Geet: Ye rishta bhale hi itefaq se juda hai par iss rishte ko main kamiyaabi ki bulandiyon tak pauchakar rahungi' ye Geet Maan Singh Khurana ka vaada hai [We got into this relationship accidently but I will make sure that our relationship works to such an extent that it reaches the heights of success'This is the promise of Geet Maan Singh Khurana]

The whole day Geet was trying to think of a strategy through which she can make Maan realize the importance of relationships and true love. Finally she came to a conclusion that there is only way by which she can bring about a change in Maan and it was by showering him with her unconditional love

Yes it was true that initially she had decided that she will never let Maan realize that she loves him but that time the situation was different she was just a friend who wasn't sure if at all she will find a place in his life or not but now she was his legally married wife and she had the right to claim Maan'Destiny had shown her the way and now she had to give her best fight to win Maan and in this battle her most loyal weapon was her unconditional love for Maan

After analyzing Maan's behaviour she realized that Maan has become completely materialistic since somewhere or the other he has been deprived of true love; she always knew that Naintara will use him as a puppet but she never interfered in Maan's life and his way of thinking as she never felt that she had the right to claim him

But now she knew Maan was all hers and she will never share Maan with anyone' She was sure that Maan never loved Naintara it was a simple case of infactuation'how could he fall in love with someone when he himself never knew the true meaning of love?

She looked at her mangalsutra lovingly and kissed it

Geet: Maan aapki iss soch ki zimedaar kuch hadh tak main bhi hoon maine aapke liye apne dil mein chupe hue pyar ko kabhi bhi bahar aane nahi diya par ab aur nahi Maan main aapko sachhe pyar ka ehsaas dilaungi aur aapko bataungi k aapki jagah Geet ki zindagi mein here motiyon se bhi zyada keemti hai'aap badlenge Maan mera pyar aapko zarur badal dega [Maan somewhere or the other I am also equally responsible towards your insensitive attitude as I never made u realize that I love u but now I won't hide my feelings I will make u realize the true beauty of love ..u will realize that ur place in Geet's life is more important than any precious stone'u will change Maan my love will force u to change]

Night

Maaneet's bedroom

Geet had replaced the cover of the bed with Maan's favourite colored sheet.

She had kept a glass of almond milk on the table and had arranged the entire room according to Maan's likings

She was just about to take her pillow and move on to the couch when Maan entered the room

Geet greeted him with a sweet smile

Maan: Kya baat hai aaj Nakul ne pehli baar iss rang ka sheet use kiya warna laakh martaba kyun na kahu usse main wo meri baat kabhi suntan hi nahi [Wow for the first time Nakul used this colored sheet otherwise how much ever times I tell him he will never listen to me]

Geet: Huh huh maine kaha tareef karni hai toh apni iss best friend ki kijiye [huh huh' I think u should praise your best friend and not Nakul]

Maan: Geet tumhara matlab hai ye sab tumne kiya? [Do u mean to say u r the one who has done all these arrangements?]

Geet: Ji haan [Yes]

Maan: Par tumhe ye karne ki kya zarurat thi Nakul kar detha [But what was the need for u to do all these things Nakul could have done this]

Geet: Ofho maine socha k ye mere best friend ka ghar hai aur waise bhi duniya k liye hi sahi hum dono husband wife hai toh ek achhi wife ko apne husband ki pasand na pasand toh pata hini chahiyena aur aapko mujhse zyada behter kaun jaanta hai bataiye koi naam zehen mein aata hai? [I thought this is the house of my best friend and as it is in front of the world we r a couple so it's a good quality of a wife to know the likes and dislikes of her husband and by the way Maan I am sure no one knows u better than me if I am wrong tell me the name of that person who knows u better than me]

Maan was silent for a second he thought of taking Naintara's name but he knew that Naintara never asked him about his likes and dislikes she always wanted him to make money and concentrate on his career infact this innocent question of Geet forced Maan to think of that one personal that he had lived with Naintara but alas he was unable to find any sweet memories

Geet: Achha usse chodo ye lijiye Badaamwala dudh aap raat ko sone se pehle lethe hona toh maine pehle hi ready rakha hai [Okay leave that here is your almond milk you drink it every night before going to sleep so I kept it ready before hand]

Maan: Badamwala dhoodh? [Almond milk?]

