This separation was necessary for both of them. For Arnav to realize that he cannot always get what he wanted... Also to realize the importance of others, their dreams, their wishes and respect them...he will also realize that it is due to his playboy nature Khushi was not able to trust him which he can change and prove to Khushi that he really loves her and it is not only physical attraction...
For Khushi, to realize her feelings towards Arnav, to see real Arnav behind the playboy image...

What really surprised me is readers comments about Khushi's behaviour...cannot believe that some of female readers were siding with Arnav and did not willing to understand Khushi's POV...well that proves that saying woman is woman's enemy...
By the way if this ff have happy ending than are you going to change the title to 'Welcomed relationship' from 'unwelcomed relationship'? 😉
