They stood like that till eternity. the after math was brutal for him and it was painful for her to see him like that but she saw hope for them... he had never shared himself so much with anyone, she knew she was the first one to step in the scared horrors of his life... later they went and sat on the bed and he didn't say anything just held her hand and sat there in peace, not knowing what or how they will move ahead from here but soaking the comfort of togetherness, she sat there just by his side ruffling his hair with soft hands and hoping that somewhere he had healed.

Hrs later she saw him in slowly sink in sleep, she got up and went to her room, she freshened up she knew experiences like this took toil on one's soul so she decide to make something nice for them for dinner, she knew they had staff there and he could anything for them to eat but she wanted to do something for him, unsure of their situation where it ill lead yet as frnds or human being she needed to do this for him.

She called in the staff and informed them abt her intentions and moved to proceed to make dal rice & a nice fried bhindi with masala veg raita and sugarless dry fruit halwa for him, she knew this will relax her and also it will something small for him, she was buzy in the kitchen doing all by herself.

When Arnav walked in he had woken up some time back and realized it was evening, he had gotten refreshed and called the staff for tea when they had informed that khushi had barred them from kitchen, confused he had walked in kitchen, he silently observed her few mins, and as if she sensed him, she turned and looked at him, she gave him a serene smile and asked "Aaree Arnav ji aap"" aap yahan kaise, aapko kuch chaye tha, humen bol diya hota... he smiled she was always like this for him, pampering him, protecting him,( he remembered the day his sugar had gone low 7 he had fainted, her agony) he said with a small smile just a cup of tea, and if you allow the staff can make it for mw ,,,, she said no no I will make it right away fo you. she instantly made a strong cup of tea for him with adrak and gv him, she asked him" aap theek ho nai" He smiled and said haan bilkul and looked in her eyes; he could see her genuine concern coming from her soul.

she said I hv just finished the preparing the dinner and its ready when ever you are ready tell me we can hv it . he smiled ...

She sat with him, and he kept looking, how had DM blessed him with this angel, who didn't judge or comment on anything they had shared and just cocooned him in the glow of her spirit, melting the cold calculating ASR away..

After finishing his tea, he suddenly stood up and reached her in two steps,,,, he hugged her tite, and she too hugged him later he said dunt ever leave me khushi,,, Imite be able to bear it agn,,,, she quitely held him and nodded. he bent n kissed her on foreahead assuring him self and then automatically his lips moved towards the rosy blooming full lips, a light brush n it sent her tingling with pleasure, his eyes caressing every curve of her body, she felt so shy, she hid herself into him. suddenly his fone rang , dammit Aman, he muttered... she smiled , she giggled and ran away.

Later they had dinner and retired to sit in patio, he held her hand and had a peaceful expression... they had a strange compassion, and attraction one whic bound them to each other, he told her khuhsi will you sleep with me tonite like you did yeterday?? she looked at him, nervous, yet wanting, her lashed looking downward, she noded, how could she refuse such a simple request.

she went to her and chnaged and came back to his room, he had also changed and was waiting for her, his anxious look sent her buterflies dancing in her stomac, how could he love so much, hold control on himself, last night had been easy because he had been asleep, but know she felt her legs turning to jelly, as if sensing her hesitation, he moved and held her hand... lot of shivers ran in her body with that simple touch of his..

he jus pulled her close to , his hands moved and cupped her, moving up towards him, he looked in her eyes and said if you dunt want to its ok or if you are not comfortable, dunt force urself, I will understand, she looked unsure abt the conflict between her mind and hear, her hands fidgeting with her clothes, so much honesty and so much innocence he just couldn't hold himself back, he moved forward and Khushi shivered in anticipation, but his lips touched her forehead, in a kiss as light a baby's first touch. he kissed her with such tenderness, passing and honesty that tears ran through her eyes, she hugged him involuntarily, he hugged her back, some time later they moved to bed, and he tucked her in and went to his side. khushi was still feeling shy in this state of awareness.

he sat by his side with his laptop and was working for some time, slowly he saw khushi's body relaxed and sleep engulf her, she looked so serene so angelic, if he respected here previously now she worshipped her for she had done for him and his family, he had always needed her to fill colors in his dry world but the dormant desires has woken when she had giggled earlier in the kitchen, such innocence was rare, she was like a heady combination of ice cream n chocolate, chilled yet tempting, a small bunch of hair had come on her his hands itched to move them slowly leaning in he moved closed to her his lips hovering right over her pink ones. Oh how he was tempted to place his lips on hers, but he controlled and very softly removed her hair tucking, long time later he slept with his hand in hers.

