Well, well, well - this was a pleasant surprise!

I came on here to read part 7 as I'd read it earlier but in a hurry so hadn't commented. Came here to read and decided to read part 6 again, and read 7, and what do I see ... part 8 is posted!! Yay ...

Sooo, am I happy with her character? Yes, I am.

I like how you've taken the tables and sort of turned them:

She started off as a character who had no one to turn to and yet decided to go out in the world alone. That took courage, as she wasn't strong enough to make it on her own (financially, socially, even physically). Then we saw her gain the strength in all but the physical aspect in one night. I realize it put some of us off, but you did well by narrowing in on her inner turmoil - thereby showing us a vulnerable Khushi, a Khushi dying to forgive so she could be with her Laad Governer. And that's what I meant by turning the tables.

And the Laad Governer in question -

I liked how you had him still not comprehend the reasons behind her requests, behind her erratic behavior. It was great to see misunderstanding fuel itself!

The clincher, of course, was the line about his realization that she had "wanted to forgive" ... yes, THAT is the Khushi I wanted.

The forgiver has the power, unlimited power. You gave us that perspective of the story, thereby showing us her strength. And then you showed us an accepting Arnav - a defeated but 'not for long enough to not show up to congratulate her' Arnav. That was the strength of his character.

So, all in all - I liked how the characters have shaped out. Very nice.

And I loved seeing a vulnerable part of her. No, I dont' mean teh sad part, the part where she cries or whenever we see a hurt Khushi. The part where she WANTED to forgive, the desperation in teh desire to forgive so she COULD move on. Ahhh, the pain.

Oh well.

No, I'm not wondering if he's dead or not. I'm HOPING he's not. I'm looking forward to the next part! Just don't have them confess and profess on his death bed ... and have him magically come alive ... that would be too Karan Johar-ish.

OHH WOWWW... WA AN UPDATE.. IMAD N ANJALI SOUNDS LOVELY TO MEE... POOR IMAD, NOT HIS MISTAKE AS HE DINT KNO NOR ANJALI'S... ARNAV N KHUSHI AT RIFT AGAIN.. OH GOD...!! SOO TYPICAL OF THEM.. CANT THY JUST TOK STRAIGHT N FINISH IT ALL... N FOR THE LAST PART, IM SURE HE'LL B FINE.. RIGHT?? EEKS.. HEHE... THNX FOR THE PM.. :)

Awesome, awesome update loved the line you wrote 'don't turn your back on love' very deep thoughts.

Kushi lashing out on Arnav was beautifully written as for Arnav being jealous and bitter - oh love is pain and pain is love.

👏👏👏 Can't wait for chapter 9 thank u for the pm

Interesting chapter...
It was really well written as always and the twists and turns in this FF and chapter are unpredictable.

The fight and what she said was heartbreaking as well as the fact that he walked away thinking that he'd lost her for good and that she'd never forgive him. Oh Arnav all she wants is for you to say sorry and without a doubt she'll instantly forgive you.

The accident at the end now that I totally didn't expect. I hope Arnavs okay

OMG how many people noticed Khushi's stone heart comment today? I totally felt vindicated for writing it before in this piece. My Khushi is in character.

Mary...just read the last 2 updates...so much heartache...now Arnav's accident too!!😭 is this the eye opener that both need...or a prelude to loads of loneliness?