Geet: Dekh toh aise rahe ho jaise k pehli baar peenewale ho jaanti hoon jaanti hoon badi achhi acting karlethe ho par Mr. Khurana ye acting mere saamne nahi chalnewali main ache se jaanti hoon jab tak aap badaamwala dhoodh nahi pee lethe aapko raat ko neendh nahi aati [U r looking at me as if this is the first time u would be taking an almond milk I agree Mr. Khurana that u r a great actor but your acting skills won't work in front of me as I am aware that u won't be able to sleep until and unless u take a sip of this almond milk]

Maan had a different emotion in his eyes. He went and sat on the bed besides Geet

Geet: Dekh kya rahe hai aap jab hum flat share karte the har raat main hi toh aapke liye ye dudh banaya karti thi haan ab ek saal beeth chukka hai par iska ye matlab nahi k mere haath ka bana hua dhudh achha nahi hoga peekar dekhiye I m sure aapko pasand aayega [Why r u giving me such looks remember I was the one who used to make this milk for u every night when we used to share that flat I agree it has been 1 long year since then but that doesn't mean that the taste of my hands have changed I am sure u will love this milk]

Maan took the glass and drank the whole milk in one go

Geet: Are waah Maan pehle toh aap itne jaldi kabhi dhoodh peethe nahi the aaj ek hi jhatke mein pee gaye kuch khaas wajah? [Wow Maan u never used to drink the milk so fast but today u had it in just one go what's the reason Maan?]

Maan: Aaj ek saal baadh dudh pee raha hoon Geet aur wo bhi kayi dino baad kisine itne pyar se pilaya hai pata nahi kyun achha lag raha hai [I am drinking milk after one year Geet and that too for the first time someone has made me drink the milk with so much love dunno why but I am feeling good]

Geet: Ek saal baad Maan aapko toh dudh k bagair neendh aathi hi nahi hai toh aap raat ko soothe kaise the? [Maan u can never sleep until and unless u have a glass of almond milk then what were u doing to gain sleep during the past year?]

Maan recollected how Naintara had convinced him to take sleeping pills as she had clearly stated that she doen't have sufficient time to arrage this stupid milk for him

Maan: Neend ki goliyaan letha hoon Geet aur haan kal se tumhe bhi takleef uthane ki zarurat nahi hai main neend ki goliyon se kaam chala lunga [I take sleeping pills Geet and yes u need not bother from tomorrow I can manage with the sleeping pills]

Geet: Letha hoon nahi lethe the aur waise bhi issmein takleef ki kaunsi baat hai ye toh mera roz ka routine hai [U were taking sleeping pills Maan but from henceforth this won't occur and by the way this is not any problem to me as I am used to it infact this is a part of my daily routine]

Maan: Kya matlab? [I didn't get u?]

Geet: Maan ye sach hai k hume ek dusre se bhijde hue ek saal ho gaya paraapke liye main job hi kiya karti thi wo aadate aaj bhi nahi badlii infact har raat main aapke liye badam dhoodh banathi thi par tab ehsaas hotha tha k aap mere kareeb nahi ho phir ye sochkar khush ho jaathi thi k aap jaha bhi ho iss waqt aapne ye dhudh zarur piya hoga bus phir aapke hisse ka dudh main pee jaathi thi aur issi bahane yun lagta tha jaise k aap mujhse dur nahi balki mere nazro k kareeb ho [Maan I agree that we did not come face to face for 1 whole year but I couldn't stop myself from doing the things that I used to do for uy when we were together every night I used to make this milk but then it used to strike that u r no longer with me but then I used to be happy thinking that at this point of time u would surely be taking your milk and by drinking the milk on your behalf I used to feel that u r still with me in front of my eyes]

Maan was experiencing some strange sensation' he never knew that he was so special for someone

Geet: Par main aapko ye kyun bol rahi hoon I am sure aapko bhi toh meri yaad aathi hogi na atleast ek second toh pure saal mein aisa zarur aaya hogana jismein aapko apni Geet ki yaad aayi hogi? [But why am I telling u this I am sure u have also missed me a lot atleast there might me a small second in the entire year where u thought of me atleast once?]

Maan was moved by this innocent question of Geet. He was not a man who would care for someone's emotions or rather it appeared that he was a heartless fellow but today these few moments that he had spent with Geet had awaken a different Maan in him

It was true that he never missed Geet but for unknown reasons he did not gather the courage to break the expectations that he could read in those twinkling eyes of Geet

It seemed he could see a hidden pain behind her smile

Maan: Ek second kyun Geet pure saal ka har ek din maine tumhari yaad mein guzara aakir tum iss Maan ki special Geet hona? [Why only a second Geet I remembered u in every moment in every day as u r the special friend of your Maan right?]

