Part 4

"So, Rajpudri Kushiji is here to recue her Pati"

Shayam Jha words echoed in that old creep house oddly. Everybody heads turns to his direction. And the realization hit him or her that they are later than they supposed to be.

Shayam was standing there with a gun. The side of Arnav head on Kushi lap made turn on Shayam anger.

Shayam: Kushiji, I doubt you why you did not call me last two hours but I too did not think like this wow Kushiji wow

Shayam forgets in anger what he told to Arnav about Kushi. Arnav confuses why Shayam talking to Kushi like this did not they along with each other as he thinks. Kushi gets up from bet and moves to the corner of room if anything happen she don't want them get hurt. She wants to give some place to flee away.

Kushi looks around for help knows nobody could not. Arnav thinks an idea & winked at Aman act like he fainted again. But Kushi or Shayam did not notice this think that he really fainted. Arnav wanted to know that his wife is innocent beyond the doubt. His past has leaved a great scratch on him to believe Kushi.

Kushi sees Arnav faint but she could not go near him & thought herself "then he will kill all of us."

Kushi: Jijaji your game is over you could not do any harm anymore

Shayam: smile evilly you think Kushiji I will finish you all here then haan your Arnavji has fainted again.

Shayam: Where is the papers Kushi,

Kushi in difficult situation now she cannot demand to tell the truth to Arnav & suddenly she feels trust should built up itself not by proofing & showing evidence.

Her gaze agitated to here & there. She saw a lighter, must be use by goons carelessly put on the table. She grape it & burns the will documents near the Arnav Signature.

Kushi: now have these documents, & I do not want anything from you, you are good for nothing, I told you to leave Di, because Di deserves someone else better than you, Arnavji, or me. You are not worthy for her, it not her limp leg burden on her life. It is you burden on her life. I told you to leave her but seem you do not understand, if you do not then I would make it.

Shayam looks the still burn paper. His face visibly shows the rage.

Shayam: Kushi you should have thinks before you made a mistake but now nobody can stop me killing Arnav

Kushi eyes widen in shock.

Somebody patted his shoulder. Shayam turns & sees Arnav standing with his full man force.

Arnav: oh really

Arnav hit him on the nose it begins to bleed. He give a twist to

shayam arm with that gun went to corner of the room. Arnav continually punch shayam until Aman & Mohan ripped away from him. Arnav kicked him on the knee. Shayam look like fainted limp body behind Arnav back.

Arnav: Because of Di, you are alive today.

Now Kushi clings to the wall of Arnav right side to her side the pooja bag lays with gun, Arnav hold on the head side of bet for support & breathing heavily. To his left side Neha stood like perplex. Kushi is too afraid to move. Arnav looks, his chest heave up & down in heavy breath, at his innocent Kushi longingly. All the time she was not at even edge of foul. That thought soothing all his pains from him at the same time giving ice-cold affect to his heart.

Aman & Mohan leave to find the car & get ready for the escape. Arnav leans into bet headrest his forehead on his back of hand & close his eyes tightly. The uncomfortable silent is surrounding them. They all could here their heartbeat like thundering, Kushi stars at Arnav.

Shayam moves quietly to the gun & grapes it. Neha sees it. But she could not bring notice to anyone she is too shocked to move. Kushi notice Neha"s gaze & saw that shayam holding his gun at Arnav back. He did not see Kushi. Arnav badly injured him. Kushi slowly reach for her Pooja bag & gets the gun out of the bag.

When Shayam raises his gunpoint at Arnav back Kushi shot him. She aimed in to his chest but it hid his left shoulder. The gun, Kushi holds has silencer so Arnav did not notice the tiny "top" sound. Frighten Kushi looks at gun her hands hold then Shayam. Her hands shaking madly & on the safety switch. With evil grin, Shayam tries to shoot Arnav. Kushi tries again nothing come out but just clicking sounds.

She looks at Shayam he still shakily holds on the gun at Arnav back. Without thinking, she runs as fast as she can to Arnav grape him through him with herself from Shayam gunpoint.

Aman & Mohan came back; see Shayam with gun & Arnav Kushi on the bet. Aman runs to him grape the gun from him gives a good slap on his back of neck and binding his arm on his back.

Arnav was mesmerized. Her upper half of body falls on his chest; she holds his shirt so tightly, his hand running around her shoulder and waist. It was feeling so good & comfortable to him having Kushi top of him after all long separation. He wishes he never doubt her. He cups her face tenderly & looks in to her eyes

Arnav: Kushi I am sorry, I wish I never doubt you,

She smiles painfully at him, looking longingly. She tries to not to show her pain but failed gracelessly.

Kushi: it is too late Arnavji but I could not hold my anger on you ever

Arnav narrow his eyebrows together. He feels hot in the hand on her back.

Kushi: Arnavji I wish our marriage did not happen in this way. It happen as I wish, as I dream but always I Lo

Arnav brought his hand to his eye level sees all red blood cover.

Arnav: Ku k Kushiii he screamed.

The bullet has done its last damage.

