Prologue:
"Bhabi, you see your husband is a good friend and I, I never turn down any request from my friends!" he leered at her as her eyes darted between the door, locked by her husband, and the monster that was slowly advancing towards her. Like a hunter eyeing her prey he ogled her body as he advanced stealthily towards her, ready to pounce on his prize as quickly as possible. A prize he had won fair and square in a game of poker, played only to decide who will bed her, to do what her husband was incapable of. All of sudden he was at her; his fingers clasped her neck as he choked her, she started to lose consciousness, spiraling down into darkness.
"AAAhhh," she woke up with a strangled moan, breathing heavily and sweating profusely, her heartbeat erratic. Assuming a fetal position she began to cry, her body convulsing as she suppressed her tormented sobs. Slowly and gradually as her cries subsided, she shot up from the bed and headed for the shower. The jet of cold water hit her hard, numbing her body, as she crazily scrubbed herself. She would have continued endlessly had she not lost her strength and slumped down on the floor of the shower cubicle howling miserably. Ever since that day she had felt unclean, violated, nothing could make her forget how she had been treated like dirt, like a disposable item.

"They will be here by six, so you better show up!" he could exactly recall the irritation in her voice as she tried to reason with him, not knowing that she was the one culpable for what she termed as his completely unfathomable behavior. Another hard backhand shot and the ball hit the wall with a crackling sound.
"I don't believe in getting married, don't you bloody well understand?" he had shouted at her.
"Damn it! I don't believe in God why can't you get it across your mind!" he had yelled at her in complete indifference to propriety when she had merely said, "for God's sakes!"
"I don't believe in this foolery called marriage," he chewed on each word, "especially when I have had the chance to study two samples so closely," he finished, his voice almost menacing towards the end.
Another shot, fuelled by his rile, crackled on the wall of the squash court as his heart lurched for the only woman in his life he cared for, her beaten and battered image etched in his mind.
"This world has no laws, those who have the power to make them, do so to run the world in their own accord. I do the same and I am not ashamed of holding this!" he had often voiced his opinion loud and clear without hang-ups.
Soon to follow: A brief introduction of the characters (I'll decide If I am going to share them separately or just bring them along as we move ahead 😉
