PART 3

Since morning the atmosphere at RM was one of full on suspense...since khushi had left it seemed that all over RM a gloom had dawned..Arnav had promised Anjali that by evening he would return with khushi or not return at all...Anjali had picked up and kept the phone down several times by then...not being able to decide whether the storm had passed as yet or not..

several pairs of eyes were glued to the door, a sight which could put the fevicol add company to shame..

once someone entered the door and they all immediately stood up but it turned out to be HP who wondered since when had he started commanding such respect in the house..

"hamara raasta chodiye"

in reply he crossed his arms across his chests and stood looking straight...

Khushi turned left, an outstretched arm blocked the way..she moved quickly to the right..still late..again blocked..

"arnav ji hamne kaha na hume kuch nahi sunna?"

"ghar chodne se pehle mujhe batana zaruri nahi samjha khushi?"

she shot up at him..caught completely offguard...his tone was..changed..

"aapko ehsaas hua hum ghar pe nahi hain?"

silence..

"hum..hum ja rahe hain.."

"yeah right, ja tho rahi ho...di wait kar rahi hai ghar pe, di, nani,.."

"hum dukaan ja rahe hain"

"khushi tum nahi ja rahi and THAT'S FINAL!"

"kyun na jaayen hum?"

"kyu.."

"haan bataye kis vajah se aapke ghar laute hum.."

"mai.."

"aapko kya fark padta hai hum yahan rahen ya wahan, JIYEN YA MAREN!"

"KHUSHI!" the last part of the sentence made him lose it and the next moment khushi felt hands literally jerking the life out of her as he shook her shoulders violently..

tears brimmed up in her eyes..

"JUST SHUT UP! YOU HEARD THAT?JUST SHUT UP!!"

"aaj nahi shutup.. aaj aap shutup!"

what the...went mentally in his mind..

"ek wajah bataye ke hum ghar laute.."

"ghar pe sab intezaar kar rahe hain khushi...di, paayal, nani, laxmi"...damn damn damn..went in his heart..this was harder than the hardest deal he had won..why couldn't he just say the damn thing and finish with it??

"hum laxmiji ki patni hain?"

he glared at her..

"toh hum kyun lauten?"

he gulped...okay..relax..this was not difficult..he was Arnav Singh Raizada...he could do anything...yeah..let's try the business deal technique..

"kyunki baat 6 mahine ki hui thi".. oh shit! This was not what he was supposed to say..shit..

khushi made an incredulous expression..this was his reason?

"aapne di ki shaadi bachane ke liye humse shaadi ki na?"

he nodded..this, was going beyond repair...

"shyamji jail me hain na?"

silence..

"sabko sach pata hai na?"

oh hell..

"toh hum baaki ke 3 mahine kiski shaadi bachaenge arnavji?"

apni! He wanted to yell..he had never felt this stupid in his entire lifetime..WHAT was he supposed to say now?

"bataye?"

"aap chup kyun ho gaye?"

"humesha ki tarah koi jawab nahi hai na apke paas?"

"humesha ki tarah aap bas apni bat keh ke chale jayenge!"

"hum aap.."

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU DAMMIT!YOU HEARD THAT? YOU ARE IMPOSSIBLE KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA SINGH RAIZADA!!" he shouted...and he jerked away...

it was said..finally...he had said it..and since when had the main road become so silent?

silence...he was trying to get his breathing back to normal and she...

congratulations Mr Arnav Singh Raizada you finally did it..

we are all so so happy for you

we all wanted this since sooo long...

now can you please help mrs Raizada off the ground over which she has swooned?ya..right there..