Kushi walks through the golden wheat filed. She little bends down & touch the golden wheat walk through it. Everywhere she sees was golden, golden farm filed, Golden sunrays, A big Golden sun which give cool rays like moon. She round herself to looks around, now, Kushi was standing in to the green meadowland; there is an unshaped crystal clear pond. Into that pond, fishes are jumping across the water. She saw there are some trees, which reflect the golden rays more & radiate, on the trees, there are some birds signing beautifully & harmoniously, they fly away above her head, even she was wearing golden radiance choli, and she looks more charming than ever. She smiles & jumps like a deer but deeply missing something. She search for it but low her face in defeat.

Her eyes sought for him again & again. She called him, she looked back where she from came it was all sky blue.

Kushi: Arnavji, Arnavji

Arnav: Kushi, he calls her with urgency in his voice

Arnav: Kushi, please come back to me please She heart his voice softly, painfully, longingly pleads with her

Kushi: Arnavji where are you?

Then she looks ahead. She saw a very enlighten circle, she wanted to go there forever, she wanted this feeling forever but not alone she knows she cannot go alone herself. She walks to the circular while calling Arnav. Then she saw her Amma & Papuji was there as young as she sees them last time. They smiled at her but they were too far to reach. Even they were between her & radiate golden circular they were too far to reach. She grins & waves her hands at them. She dose not know how but she can hear them clearly.

Kushi: Amma Papuji you two are here,

Arnav: Kushi, I am rally sorry Kushi do not leave me please Kushi she heart his voice pleading again but could not see him.

Kushi: Amma woh Arnavji hai na, don't know where is he but calling me, leave it how are you, how did you come here,

Amma: Kushi bte what are you doing here,

Kushi: why amma should not I come here,

Amma: No dear, it is not like that, if you wish you can come but you should wish heart fully otherwise you lost both place.

Kushi: No amma I wanted to come with you, I wanted to be star with you

Arnav: Kushi do not even dare to think about it, if you become as star then I too do you understand I will follows you there, don't leave me please come back.

His soreness voice echoed around her with tenderly. She knows that voice he will do whatever said in that voice.

She looked up at her Amma & Papuji pathetically; they smiled at her waving their hands & said

"You go back to him come again when fate decide, not yourself"

Slowly the circular of golden sun begins to fading away with that she has no choice other than walk back.

Kushi: Amma please do not leave me there is nothing left for me, no one is there I wanted to come with you

Arnav: please Kushi come back to me, I am here for you only for you I would not let you regret this time, give me one more chance I would not ask you again. I am here for you, please do not punish me in this way, you would not regret for giving me the chance I promise I will never doubt you, distrust you please come back to me.

Kushi: Amma, I really wanted to come with you he never trust me

She sees again the rays of golden sun

Arnav: Kushi I love you please come back to me without you I am nothing he hold her face kiss on her forget.

Kushi: where are you Arnavji I could not see you, Arnav place his hand on her shoulder from behind

He was not radiate like her, his face look like he is not sleeping for ages, he looks tore, his tears glaze eyes held unfathomable pain, sorrow guilty. He kissed on her forehead, her eyes, her cheeks, then her lips, filling with warmth, desire, wanting kiss. Kushi never wanted to break. She wanted to hold him but she could not. He broke the kiss rest his forget on hers. In the background of fading golden rays, they stand like angels in heaven. He holds her cheeks. His eyes look at her softly pleadingly then he whisper

Arnav: Please come back to me

Arnav removes his hands from her step back from her, his eyes order silently to her to follow him.

Kushi: Arnavji, stop where are you going she stomped her feet like a child she sees Arnav sees her in to the eye and slowly step back fade in to darkness.

Kushi turns to golden circular & parent she shakes her head

Kushi: Amma I cannot come now how dare he leave me again like this I am going to slap him

She saw that they smile at her and raise their hands in blessing manner. She accepts the blessing & namaskar them. Then lift her choli skirt runs to the spot where Arnav fades.

In Hospital ICU

Arnav backed away from her knowing if she did not back for this then there is no way. His entire body was stiffen he holds his breath. Kushi narrows her eyebrow, her fingers tremble slightly. Arnav finger turns in to fest as he resists himself from going near to her. Kushi right hand slowly rises in to air search for him. He told himself "no, not now not until she opens the eyes" eagerly gaze at her to open her eyes.

Kushi: Arnavji where are you here all are dark I am scared where are you her voice edged the cry.

Arnav: open your eye Kushi his voice order to her powerfully that she has never refuse.

Arnav: If you only open, you will see me, or you would lose me forever.

Kushi's eyes shot open sought for him and see he was stands few feet away from her bet.

Arnav collapses in to knees let out relieve of cry laughter. Tears all this time hide into his eyes rolls down on free account.

Kushi: A A Ar Arnavji

Arnav get up reach her in swipe moment held her hand kissing her palm, touch her cheek & stroke her face with thumb.

Kushi: Arnavji what happen, did you get hurt, please don't cry is di okay she wipes his tear & soothing his restless face.

Arnav: shhh Kushi get well soon we could talk about it later he leans down kissing her forehead. Kushi slowly close the eye drift in to sleep. Arnav heart jumped to throat. He chocked on his words

Arnav: Ku K Kushi damn don….

