OMG she's doing the same thing Arnav does in regards to Khushi. They are both drowning in their sorrows. Will they ever get pass this? One thing I can say is that Arnav now understand what she's going through but he's unable to comfort her as he need comforting himself but not from her. She also need comforting but not from Arnav. I'm wondering now if they will come to an impasse. I figure that Arnav now know that Sharman still loves Nisha, and so does she. As to whether he will help them I am uncertain. The only solution right is for NiAr to get their family to see sense out of this whole situation. I wish Khushi or Sharman will come back and demand their love be returned to them. I really feel bad for Nisha. The situation her and Arnav are in is wasting away at the best years of their lives. They know who their soul-mates are but can't or refuse to be with them. What is life without, love and happiness? Why live a life of compromise? Can they find love with each other? They are both lying to themselves. LOVED the update😃

loved the update very heart breaking and intense how are they going to make a marriage work if the can't even talk to each other arnav is not even attracted to each other sharman looks so broken sharman is just like khushi the one's who love's hurt them loved the update well written beautifully done thanks for the pm

Why unsure Rae...the chapter was splendid...enough interaction between Arnav and Sharman to know that they both recognize and acknowledge their respective presence in Nisha's life...one past, and one in the present. Glad that Arnav saw Nish in a vulnerable moment too...perhaps this will HUMANIFY her in his eyes, rather than just thinking her as a means to an end!!

I loved the read!!😛

sharman and arnavs interaction was short buT said so many thngs!
nishis past and present -perfect!t
Nishis condition brought tears in my eyes! whys love so difficult *sigh*
and her and arnavs situation is same! both are compromising their love for family when they are so much hurt!
very very emotional chapter rae! well written !!
i LoveD it !! and the flashback just heighteneD the dEpth of ths part! Well written !

I knew it. Nisha is an awesome character. Take a bow, Rae. So many layers. I loved the transition from the i-don't-care-about-the-Raizadas attitude to the he-is-here-and-I-don't-know-how-to-handle-it attitude to the I-want-to-leave-and-I-cannot-hide-my-hurt-any-longer one! And then back to being cold again

This is a great character and completely yours :) You should be proud.

Poor little 10 year old being sent off to boarding school :( (Although I know that boarding school is not half as bad as children initially think it is :P)

Sharman? I will still reserve my judgement on him. I don't know enough.

Arnav - no comments on him this time (my heart breaks!) because this was for Nisha.

Brilliant writing!

PS: Can I please go shopping with you next time? I love your selection and description of saris and suits! (of course I hate shopping and hence my taste is nothing to write about!)

The meeting was real unexpected!

One couple has met and their flashbacks come haunting them.

It is real nice to see Arnav being considerate of Nisha when he saw the un shed tears!

She seems sweet enough!

So so so curious about their lives, how everything will unravel! I do love happy endings though!

Hey AT.. that was an amazing episode (i tend to think your chapters like episodes.. they are so well written, its almost as if i am seeing them:))

i get what you are trying to do.. you are writing with such passion about NiSh so that we alll start loving them as much as you do, right?? well.. you are really getting there.. in this chapter, i really felt for poor Nisha... i really did.. i mean to have to deal with

- an idiot of a new fiance, who insists on being in thoughts of his ex-wife alll the time.. (ok sorry.. i do still love Arnav :))

- take care of old grandparents' expectations

- live with the shadow of a father, who clearly has done a lot wrong back then..

- to top it all, having to lose someone you clearly loved sooo dearly..

sigh!!

but this Sherman guy.. quickly give us a preview into why is he the way he is.. as of now.. i dont like him.. he seems veryyy... spineless... is that the word i want to use.. i dont know.. something is amiss.. he is not taking a hard stand on anything.. being as feeble as he is.. comes across as spineless.. do something.. redeem him.. show us what made him what he is..

but most importantly.. where is my Khushiii.. atleast bring her to the same circles as these 3.. why should she lose out on all the confrontational... tear inducing fun.. :D sadist i have become!!

anyways.. great chapter.. why were you doubtful about this chapter again???

You know, I've become so used to the pain in this story that my eyes start welling up even before I start reading..

And right now, after finishing the chapter, I have eye liner running down my face.. Not great, as I'm at work.. :s

Nisha and Sharman's pain on seeing one another.. :'( It was even harder to see given how different Nisha's demeanour had been just seconds before.. All the confidence disappeared in the blink of an eye..

It was good seeing Arnav apologizing to her. The realisation there are other people in the world who may have troubles as painful as his own was needed.

Beautiful update.. Totally heartbreaking.. There is so much pain and underlying anger in Nisha.. Kinda like Arnav, but for different reasons and directed at different people/circumstances in their lives. And Sharman and Khushi seem to have similar feelings of acceptance, resignation and defeat. But not one of them is moving forward, or is able to leave anything behind. They are all four stuck in their own personal hells.

This is going to get more painful, isn't it?
