First of all a big thank you for the lovely comments . It sure brought a smile on my face.
I am sorry for the late updates. Had to rewrite a few times to delve better in the story. Hope i haven't disappointed anybody with this part.
PART 2
Darkness had draped the entire city. She was treading the empty road all alone, fearless and happily.
Then suddenly she heard footsteps that didn't belong to her.She stopped short , and turned around.
He was watching her intently ,grinning away at her sight. He started to take his steps towards her. Khushi trembled violently,unable to think through her frozen thoughts.
Another step . She retraced her feet , her heart ponding sharply. 'How could he be here? '
Turning around she began to run . He followed her, like a tiger on a hunt. She kept running, her eyes shut tightly, and fear engulfing her every cell. Her feet gained speed ,pulsating against the rocky road.
Arnav stood in the distance helplessly watching the chase. He tried to move , but his legs seemed to be planted into the ground.
'He had to save khushi from that vileman,he had to be beside her ', his voice roared in his head .Why couldn't she see him or worse still why couldn't she hear him? '
The sight was dreary.She kept running blindly through her bleeding feet , whilst the tears meandered overher face. There was no way to stop him from lunging at her,no way...
Why can't i move?, he yelled but his voice choked in his throat.
And then his shot open, his body shaking violently over this dreadfuldream. Mopping his sweat he walked towards her...

"Wh-what about him?", her voice shook with confusion and fear.
He couldn't think of a way to get the answers he desperately needed now. Was he wrong about her all along this time? What had happened and most importantly, why?
"khushi, what was happening on that night?", he inquired, gulping down his anger and pain.
"When? which night?", her mind clattered over his question.
"On -on the terrace? on the wedding night?", he closed his eyes, preparing himself to an answer that would break him completely or seal his wounded heart forever.
Her blood froze like ice. 'How had he brought himself to ask this? what had made him question her? Had he seen everything?'
she couldn't believe her worst fear was coming to life. It was shyam who had created the gap between arnav and her and worked to widen it.
Khushi knew that today was the day she had to tell him. The truth needed to be out.
Would he believe her?
The dream had haunted him for the past few weeks. It was the same scene that played like a recording every night. At first he never pondered over it. But then it had started to snatch away his nights.It meant something.
Today he would know the meaning...
He patiently waited for her to answer wishing this nightmare would come to an end. She closed her eyes, drawing in a deep breath.
In the next few minutes , the entire story reached his ears. Everything..
