Burning Love
Rajat was watching TV,actually changing channels...his mind was busy in latest news that Mauli and Shahi are now
a days seeing together hand in hand at public places like Malls,parties etc.Latest buzz was that after breaking
up with Rajat,Mauli is more interested in Shahi's shows and his close friend the famous music director Manish
Jha.Every so often she visits his office along with Shahi,moreover Mauli had recently hired a secretery named
V.Gopalan who was known to Rajat's secretory Sridharan.As per sridharan Gopalan deals with all afairs of Mauli
with Manish jha.
Rajat was very much distressed by Mauli's that behavior.She was doing things secretley,not giving any clue to
him.."why the hell is she doing this to me...!!!" he closed his fist in anger and dialed Mauli's number...after
a few second he heard the latest song of Manish jha as a collar tune...his temper raised even more...
After a while she picked up,"Hey honey!how are u?" asked she in a delighted tone.
He tried to reply normally,"I am fine!you are sounding happy..."
"Yeah..things are going really by my side...will tell you when I'll be back..."she was about to hung up.
"Listen...I really wanna truth..."he said.
She dint say anything for a second,he was desperate to hear that she still loves him...an assurance from her
side would be enough for some days untill she returns.But she was quiet...he again said,
"C'mon now speak up..what's going on between you and shahi?"he asked directly.
She replied a bit irritated,"As I told u,nothing!!!"
"But..."he wanted to say something before that long beep tone made him know that call had been cut.
He went ballistic,his anger was on the top,throwing his phone on floor he screwed up in anger...he was frowning "Mauli...you B****!!! you have to pay for it...you *****..."
Mugdha rushed into the room hearing bumping sound ,seeing him like that she scared for a while then she reached
up to him ,shaking his shoulders she asked,
"What happened???tell me...Rajat...what happened?"
She forceably removed his palms under which he had hidded his face,she found him crying and full of sweat...she wiped his tears and sweat with her hands and gave him a glass of water,
he took it with trembling hands,she caressed his forhead,"Relax!"
After some time he came back in his senses and his fast frequent breaths got relaxed.
After he gulped some water,she took the glass from his hand and put the pillow behind his back so that he could layed on it,he hold her hand and make her to sit wit gestures...
She sat beside him..looking at his tired face questionably.
He was also looking at her ,his eyes were moist and the most painful thing was that they were hopeless...it pricked Mugdha somewhere in her heart,it was true that she somehow got rid of his thoughts but his pain and agony still affect her...!
"Mugdha..why can't be life always the same..."he asked painfully.
"Because its life!"said she.
He looked at her a bit stunned on her immediate and straight answer yet he knew that he deserved that...
"Can't we just go back in time and live there forever..the same you...my jungli billi...the same me...your monkey...can't we just..."and his throat chocked.
"Its not possible...better that you fight with present,fight for happiness..."said she.
"why people are so heartless...so mean!"he almost cried out.
"you should ask it to yourself Rajat..."said she and forcefully stopped tears which were about to come.He had touched her vulnerable side...why you were so heartless rajat..when you broke my heart..why...!!! her heart screamed in pain yet she composed herself.
Rajat was feeling guilt...he knew that he had broken her heart..."I am sorry!"he said huskily.
"So what's d plan?"asked she to change the topic.
"I don know...we can arrange a party on my discharge and then I will introduce you as my 'special' friend who have saved my life...in front of media..."said he.
"Cool!!!" said she.
Rajat looked at her stunned,'cool!!!' what was that...as per his knowledge of girls he knows that girls use these kinds of words when they hide real feelings and do not want to drag the discussion...
"You find it worthworking.."he asked
'Lets see...but for introduction,its good!"said she.
"okay...so I need to ask doc when is he going to discharge me..."
"I'll ask...you take rest.."said she and rushed into the lobby where she could cry easily without any explainations as why is she crying...when she don love him..when she don feel anything for him..when she...when she... and she found her strong heart melting on remembering his face,his tears and his agony...tears came out of her eyes and her conception that she had moved on again proved to be wrong..!