Geet: Haan wo toh main hoon [Yes I am]

Geet knew this was not the truth but she got happiness after hearing his words

Geet: (thinking) Jhooth hi sahi Maan aaj pehli baar tumne mere jasbaatho ko tes na pauche iss liye jhooth ka sahara liya'mere liye tumhara ye ek jhooth duniya k sabse bade sach se bhi badkar hai' tumne ye jhooth kehkar mujhe yakeen dila diya k tum pattar dil nahi ho bus tumhe pyar ki zarurat hai aur ye pyar main tumhe dungi [This false statement of yours is much greater than the biggest truth of this world as for the first time u feared hurting my emotions by your one truth and hence u decided to hide it from me' ur this act has once again proved me right that u do possess a kind heart but u have been deprived of love which has made u what u r today but Maan I promise to shower u with my love to such an extent that u will realize the true meaning of this emotion]

Geet took a pillow and started walking towards the couch

Maan: Geet tum waha kyun jaa rahi ho? [Geet why r u going over there?]

Geet: Maan ab tumhe kis baat ka darr hai yaha toh koi bhi humpar nazar rakhne k liye nahi hai toh hume ye husband wife ka drama karne ki kya zarurat kyunki tumhare language mein kaha jaate toh hume publicity nahi milegi iss liye tum aaram se bed par leto aur main couch par so jaathi hoon [Why r u getting worried no one is here right now to keep an eye on both of us so there is no need of behaving like husband and wife hmmm.. to be more precise in your language we won't gain any publicity so u I am going to sleep on the couch and u can take the bed]

Maan: Geet tum paagal ho gayi ho yaad hai ek baar tumhara accident ho gaya tha aur doctor ne strictly ye instructions diye the k jab bhi tum letogi tab ek proper resting position maintain hona chahiye aur tum couch par sone jaa rahi ho main aisa hone nahi dunga [Geet r u crazy do u remember that u had met with an accident in the past and the doctors had strictly instructed u to maintain a proper resting position whenever u sleep otherwise it can lead to some problems and u r going to sleep on the couch no way I am not going to allow this]

Geet did not expect this from Maan

Geet: Maan aapko ye baat yaad hai? [U still remember this thing?]

Maan himself was shocked how did he recollect this incident all of a sudden?

Maan: Wo chodo Geet yaha aau aur bed par so jaau [Leave that Geet come and lie down on the bed]

Geet: Rehne dijiye Maan aapko takleff hogi main yahi theek hoon [Its okay Maan it will be troublesome for u I will manage]

Maan: Tum aise nahi maanogi [U r not going to listen to me so easily]

Without any warning he goes and scoops Geet in his arms and takes her to the bed

He places her gently on the bed and takes the pillow and starts walking towards the couch

Geet: Maan aap chahe toh mere saath bed share kar sakthe hai main aapko kha nahi jaayungi itna toh bahrosa kar hi sakthe haina apni Geet par [Maan if u want u can share the bed with me don't worry I won't eat u; u can definitely trust ur Geet atleast this much]

Maan: Par Geet [But Geet]

Geet: Ohfo agar itna hi problem hai toh ek kaam kijiye uss pillow ko humare beech mein rakh dijiye bed ka ye hissa mera aur wo hissa aapka phir toh koi aitraaz nahi haina aapko agar phir bhi koi problem hai toh rehne dijiye main couch par hi so jaathi hoon [Oho if u r really thinking about this so much then do one thing keep that pillow as a partition between the two of us this side of the pillow belongs to me and that side belongs to u and if u still have any issues then I feel it is better that I go and sleep on the couch]

Maan: Mujhe manzoor hai [I have no problem]

Maan makes himself comfortable on the bed

Geet: Good night Maan

Maan: Good night Geet

Geet was really happy as she was successful in breaking a small brick of Maan's stonehearted existence. She was just about to close her eyes when she heard Maan's voice

Maan: So gayi kya Geet? [Have u slept?]

Geet: Nahi ab tak toh nahi [No not yet]

Maan: Ek saal baad mili ho apne dost k saath kuch baate nahi karogi? [We r meeting after one long year won't u chat with ur friend for sometime]

Geet had a victorious smile on her face'she knew she was on the right track her one small step had brought a major change in Maan

She got up happily and both of them continued chatting with each other forgetting the limits of time 'for that small moment Geet was successful in bringing back the hidden Maan from the personality of MSK'maybe this was the first step towards the start of a new journey but'.😕😕😕

PRECAP : Maan: "Main toh ye bhool hi gaya tha Geet k mujhe shehed ye allergy hai par tumhe yaad raha wo bhi itna waqt guzrene k baawajood? [I myself did not remember that I am allergic to honey but this wasn't the case with u; u remember everything even after such a long duration of separation]

Geet: " Jo dil k kareeb hothe hai unhe ye faasle aapse dur leja nahi sakthe aur aap toh mere best friend hona aapse judi hui har baat yaad hai mujhe aur marte dum tak yaad rahegi [Distance and time cannot separate your close ones from u; I remember every small and big thing associated with u and I will never forget these things till the last breath of my life]