He looks up at doctors' alarm. The old doctor puts his hand on his shoulder smiling reassuringly

Old doctor: she is all right son just sleeping; your love for her get back her to you. She will wake up after eight hour. You go & take some rest come back again. He loosen up little bit but nods in negative.

Old doctor: common son is it how you going to welcoming your wife after almost three days with blood strain shirt.

Anjaliji puts a hand on his shoulder

Anjaliji: Chotte you go and change I promise I will look after her

Arnav looks at Di helplessly and nods.

He came outside of ICU sees Aman & Mohan wait for him. he gives them signal to follow him.

In the SUV

Mohan took the driving seat. Arnav & Aman on the back seat

Aman: Mohan & I take shayam to the lacknow hospital so nobody sees him or doubt him, I know we have to hide this until Anjaliji Di baby born. There is no police involvement in this case but in hospital, they doubt little. But I talk to doctor that somebody kidnap you & we don't know them. If we go to police now Anjaliji health may be getting bad like that staff but mostly because of you doctor accept it.

Arnav just nods. The flash back of three days ago just haunting him as good employee Aman keeps quit.

Arnav took her in swipe moment in to his lap holding her near the chest pats her cheek like a mad man.

Arnav: Neha come here Kushi is hurt do something Neha's eyes widen in shock. She runs to kushi begin to do first aid. The bullet hid her back of shoulder below 7 inches in corner way. Arnav feel a hollow in his heart. Blood freeze in his heart. Tears roll down itself.

Neha took her charge to gives first aid while he holds her. Kushi looks at him she knows only a lover could bear all the pain visible on his face. She holds his face with one hand stroke softly & smiles painfully.

Her words on Heer & Rajan echoed in his mind unmercifully, "Your very pleasure day I am going to dead."

Kushi: Arnavji, I think it time to go, she tries hard to be open eye but losing blood try to shut it.

Arnav: no Kushi not now when I need you please don't even dare to leave me.

Kushi: Arnavji I never want to ruin Di's life trust me

Kushi tries to smiles & slowly closes her eyes. Arnav lift her up in to his arm. The memories floating him how many time he lift her up. If he knew, it would end up something like this he would not ever leave her at airport. It is ironic when he comes back to life to live with her she turn her back, losing her all hope.

Aman told to Mohan get them to hospital & come back as soon as he can so they could took Shayam. But Arnav did not seem to bother by this all he could see was His Kushi divine face.

They take her to the hospital, which sited near. Then to the city main hospital in the Ambulance & Mohan return to Aman. After, takes Shayam to loacknow hospital Aman inform Raizada family that Aranv has been kidnap; unknown had shot Kushi. And inform them about Arnav status.

Arnav all the time in Ambulance he chanted, "I am sorry, please come back to me" they do ten hours operation.

If anybody ask Arnav what happen in that 10 hours he would not say anything because he just standing near the round class watching her face as much as he could. He moves only when nurse come out & go in. he stands there looks at his wife with tenderly, softly longingly. All the time he prays to God

"Please let me have her, even if I don't deserve her"

The red light turn off doctors come out with pouted lip.

Old doctor: who is her relative? The nurse shows Arnav. Come with me.

Doctor makes him sit on the chair tell to him shakes his head.

" she dose not react at all, we took out the bullet before it touch the heard but she did not battle against the dead, if you can makes her eyes open for once then we could make but it should have happen in next 24 hours or I am sorry son I do my best now your turn."

The word reverberate in his mind

"she did not battle against the dead"

he think himself

"Kushi Kumary Gupta Singh Raizada has give up"

he do not know what to do laugh or cry. He do this to her that thought give him a sharp pain in his chest.

All he could do was gives a nod.

Arnav holds Kushi's hand softly place a kiss on her palm. He does not know how he gets bath dressing or anything. He feels again, when he only touch her. He takes her right hand between his palms & kisses her fingers. He sat there just staring at his wife. He saw her flinch her brows then open her eyes but he just do not even cringe he just sat there staring at her.

Kushi tries to move her left hand to him but resist in pain. He immediately sat on the bet bent down to her

Arnav: Kushi do you need something.

Kushi left her hand to his face stroke it from his forehead to jaw line chin. He grinds his teeth not to break down but

Kushi: Arnavji are you all right

Arnav break at this point take her head in to his hands fills her face with kisses all over her face. He ended in her forehead. Kushi feels perfect & peace after very long days.

He draw his chair near the bet sat & puts his head on her stomach holds her around her waist. He takes care to not to hurt her injury. When kushi feel hot tear in her stomach

Kushi: shhh Arnavji I am fine okay just sleep.

Kushi strokes his hair, face, brows, and cheek jaw line in soothing way. Arnav falls asleep without refute after days and so Kushi.

Nurse comes inside of ICU for one hours checking. She about to wake up Arnav then notice the heart beat monitor & presser it was miracle she think it just show normal reading. Even before one hour it was at the bad. She let that heavenly lovers sleep.

In sleep Arnav, hand find Kushi right hand & hold it tightly Kushi face slide in to dreamy smile as he hold tightly. Aranv face looks peacefully in sleep tears slip down even in sleep.
