Geet sat on her beach chair looking at the view ahead of her. She sipped her juice in peace. A happiness spread through her body but still it couldn't translate to her face. Something was missing...the same feeling she has been feeling for the past one month. She should be joyful that she had managed to escape from the devil himself..the ruthless king that everyone feared, the same king no one defied him BUT her...she dared to go against his rules, played with his feelings just like he does with everyone, made him know that SHE is NOT his puppet but then why does she not feel happy of her accomplishments?
She goes back inside the house, her small little cottage in Goa where she resides alone...she looks at her and Vicky's picture, whenever she passes by it...guilt spread across her face...not one day passes by where she doesn't think about him..she always wondered how he is doing at the very moment she looks at his picture...is he happy? Does he eat well?
She had hoped that she was able to take him away from the hell hole like she promised to herself but alas the devil made sure he is as far away from her as possible. She still remembers the day he took her from him..the last time she saw Vicky, the last time she talked to him...all she sees is his crying face, begging to be let go but HE did not listen...he sent him away..far away from her as possible...he sent away the only person she genuinely cared for, the only person that made her laugh and smile...now she has no one..thanks to him...
Geet lies down on the bed closing her eyes...remembering the moments that led her to her escape...
After talking to Vicky about Maan, she goes toward Maan's room knowing he is home. She could smell his cologne from miles away...his presence alone makes her feel like she is surrounded by nothing but darkness...she hoped that her plan of talking good about Maan in front of him will make him realize she has truly "changed"...she slowly opens the door to see him pacing back and fourth with anger. What else is knew...she never saw him smile, she wondered if he even know what smile meant...Of course not, answering her own question, a person like him don't know anything else besides from how to cause pain to others...
She makes her way inside with a huge smile hoping to "calm" him down a little and of course being oblivious to the fact that the heard her talking. He stops pacing as soon as she steps into the room. She goes near him, slowly raising her hands toward his tie..she loosens it a little bit, helping him to take it off...he looks at her actions confused...no one ever showed this much care for him before...he holds her hands tightly stopping her just before she could take his tie off...
Geet: What happened?
Maan: Do you take me as a fool?
Geet (looks at him confused) What do you mean?
Maan (holds both her arms tighter) DO YOU THINK I AM A FOOL! (he shakes her)
Geet: No..why would you say that? (She was really confused now..she was expecting a different behavior from him after him listening to her conversation but he proved her again how unpredictable he can be) What did I do?
Maan: I can defend myself..I don't need YOU or ANYONE else to defend me and my name
Geet: What are you talking about?
Maan (pushes her against the wall, places his hands on either side of her head...) What were you telling to Vicky about me? Why?
Geet (looks straight into his eyes with little bit of fear but nonetheless she took her stand...she wasn't scared of him that much anymore not after what he has done to her again and again) that he shouldn't be mad at you...
Maan: Why?
Geet: Just like that...because he is your brother and he cares for you...I don't want him to hate you...(she raises her hand to touch his face but his one angry look makes her stop in the middle...Maan backs up a little...)
Maan: Hate? Why should he hate me and for what?
Geet: You are the only person he looks up too...have you ever considered that maybe by showing him some love he will understand? He just wants you to pay attention to him...
Maan: love? I was not taught to love, I was taught on how to rule and this has been working quiet well for sometime now.
Geet: Then maybe its time someone show you what love is...
She grabs his collar and kisses him on his lips. Maan had his eyes open in shock..she tightly wraps her arms around his neck..after few seconds..Maan pushes her against the wall putting all of his weight on her while responding back...his hands move down to her waist sending her some shivers...)
Geet opens her eyes after remembering that moment...
"Why am I thinking about him so much? I wanted to get out of that place and with the help of Dadima I am out..." She pats her stomach "But I am not alone...I will not let him find out about where I am...if he finds out that I am pregnant then he will turn my kid into him...I will not let that happen..." She goes to the kitchen to make some dinner for herself...the doctor had advised her to eat well and not to take too much stress...she didn't want to take any chance when it came to her baby...she followed whatever orders the doctor gave her..." She smiled to herself as she remembered her talks with Vicky..she missed him..."One day Vicky...I will have enough money to see you in London...I hope you take care of yourself Vicky.
