MADE FOR EACH OTHER
Khushi and Arnav reached Shanthivan after their fight on the road. They were happily welcomed by Anjali and she asked Khushi about the stay at the Guptas. Khushi narrated each and every thing that happened to Anjali, who listened like a child. Arnav was burning with angry seeing this and he left for his room. Anjali felt something fishy. She was sure that there was something going on between her brother and sister in law. She decided to keep a close eye on both of them.
That night wasn't easy for both Anav and Khushi. Arnav tried to get some answers from Khushi. But silence was Khushi's answer. Arnav grabbed her by the shoulder and demanded for answers. But she remained quiet. He yelled at her. But everything went vain. After changing she took her blankets and went to the pool side. He didn't bother to stop her. "she deserved it . right?"
The next day when he woke up, he couldn't find her anywhere. But he didn't mind. He got freshen up and headed for the breakfast. At the dining table, both of them tried to ignore each other's presence. This didn't go unnoticed by Anjali. She thought it might be some normal husband wife fight and ignored it, thinking that they will make it up. But they didn't. When this continued for a couple of days, Anjali decide to confront Khushi .
Anjali: Khushi ji, is everything alright?
Khushi: Yes Di, everything is fine.
Anjali: I am asking about you and chotte?
Khushi: (sad) Yes, everything is fine between us.
Anjali: did you guys had a fight again?
Khushi: no Di
Anjali: Khushi ji, please tell me what is the problem so that I can sort it out.
Khushi decided to tell Anjali what happened. But not the whole thing.
Khushi: Di, do you remember my fianc who cheated on me?
Anjali: yeah??? Anjali was a little confused.
Khushi: Arnav ji thinks I still have an affair with him.
Anjali: what??????????
Khushi: please Di, don't ask anything else. Said Khushi and ran away from there with tears in her eyes .
Anjali was shocked hearing this."how could Chotte think about Khushi ji like that? I should talk to him as soon as possible." So Anjali tried calling him. But he couldn't attend the call as he was busy with some meeting. Arnav returned very late that night. He was surprised to see his sister waiting for him.
Arnav: di, you are still awake? It is not good for your health.
Anjali: why are you late Chotte? I have something very important to talk to you.
Arnav: At this Hour ? we can talk tomorrow Di? And he started to climb the stairs.
Anjali: (angry) I said I have to talk to you ARNAV
Arnav was startled by this tone of his sister. He had never seen her angry for ages. It was always him, "the angry young man".and calling him Arnav????? He decided to listen to whatever his sister has to say as he felt that it was really something important.
Arnav: What is it, Di?
Anjali: how could you think Khushi ji like that, chotte?
Arnav: like what di?
Anjali: khushi ji said everything to me. How could you even think that Khushi ji and Shyamji has an affair?
Arnav was shocked. "what is Khushi upto, saying everything to Di? Again acting innocent?"
Arnav: nothing like tha… he couldn't complete his sentence.
Anjali: you should understand Chotte. It is very difficult for a girl to tolerate such an accusation, especially when it is about her ex- fianc.
Arnav (in mind) ex- fianc?
Anjali: you should understand that, it kills a girl from inside to break her engagement?
Arnav: What are you saying, Di?
Anjali: Chotte, I am talking about Khushi ji's ex- fianc SHYAM, the lawyer who stayed in buaji's house as the paying guest. Khushi ji had to go through a lot of things. She was forced to get engage to him by buaji. She never wanted to. But for her family's happiness she did. The day after the havan that we kept for Aakash and payal she came to inform that she broke her engagement because her fianc cheated on her and her family. She never said the reason. She wanted to say something but stopped seeing that I was worried about your jeeja ji.
So Chotte please don't say anything that will remind her of these things. She lost her parents when she was so young. After that she tried to find happiness in everything happening around her, forgetting anything that is bad and she is trying to move on making others happy, hiding her sorrows. So please make her smile always and share her happiness and sorrow and never ever make her fell that she is alone.
Chotte I know that you love her a lot. Make her feel that love, and reduce your anger. She has always endured it and has forgiven you. But one more time, ……………. It will definitely break her heart. I hope you understand chotte.
Arnav couldn't say anything he just nodded, watching his sister leaving to her room.
Arnav: WHAT HAVE I DONE??????????????
