So now the question stood before him..what to do.. he could be most comfortable if the easiest solution to put a smile on her face was to pull it from two ends and pin it like that..but not practical..they would kill him..he could'nt say all that

" hansdo warna meri sanse rukne lagengi" and all that stuff.. sanse rukne lagengi no doubt but for reasons different '

And then it came to him.. the failure proof plan of making khushi laugh.. but no..no way he was doing that... hell..he would be late..it would be disgusting... this one was his favorite..

but, very soon Arnav Singh Raizada was silently applying liquid handwash soap at the pool edge.. himself not believing what he was up to.. that he was actually compromising good time on making a dolt out of himself...

Khushi sat down at the recliner near the pool , her back towards it..she didn't feel like talking..to anyone..not even to herself..thats the way he liked it.. her misery made him glad..what luck..

One last look at his spotless, perfectly crease free, favorite( if differentiating between them was at all possible) suit, he muttered "just do it dammit"!

And so with a grim angry look on his face, fully comprehending what lay before him,coupled with a loud "Tum apne aap ko samajhti kya ho khushi kumari gupta singh raizada, tum..." causing khushi to turn her head around and look at him Arnav Singh Raizada marched speedily towards the swimming pool edge and...

"!!SPLASH!!!" 👏

Khushi stared eyes wide open as Arnav shook his head violently out of the water

silence...then khushi smiled...then grinned.. and then she burst..burst into the signature khushi kumari gupta singh raizada laughter..then as he stared a hard one at her she put all great efforts to put up a straight face as he moved out, dripping from head to toe..

"aap ne bataya nahi aap yahan nahane wale hain.. hum pehle chale jate bathroom.."

"zyada uchalne ki zarurat nahi samjhi tum..."he said inching closer, finger pointing at her face..

He strode out to his room and then looked back eying through the corner of his eye a khushi who played and replayed a youtube video of the entire past few minutes episode continuously in her mind and seemed to pause it everytime at the "SPLASH" part and burst into a fit of giggles...and a satisfied smile escaped his lips as he mentally played and replayed her smile..then grin...then signature KKGSR full fledged laughter..

damn! Was he late...

As he rushed madly down the stairs,changed,late,but victorious..he met HP...

"Ley aaye?"

" Ji Arnav Bhaiyya.."

"fine...OP ko bulao.."

as he was leaving, OP-"bhaiyya aapne bulaya.."

"hmm..yeh khushi ko de do..kehna office waalon ne bhijwaya hai.."

"ji..ji achcha"

so today could after all be normal...little do you know mr. Arnav Singh Raizada that out of all the words in that profound dictionary of yours..'normal' would least suit what is to follow today..

So like always the night before Arnav had again lost a few of his screws (both of the brain and the mouth)as a result of which they had had this terrible fight over a stupid hairdryer and things had gone from 'hairdryer' to 'hawa' to 'garam' to 'gussa' to 'dhokebaz' to 'kya?' To 'what the' to 'why don't you just get out of my life?' to 'hame bhi koi shaukh nahi..' to 'tumhari aukhat' and a revision of the entire script which they seemed to have almost been roting since the past few months..
