Hi guys!! exams finally overrr!!😃 EEEHHHAAA!! so here I am with your update and I am updating pretty soon this time!! please please pleaseee do comment more... as it does take a lot of hardwork to update and its pretty time consuming as well... but anyways... as I promised tht id update fast... I am keeping my promise and updating the next part!😊

Chapter 7

And yet it was another day when it was arnavs biggest mission in life to win his wife back... he knew very well that he was getting there... and that is what kept him motivated for the whole thing... he was extremely happy that khushi also kept her word in not being biased and genuinely try hard for this marriage to work out as they both wouldnt want it any other way...

Arnav as usual went for his morning walk and came back to find the lovely family waiting with breakfast for him to join them... he always thought that his family were the only people that mattered to him.. but now it turns out that this family was now equally important to him... He also though that his di would be the only person that means the world to him and that there will be no one else who can possibly make a place in his heart... but turns out he was wrong again... his concern for his di was unmeasurable... but his heart already belonged to someone else... the beautiful women he can proudly call his wife... he took a shower and joined everyone else while his eyes still searching for her... She didnt show up for breakfast that day.. and he didnt even get a chance to ask amma or buaji about her whereabouts as they were too busy talking to the neighbours who came over to their place for a cup of tea...

Finally he went to the kitchen and found her making piles of jalebis! And he knew something was up with his wife..

Arnav: (eyes wide open) Khushi! What happened? Are you ok? Whats with all these jalebis?

Khushi: that isnt any of your business... I wanted to eat them so I made them.. (with a frown)

Arnav: well clearly ur upset about something... might as well say it..

Khushi: can u please leave me alone... I dont wanna speak to anyone right now...

Arnav: no! I aint going anywhere till you tell me whats going on!

Khushi: (gave up) im worried about my family!

Arnav: which family?

Khushi: this family! Gupta family!

Arnav: and what is bothering you so much?

Khushi: buaji's pension has not yet arrived... and it keeps delaying always... and she has to run this house with the very limited amount of money that she gets.. which is also not given sometimes..

Arnav: Khushi! Why didnt u tell me about this problem before?! I could help!

Khushi: there isnt any point! They wont even let me help let alone u! They think cuz im married to u now... my responsibility is towards your family... and they think theyll manage it on their own! (tears start rolling down her cheeks)

Arnav: (cupping her face) hey! Sshhh!! dont cry baby! That is the last thing I would want is to see tears in your eyes! Give me sometime.. lets see what we can do about this... okay?

Khushi: (just looks down and keeps crying)

Meanwhile arnav rushes to their room and make some phone calls... after all he was arnav singh raizada... theres nothing he cant get done... he had appointed a great lawyer to make sure that not only does she get her money as soon as possible but also the cycle is regular so that she doesnt face any problem... also that she should get the money that she deserves and not a penny less then that...

After a while... the doorbell rang and buaji opened the to find the lawyer with all the details and her pay cheque for the month... also ensuring that everything from now will be handled by him and there would be no problem with her payments from now on! Buaji could not thank arnav enough for what he did... and in fact the whole family was grateful to him for what he has done... Khushi meanwhile was standing near the kitchen saw and heard the whole thing... she had tears in her eyes... and only she knows how grateful she was to her husband for doing this for her family.. she saw arnav entering their bedroom.. she quickly turned the stove off and ran into their room!

Khushi: Thanks (with a smile on her face)

Arnav: you dont have to thank me for anything... this was my responsibility... even though I must agree that I am relieved to see the smile on your face.. (smiles)

Khushi: (blushes) my family would always be grateful to you for what youve done for us!

Arnav: (suddenly his smile fades away and he turn away to do some other work)

Khushi: is everything ok arnav? (concerned)

Arnav: (with a straight face) fine..

Khushi: why do you look upset all of a sudden?

Arnav: nothing khushi... its just that out difference of opinion sometimes makes me feel really hurt

Khushi: I dont understand?

Arnav: YOUR family? And you're responsibility is now towards MY family? (emphasising the YOUR and MY)

Khushi: (still confused)

Arnav: to me khushi.. both the families are our families... theres no yours or mine here... I dont need to be thanked for what ive done is because they are my family as well.. and im equally responsible for them... and as for you.. im sorry that you have to feel all responsible for MY family... you dont have to worry about them anymore from now on... you are free... (going back to doing his work)

Khushi: (realised how hurt he was... he was trying so hard to make this marriage work.. and she just ruined it all in a matter of seconds.. but she had to fix this) yes I do have to worry about them... and I wasnt complaining about it! I am glad I can be a part of that family... and they are my family as much as they are yours do u get that! So dont you dare ever say that I dont have to worry about them anymore (tears in her eyes)

Arnav: I didnt khushi... you did... but anyways.. lets forget about this whole thing...

Khushi: no I am not forgetting about this whole thing till you get this crazy idea out of your head! I apologise for what I said.. I didnt mean it... it just came out in a wrong way! So I am sorry for what I said! Both theses families belong to us equally!

Arnav: (turns to face her... he sees her looking down and crying) hey! Please dont cry! You dont have to apologise! I am sorry I over reacted! Both the families love you equally and your a part of them both equally..

Khushi: and so are you..

Arnav: (smiles) and so am I...

Khushi: (wipes her tears away and turns to go)

Arnav: I made you smile yesterday which is why you let me hold you for a while... I somehow managed to do it again today... dont I at least deserve a hug for it? (smirks and he knew khushi would never do it..)

Khushi: (turns around and walks toward him and holds him for a tight hug)

Arnav: (was shocked by this gesture... for a few seconds he thought he was dreaming.. after a while when he came out of his trace.. he held her by her waist really tight so that she couldnt easily let go)

Khushi: (finally broke the hug) there you go... happy now? (smiles)

Arnav: (still shocked) WOAH! You did that willingly?

Khushi: (smiles) all I can say is that it seems like you are determined to win what you have to this time... and you get closer to success by the day... (with that she turned away)

Arnav: (shocked at the hint she just gave) well.. I told you... I am above all... and I get what I want! And what I want now is to kneel down to someone above me... which would be you your highness! (smiles)

Precap: they kiss and share the same bed at night... things get a little intimate
