Part 15 (Maha Update)

He waited her to say something but nothing came from her mouth, so he thought for leaving, but before he could get up, she pulled him back and hugged him tightly like her life was depending on him. For a minute he didn't know what happened, he couldn't think straight just that the woman who was different from other girls was hugging him tightly, without wasting time he hugged her back with more passion and happiness.

Two weeks after the confrontation, both of them avoided each other very successfully, it didn't mean that they didn't saw each other. But whenever they were in the office, Shilpa would be with Anjali and Atul, Armaan with Rahul and clients. They kept themself busy as much as they could but when they had meetings and discussions about the project, both would behave very professional. Only one person knew what was going on here and that was non other than Rahul. Rahul could see how Shilpa tried to avoid Armaan as much as she could and Armaan always wanted to be near her. This two weeks changed him completely, in this 14 days Armaan never took a girl to his house or nor he tried to come close to one, his eyes would always look for one girl, Shilpa. And even Shilpa was getting used to her presence and she started to accept that he was not like Karan, he would never like him, yes for others he might be heartless monster but she knew how much pain he got in the past and the scares are still not healed.

Mr. Kapoor whose company was supporting the project came to finalize the final design for the new mall that Armaan and Shilpa both are constructing together. Mr. Kapoor bit a bye to everyone and took a promise from them to join the party, but after he left Shilpa had many questions, but then she thought not to ask him because it was his life and she shouldn't interfere in it. Anjali and Atul chatted a while with Rahul and then they too left and all the time Armaan kept stealing glances of Shilpa. Rahul could see what the other couldn't, there was something in Armaan's eyes for Shilpa, it wasn't lust, it was something very deep and pure unlike the other times. Shilpa was busy packing her thing but still she was aware about the starring sessions of Armaan. She looked up in his eyes, still he didn't broke the eye lock, Shilpa's body was reacting in a way that she could describe, her body was getting warmer, her cheeks were red like tomatoes, her heart beat was running races. Armaan took a step to her, seeing her flushed face he wanted to kiss her right now but he didn't want to spoil the new found friendship."Shilpa" She closed her eyes to control her heart, she couldn't understand why her heart stopped for a second and then started beating faster than ever just by hearing her name from his mouth. Controlling herself she took her bag and was about to leave the room when suddenly Armaan blocked her way and moved very close to her, she avoided looking at him. "Armaan ... please yeh kya kara hai ho ... Rahul is in the room ... please move." Armaan chuckled, looking around the room. "Shilpa ... Rahul is long gone ... no one is her apart from u and me." The husky voice of his was making her mind numb, yes she was attracted to him, not because his face reminded him of someone but because he made her feel something that she never felt with Karan. "Armaan please ... I have to go." "U are coming to the party ... right?" She hurriedly nodded her head and she pushed him lightly and went to the door but stopped when she heard him again. "Shona ... actually I wanted to talk to u ... Mr. Kapoor ..." She turned around and looked at him. "Armaan u don't have to tell me anything ... and I am not expecting u to dig your past out in front of me ... I know how hard it is to move on when u have a horrible hunting past ... so no need to open the wounds of past if they give u just pain." She left behind an amazed Armaan who had still so many questions about her past and the person that looked alike.

8 o'clock evening, Mr. Kapoor's resort, party hall

Armaan was already there, without Rahul because Muskaan wasn't feeling good and so he stayed home by his pregnant wife.

Armaan was wearing a white shirt, three buttons were open and showed his well trained chest and a black blazer on it with blue denim pant, looking dashing than ever.
