsh!' Arnav yelled.

'Nobody talks to me like that!' Khushi snapped.

'Well get used to it then!' he yelled back.

'You are crazy!' Khushi spat with indignation and headed upstairs.

'Arnav' spoke Shyam concerned as he held a tray laden with food in his hand.

Arnav grimaced and went to the dining table, he felt weak, he needed food now.

'What's wrong buddy' Shyaam asked once again concerned.

'Nothing am just hungry' Arnav sighed.

'I have never seen you this angry before, you are rarely angry' Shyam said. 'Infact you have been yelling all day'

Arnav couldn't comprehend how awkward could this conversation get. He was always angry! Not like the Arnav they think him to be, did that mean the Arnav they presumed him to be was his exact opposite! The thought itself was terrifying.

'What were you saying about Khushi adding to my misery earlier?' Arnav asked. Shyaam was the last person he would talk to in his world, but that was the deal this wasn't his world. He was somewhere else that much he had realized and well Shyaam seemed to be a good friend of the Arnav of this world.

'You hate Khushi, she hates you, for obvious reasons'

'I think my head would explode' Said Arnav as he gulped down a glass of water.

Khushi was never like that in his world. He didn't like this Khushi at all.

'You need to take rest buddy' Shyam sighed. 'Get better' he patted his back and left.

Arnav shuddered as he watched him go, this was a madhouse. A complete madhouse!

A/N :Short compared to previous chapter i knw.. But next one will be huge..i promise, with bundles of ArHi treats. I am sure you all think it's time that Arnav gets back at Khushi ;)