The morning sun rose and rays touched Arnav, with the birds chirping , he woke and saw khushi has moved close to him in sleep and now her head was resting on his chest, he was looking blissfully calm and damn hot, her pink lips sharp nose, doe like closed eyes, desire shook him once again. a hair lock, marring her beauty flying across her beautiful, his hands moved on their own will and stopped on her fair cheek, he just seemed to fail to stop himself, he wanted her, he desired her but with her choice, he didn't want to coerce her as he had done last time, this time it was a choice she will make not him, like the choice she has made in returning back,

Suddenly she felt him, his gaze and her flew open, he was looking at her, in almost a soul yearning reflecting in eyes, lips jus mere a few inches between them.. their eyes meet and he saw a reflection of his desire in her, a pull, a thread which no knew but they felt pulling them in its knots... and he jus reached close to her, her fingers outlining her lips, slowly enticingly, exciting them heart beats increased, breathing hot and the moment was there when they want to be one...

I loved & respected him, he was my di's world , in all 3 years I had known him previous to your arrival in our lives he had been picture perfect. but your arrival rocked my safe haven, I had carefully built my life with walls arnd my heart. the first time you fell in arms, I was very angry with you for ruining the perfect moment of mine, that was the day I had snachted Sheesh mahal from the ppl who didnt deserve it and I was on high but you shattered my moment and when we had locked for questioning in the room, I could see the fear that I had seen in Di's eyes long back, but that unsettled me and I wasnt sure why but I didnt like you hurting me, may be in years someone had dared to speak, someone wasnt scared of my mask.but I coundnt do anything.

I knew somewhere I was wrong in my behaviour with you and previously when I had seen you in that red outfit, you had looked ethreal but your eyes they held promises untold, a hint of fear, with a dash of shyness and a lost heavean I had seen them and suddenly I was causing you pain, so that night I knew I had move away from you before I destroy you and that why next day I sent you to the GH site, but I swear to you, I didnt knew that it was a dangerous structure until then, ...

I had dies a 100 deaths there and when I found you, blood started pumping bk in my body but your reactions agn baffled me, I was used to ppl bowing me and here you were agn challenging me.

Each day close to you, observing me irked me, intrigued me and did a lot of things, I made you feel like nobody time and agn because somehwere I was protecting myself , I am sorry abt my methods but days went by and I dunt know when that irritation, anger turned into wait for you,,,,, I strated to look for the reasons when you would come to RM & I will get a glimpse of you,... it was ur amma's last pc, I felt guilty for depriving you of it as when had it, I was irritaed with you and had kept with only to disturb you, but when I realised its importance in your life I wanted it to return you and the whole evening you avoided me , and then I found you by poolside n you tripped I can swear on Di today, I had never thought of touching you before that moment that day I just wanted to give something you held precious but then I dunt what pulled me and i ended up there with you.

I was in a place where no one wanted to be and than I hurt you that night badly I know thats bcz I was hurting w/o answers, I who was dying to belong to someone wanted you to rescue me, yet when I did wrong you didnt fight for me,,, I had seen you fight for evryone, la , di, payal ur family and even Mrs Mehta at AR but u didnt for me... I was devasted but I had been caught in my own web I couldnt do anything... I didnt want to get commited, didnt know abt my feelings and I didnt know how to go abt and thats when I my anger was their sheliding,

The whole cosmos had consipired against me and had thrown me down from the bastions of highheadness, haughtiness. I was wounded agan but this time by myself and I couldnt reach out to you, for days weeks month I was like a creature who had no solace bcz my insides were burning. and then she slowly got up and hugged him, and then the tears ran down his eyes. she had nothing more nothing less to this man, who had been strong through the stroms and drawing the stregths from the pool of his beautiful soul. he was like this scared child who pretended to be brave when faced in darkness.

His voice was husky now almost whispering, crying & she knew it must hv been difficult for him to tell her all this, let her peep into his soul, bare all his ugly scars to her, she had her tears coursing down she just slowly walked to him & hugged him with all her might, and they tears which he had been holding within him for years ran down, the dam had been broken and he was shuddering in the aftermath, she hugged him tighter as if holding him in her protection hiding him from pain, she had only this to offer nothing more nothing less.
