well,its da 1st time am reading a FF,hv nvr read an OS/FF,so i dnt knw hw da comments work on da thread,therefore i'll coment ovr afew thgs dat caught my attention n vl mention 'em in a single post,as i read all da chps today,in a single reading..n since its 5am here,i hardly hd time to go thru othr's comments so i really dnt knw wt hv been da discussions n wt exactly wr da msg of da writer to hr readers,so wtevr i'll say here vl b purely frm da heart n cn b ABSURD too,as am terrible wth symbols,may b u cn teach me hw to interpret thm,in da future😉..ok so my selective tk on thgs is;
1..luvd da FF!! i ddnt knw they cud b so exciting.i luv reading books n especially classics,altho i ,nw,dnt get so much time to continue my hobby,bt seems ur FF wud fill in da gap.
2..mansions,castles,fields,lords n their reign , i cudnt luv it more! luvd it dat ur FF hs gothic-classic touch to it,it cudnt get better for me than dat.bt sumhw all dis reminded me of Mr.Rochester of Jane Eyre.strange hw i cudnt relate arnav to hm earlier altho he's quite lyk hm in many ways,altho arshi relation alws made me thnk; Pride n Prejudice. bt ur mansion n fields just took me to anothr character i luv so much.
3..da symbolism b/w da real scenes n ur story's situations r understandable n evn admirable as they r smartly thought n linked up. gud work!
4..there's a chance i myt b completely wrong here n may turn myself into a laughing stock,bt i wud still wnt to ask if am ryt or its more thn wt i hv understood;
i.e; i cudnt get it out of my mind dat in earlier chps u mentioned da rose bush n its also da title of ur story,cud it be arnav's heart u r refering to? i mean v knw he's got a heart of gold in reality n he hides it n da fact dat it ws closed n khushi cudnt find a way to it bt ws attracted towrds it at da same time coz of its beauty n uniqueness,n dat it ws covered by a fence n hr aproach to it enraged arnav so bad,coz she ws try'n to get near it n he doesnt lyk ppl try'n to discover hm??? and incase i ddnt knw da real arnav n gathering info 4rm wt ur story hd revealed abt hm so far,its well established dat he does knw luv n hw to luv altho hs way of expressing is different,thn such a person cnt b cold-hearted. coz no heart dat knws hw to luv cn b cold.n perhaps dats y evn in da play da same thgs tkn as a tower wch is precious to da lord. DO I MK SENSE?? OFCOURSE NT.! I'VE GONE MAD!! so ignore me,it probably means nthg🤪
5..n dat last part abt anjali,ws she goin to lose all hope n faith in lyf to da extent dat she wnted to die n only arnav's luv n care revived hr agn?? i dnt knw wt am say'n. i thnk i'll wait till u vl explain thg,am pathetic at it n i badly need to sleep nw.
