"lagta hein aap dono se baat karke hum apne waqt barbaad kar rahe hein,vaise hum keh rahe the ki agar aap dono free ho to Anya aur NK ko bhadayi de dijiye"Anjali said and walked off leaving an embarassed Arnav and Khushi behind.

It was night time. All the guests had dispersed and Arnav and Khushi had congratulated Anya n NK. Khushi and Arnav where in their room.

"Aaj hum bohut kush hein shayad aap bhi Khush honge kyun Arnavji???"

Khushi asked her Arnavji who was sitting with her soutan (laptop). Sometimes she felt jealous of the laptop sinced it was always so close to him than her.

"Kyun Khushi aaj hamara sagai hua isliye???" Arnav asked with a slight smirk playing on his face.

"Ji bilkul nahi.. aaj hum dono ke best friends ke sagai hui he isliye"

Both of them knew that Khushi was lying and the fact that they both were happy for themselves. The only problem that existed between them now was that Arnav was ready to express his feelings towards her but Khushi was not.

"Aap apna kaam jaldi khatam kar lijiye phir hum batti bhujakar so jaate hein"

"Khushi tum so jao mein baad mein so jaunga."

"Yahan bistar pe sone ke liye aapko hamari sone tak ki intezaar karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hein. Abhi bhi so sakte ho"

"Tumhe pata tha ki mein tumhare sone ke baad.."

"Haan haan ek raat hum theek se so nahi paaye aur jab humne aapko iss taraf aate dekha to humne sone ka natak kiya tha usi dim humne sab dekha.. :-p"

"Khushi tum yeh pehle keh nahi sakte the kya??? Tume pata hein kya mujhe dher raat tak jaagna padta tha yeh ensure karne ke liye ki tum so gaye ho ya nahi aur phir theek se so nahi paate the.. Ab theek hein mein ek minute mein aaya"

That night Arnav and Khushi dozed offf peacefully holding each other.

The shopping sessions for the wedding began. The jeweller was present . everyone except Khushi had selected sets. They were busy trying on their items and there was no one even to help poor Khushi. NK was helping Anya. Naani and Maami were with Payal and Anjali. Akash ,Mama and Arnav were in their rooms respectively. She was not able to decide on what to select. Her eyes fell on a simple chain with a pendant in which the letter 'A' was made. She was about to take it when Arnav picked it up .

"Acha hein na Khushi , A for Anjali , di ke liye perfect hoga right."

Khushi elt bad bu she did not say anything because she knew how he loved his sister and Anjali di was actually worth it.

Khushi was brought back from her thoughts when she felt Arnav's hands going around her neck. The whole family by now were looking at them. Arnav had selected a absolutely beautiful diamond necklace for her.

"Vaah Khushiji aapke pati ki choice bahut achi hein bilkul aapki tarah."Anjali commented.

"haan chotte aapki pasand vakahi mein bahut ache ho chahe vo Khushi bitiya ho yeh haar ya phir voh sari" Naani said looking at her grandson.

Khushi blushed and Arnav was smirking at her

"Aisa lag raha hein ki mere aur NK ki nahi Khushi aur Arnav ki shaadi ho rahi hein"

Khushi was embarassed by now. She ran to her room olowed by Arnav. This was not unnoticed by the family and they were giggling on seeing Arnav behaving like this.

Khushi was standing in front of the mirror admiring the necklace which her husband had chosen for her when he came in. The figure in front of the mirror caught his eyes. Arnav was advancing towards her when she escaped to the washroom.

Days passed . Arnav ko to sir ek mauke ki talaash thi apne pyaar ke ishaar karne keliye.

Arnav and Akash returned from office by around 4:00pm earlier than usual.

"Arnavji, Akash aap dono aaj itne jaldi???" Payal asked.

"Haan Payal aaj kaam jaldi khatam ho gaya tha isliye."Akash replied.

"Vaise Payal DI aur Khushi kahan hein???"

"vo dono hospital gaye hein Di ke routine check up keliye. Naani bhi unhi ke saath gaye hein." Anya replied as she and NK came in. Mama and Maami were also present.

"Vaise Arnavji aap Khushi ko kal kya de rahe hein???"

"KAL???"

"Aapko nahi pata? Kal uska janamdin hein..hume laga aapko pata hoga.. humesha voh humse kehte rahte hein ki hume yeh chahiye voh chahiye, iss baar usne humse kuch nahi kaha hume laga shayad aapse kaha hoga isliye"

"Acha to kal meri biwi ka birthday hein. Kaise pati ho yaar tum apni biwi ka janamdin nahi pata. Khair kal mein use uske zindagi ka sabse bada tofa doonga. Mein use apni dil ki baat keh doonga. Apna pyaar ka izhaar kar doonga." Arnav thought.

"Haan Payal to tum kya pooch rahi thi, ki mein use kya de raha hoon right. Meine kuch socha hein.. Aur haan ek surprise party bhi arrange karte hein. Sirf amily members hi honge ok Payal. Kal tum aur Akash milke sab intezaam karna. Akash par tumhe kuch der keliye office aana hoga . Aur haan DI aur Naani ko sab bata dena. Aur NK tum, mujhe baaki sab pe vishwaas hein yahan tak ki Lakshmi par bhi, par tum pe bilkul bhi nahi. Kushi se iss baare mein kuch mat kehna. Aur kal koi use wish nahi karega. Mein use office le jaunga aur vaapas le aakar usse zor ka jhatka denge .. OK?

"OOOKKK" eveyone said in unision
