Day Four - At Gupta House
Morning
Khushi wakes up and finds the other side of bed empty for seconds she thought where Arnavji gone then it did strike her, she is in her won bed room. She comes out from bedroom lazily. She did not feel well after all she did not sleep whole night but somewhere between in the early morning she falls in sleep. She did not understand that too. How did she sleep, when she could not able to sleep entire night no it is not so call tired?
"Buwaji, please give me a good tea"
Someone sits on table read the news paper which hides fully their form.
"Buwaji, Khushi has wake up please get the tea for her too"
He lowers the paper looks at her. Startled Khushi looks at him then squeezes her eyes with her fist then see him again. He smiles at her gesture it is his Khushi. He gets up come around table stood in front of her one feet distance. In his mind he prays unknowing to himself 'please Khushi' said hesitantly.
"Khushi"
Khushi blink her eyes several time. Her hands rises to his cheek to check weather he is real or it just her mind play the trick.
It was just enough for him. His hands pull her waist towards him crash her body to his. He hugged her tightly, buried his face in to her hair, running hands up and down. As he holds her his dear to live he remembers early morning conversation with Buawaji & her Amma.
Flash back
When He comes to her house it was almost three in the morning. Guptas were scare to death. He first let them know that everything was alright and everyone is fine. He wanted see Khushi first then he will talk with them as it is really important so, this cannot wait until dawn.
Buwaji put her hand on head said "Arre Nanu Kishor"
He moves to Khushi room. Arnav sees Khushi disturbed form. He was sure that she is restless. He took her palm in to his, sees her whole body relax at last she settle down on the bed. He takes her fingers in to his hand kiss them said
"Khushi, I know how much you love me,
But
I do not know why are trying to run away from me".
They peek up behind him and saw how he was just pat her and makes her fallen in to deep sleep. They were really worried that she did not behave well after she came today from Raizada house notice that she could not sleep properly.
But Buawaji & Amma thought it just their first fight after marriage.
Arnav sees his hands do the magic as she falls in to deep undisturbed sleep.
He comes out from the room.
Everyone stare at Arnav. Arnav gulped down, he knows it will really hard to give them explanation and gaining there trust. He looks around every one of them, comes near Buawaji sits beside her. He takes her hand in to his said
"Please remember one thing I love Khushi without her I could not live and Khushi too"
Amma said "haan bituwa we all know that"
"But I married her forcefully" Arnav said with bending head.
Buawaji withdraw her hand in shock. Arnav looks up at them
"Please before take any decision let me tell the whole tale"
Shashi Gupta hand touches Garima's hand when Garima & Buwaji about to protest. He gesture them to let him speak.
He sighed and explains them
He remember everything with a flash
How he met Khushi in Lacknow t
he way she falls in to his arm, her scare eyes
How she join in his company
how he finds her out under the table, let her hand to fall.
How they fight over every simple thing,
The challenge with her, making her correct all the mistake.
How he fall in love with her,
The rain hug, the first day he lifted unconscious Khushi in to his arm, Akash & Payal wedding days
How he saw her with Shayam on that fate full day
Shayam hugs Khushi & Khushi tells to Shayam to leave Anjali then when he asks Shayam, he says Khushi is my life.
How he threaten her to marry him.
The sis month contract how rudely he told her to marry him if she did not he would stop the wedding.
His face always show only one emotion anger no betray his unfathomable pain he feels
How Khushi finds him when he was kidnapped
The first meeting after kidnap, how scare she was in the hunt.
How the whole Raizada did comes to know the truth about Shayam
Now how much he loves his Khushi and how much Khushi loves him.
At last what happen in last three days & how did she leave him.
There was a long silence nobody even say a word the truth come out in the night from nowhere shaken them.
Arnav eyes flew at everyone face restlessly, even a child could tell how much he scared now.
Arnav breaks the silence.
"All I ask is a one more chance, believe me you would not regret it for giving it"
Again nobody say anything but they all notice his hands tremble, fear crept in to his eyes, jaw tighten with fear that if they refused...
Buawaji breaks the silent this time "what about Sanika devi, our tatiliya dose not like to live with you that is why she come here is not it".
Arnav looks at them as thought he has been slapped across the face.
Buwaji was really angry with him but when he looks at them like that she could not take it.
"Look Khushi has suffered much more I think it is the time for us to stand beside her" Buwaji said.
"But Buwaji Khushi would not happy without me, you see it now. Are you saying her happiness means nothing to you?" His eyes and voice pleads with them. Unshed tears fill in his eyes.
"Tikke nandu kishor, could you prove it"
"I just prove it Buwaji by makes her sleep"
"That is not enough"
"Buwaji she is angry with me upset with me she would not accept herself"
They all keep quite this time.
Gupta's don't know what to do. Arnav don't know what to say.
"Jiji I have an idea" Garima said
Arnav looks at her with all the hope in this world showed in his eyes.
Buwaji gives her question look.
"When Khushi wakes up in the morning and sees him here even if she had twinkle in her eyes, he could have been blessing by chance, because our Khushi deserve it. May be even if he do not deserve her."
"What do you say" Buwaji asks Arnav.
Arnav could do all is nodding his head. He really did not believe his luck.
"In this matter we would not help you so don't even expect that" Buwaji said.
Arnav nods again.
Flash back ends
He held her more tightly to him. A tear fight with his close eyes to an escape. She feels home in his hand and rest her head on his strong chest, murmur in to his shirt "Arnavji'"
Amma, Buwaji and Shashi Gupta all watch amazingly. They could sense the love bond between them. They see how relax both feel in each others arm. How Khushi glow herself.
Arnav had been shaken with emotions said in husky determination voice that voice Khushi known well would do anything in this world "don't ever do this to me Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada, if you do it again then come back to see my dead body". Khushi closes his mouth with her palm shakes her head "Arnavji..."
They both stared in to each others eyes lost in their own world. He hold her wrist place a soft kiss on her palm.
The other three shared an understanding look and nods head.
Khushi comes to this world when it suddenly hit her why did she leave him. She jerked her arm from his grip takes two steps backward. When she about to say something
"Arre Sanika Devi, at last you wake up at go get fresh up I will give you a good tea".
Arnav looks at Buwaji unbelievingly.
