I started reading this today ...And I couldn't STOP..I just couldn't.
This is beyond brilliant.
First of all, I love your concept. It is so unique. Arnav as a gangster. Who could have thought of that?
The characters:
Each character is so well etched out. And fits amazingly in the story. They all have a tale to tell.
Arnav, A perfect example of a grey character, where you are justifying the dark side. The reason behind. A really complex person, you've created there.
I love how you've made Aman such a vital part of the story. ( I'll comment on my predictions later).
Khushi,Akash, Lavanya, Abbas, Khalid, and of course Khushi, all are amazingly written.
I love how you give us insights from both parties about a particular scene. makes the reading very fabulous. Your portrayal of emotions is just perfect, the right blend of vocabulary . Writing style amazing, not too complex, not very simple.
Another thing that stood out in this was, how each character vanished for a few days, but came back with a bang. They kept sliding in and out, but we didn't feel disconnected as the reason was justified.
Amazing, how you built up relationships. Everyone is so woven into the other person's life.
It was a thrilling rollercoaster ride so far.
I simply loved how you first showed us glimpses of Arnav's past as his dreams, and then we got the final revelation. 👏 So it wasn't too abrupt. And the past is so well justified, that I could actually feel for Arnav. Leaves you perplexed, because the situation is so complex. It's true, everything is not in a person's hand. Situations and life force people to become the way they are.
Khushi's emotions : I loved the way you've shown her feelings so far. Arnav was a mystery, yet she found herself drawn to him. I loved, how she always gave away to her feelings, but then held back. Her mind asking her questions. I love the way her personality is built up in this. She can stand up for herself, if the need arises. ( The first punch to the guy at the party)
Arnav Khushi relationship.
I simply love the way you've woven their story. Their emotions expressed through your words stir you. I loved how you showed, the battle of Heart V/S mind for both of them, until they decided to give their hearts a chance.
Those blissful days in b/w...the bike rides, the amusement parks. I've never been happier reading something like that. 😳 I love how Arnav is rough, yet gentle. Khushi is weak, yet firm.
Another thing, it was good you didn't fizzle out their sensuous moments in the first trial itself. You built up the tension well, till the Red Sari Day! And then we got the revelation. ( About Arnav's past). I'm glad he hasn't slept with Khushi so far. At least not till she knows the truth.
I love the Khushi-lavanya bond. Yes, best friends are best friends. but a status divide, can never ever be truly erased, because your thought process doesn't match.
Coming to the story:
It is a perfect blend of thriller, adventure, suspense, romance, passion, pain! 👏
Controversial characters:
1) Abbas/ The guy who spoke on the phone, addressed as Malik.
I guess it's the same one..isn't it? He was the one , who kept telling Arnav to get rid of Khushi. So he must have planned to make someone call Buaji and blurt the truth to her.
2)Shyam
He hasn't come forward in the story for a long time. Is he the one who is threatening Aman?
Sounds plausible, coz I suppose Shyam in this has to be disgusting as ever. SO he's probably behind Guddiya 😡
3) Akash
So far he's good. But love and jealousy can tear a man apart. He has been building up his feelings for Khushi. To see Arnav have her, might just infuriate him, and get the beast out of an angelic doctor. 😭
4) Aman.
I suppose he is good, and will remain so. Whatever he'll do will be under pressure.
5) Arnav's past.
If I remember, Arnav was also targeted that night , as a kid. SO probably some people behind his life as well. So we have two people now, who are behind his life.
i) Those who are pressurising Aman
ii) The ones who killed his mom, and intended to kill him as well.
Or what if they're the same.
Maybe we'll get to see his dad in the future. What if it's Abbas only? Just feel so.
That's all I'll write now. 😳 I must have bored you with my long comment. But had to express. My thoughts were really cluttered. but had to get it all out of my system
