PART 6

NK gifted Khushi a showpiece . A lady was standing between 2 men. She was facing one of them. NK pointed out, "Khushiji yeh aap hein, yeh mein (man facing the lady) aur yeh Nannav."

Arnav was too shocked to hear this. Khushi suppressed a smile on seeing Arnav's expression. NK corrected himself "I mean Khushiji is facing you Nannav, I'm the other one standing behind her"

"Now thats much better" Arnav thought.

The rest of the day passed without much problems eventhough Arnav spent most of his time with Anya and Khushi with NK. But both of them did not leave a chance to taunt each other. Much to Khushi's surprise Arnav took Anya for shopping leaving her behind. Khushi took advantage of the situation and escaped to her room and opened his drawer to take out his diary. Oh no it was not there. She had to search a lot to atlast find it inside the wardrobe , hidden in between his clothes. Eventhough his handwriting was difficult to make out, she was now used to it, atleast after reading almost half of that book within hours. She started from where she had stopped before. She wanted to know what was going on between Arnav and Anya. She finished reading and placed the book back from where she had taken it.

"Matlab vo har din humara diary pad rahe the!!! Unhe sab kuch pata chal gaya tha aur voh Anyaji ke saath milke hume patane ki koshish mein lage hein??? Hey Devi Mayya hume maaf kar dena. Humne unhe galat samjha. Yahan thak ki Anyaji ko kitna bhura bhala kaha. Par Arnavji unhe hume Saari sachai bata deni chahiye thi... Shayad nahi hum kaise react karte hume bhi nahi patha..."

She took out her DIARY and started explaining the days events praising NK to the maximum and controlling her emotions. Arnav should not know that she had read his diary yet again. She wrote minimum of her feelings so that Arnav would think that she is flirting with NK and does not care for him these days. She decided to repay Arnav on the same coin which he had tossed.

She heard a commotion outside and understood that they were back. She placed her diary in position so that Arnav doesn't suspect .

"Khushiji" it was Shyam

"JEEJAJI, aap yahan kya kar rahe ho???"

"Khushiji aap achi tarah se jaante hein ki hume aapka hume JEEJAJI bulana bilkul pasand nahi hein. Aapke muh se Shyamji ache lagte hein." Now he was moving towards her.

"Aap.. aap jaayiye yahan se.. varna hum .."

"varna hum kya Khushiji?"

"varna hum Arnavji ko bulayenge"

"Arre yeh kya Khushiji, Arnav to aapse pyaar hi nahi karta..Dekha nahi aapne kaise voh uss ladki Anya ke saath chippak ke rahte hein"

Meanwhile Anya and Arnav had brought gifts for all. Arnav had noticed that eventhough NK was there Khushi was not present.

" Wait a minute Shyam was also missing. Is he upto something now???"he thought.

He went to look for her and reached their room. He had been listening to them for a while. When he heard Shyam say that Arnav didn't love Khushi , he stormed inside.

"to aap mujhe Khushi se behtar jaante ho ,wow jeejaji"

Khushi sighed in relief while Arnav continued

"Aapko kya laga aap aake mujhse keh denge ki aap aur Khushi ek doosre se pyaar karte hein aur mein maan jaaonga. Afsoos jeejaji afsoos. Aap mujhe nahi pehchaan paye. Aapke jaankari ke liye bata doon mujhe aapke aur Khushi ke bare mein sab pata hein yahan tak ki aap ise Lucknow mein mila tha, yahan aap unke ghar mein PG banke rahe, Khushi se sagaai ki aur phir sach pata chalne par unhone aapko ghar se nikaal diya. Isliye jeejaji aap mere Khushi se door rahiye. Samjhe aap, varna mujhse bhura koi nahi hoga. Mein yeh bhool jaaonga ki aap mere DI ke pati hein aur voh aapki bache ki maa banne vaali hein. Haan aur ek baat, mein jald hi unke saamne aapka asli chehra laa doonga. Isliye apne liye rehne ke liye kuch intzaam kar lena."

"Khushi mere saath neeche chalo"

"JI"

Shyam was burning with rage. He left Shantivan making an excuse that he was going to meet a client in Mumbai.

Now Khushi here was not going to leave any chances of teasing Arnav. Arnav thought that she would be happy because he had been on her side and had said all those to Shyam. But Khushi was behaving as if nothing had happened.

Khushi went down and sat next to NK. It was evident on Khushi's face that she was repaying Arnav for being with Anya. Anjali was having a good time enjoying the fun going on between her Chotte and her Khushi Bhabhi.

In two three days Arnav had given up. He was now trying to catch up with Khushi instead of being with Anya whereas Khushi was in no mood to give up. But Arnav ensured that NK was nowhere near Khushi. Khushi was very much happy to see the mighty ASR follow her like a small child. He even went with her to the Mandir. The whole family was enthralled to see Arnav like this. No one felt the others presence there. It was all about Arnav and Khushi.

It was Sunday and Arnav was at home when Khushi went to have a chat with NK.

"Nanheji aap humare saath amma, bauji aur buaji se milne challenge??"

"Haan haan Khushiji sure"

"par Khushi mein tumhe le chalunga , mein bhi unse milna chaahtha hoon" Arnav had again interrupted them for the umpteenth time in the last couple of days.

"Nahi Arnavji hum Nanheji ke saath chale jaayenge"

Arnav was about to respond when Anjali who had been listening to all this came to her chotte's rescue.

"Khushiji agar chotte bhi apne sasural valom se milna chahte hein to isme bhurayi kya hein??? Aap theeno chale jaayiye na. Anya kya tum bhi unse milna chahoge???"

"Haan di"Anya replied.

"chalo to acha hein, tum charon jao aur unse mil aao. Hum naani se keh denge."

"Ji di jaisa aap chaahe . Khushi, Anya, NK come fast"

Arnav forced Khushi to sit in front while NK and Anya settled together at the back seat.
