I loved this heart-wrenching and untimately heart-mending triptych.

So beautifully realized--the unspoken emotions within expressed by your prose.

I especially liked how you did the segments where she is leaving and foreshadowing her future life--a life where she will never see him smile, sad, tired or sick. And, the parallel, when he will never see her hug Di, dance with Nani--how he will never again eat food prepared by her hands. All this really resonated with me. I think because when one parts from a lover, it is those small things that one values. Not the big moments, but the daily minutiae of life and love.

(sigh)

Most emotional for me was the bit where Arnav talks about how unlucky she was to fall in love with a man like himself. Yes, Mr Raizada is finally able to see things from another person's point of view.

Also, love that symmetry of their declaration beginning with her falling into his arms.

Full circle.

Splendid work.

(I hate to goad people into writing--but I DO wish you wrote more often!)
