Hi friends….. I'm sorry I've been very busy….. I dint have the time to come online….. probably it'll get worse as the week progresses….. so I decided I'll give you'll a short update….. after all, something is better than nothing.😉

Part 30

I shouldn't be here….. this was a bad idea!!... Shakti paced outside Amar's room….. cracking her knuckles….. why the hell did Vivek ask me to do this?!!... couldn't he ask one of his cousins?... and what's with the condition that I'm not suppose to share this with anyone else but Kunwar??... she knew she could have said a straight 'No, I'm sorry'….. but she hadn't….. she closed her eyes….. took a deep breath and knocked at the door.

She shifted her weight from one foot to the other….. waiting….. Nobody answered….. she frowned….. she knew Amar was inside or at least that's what she had assumed after their Haldi holi session that he would be here to straighten up….. she had even made sure Archie and Shantanu had left the room before she came….. which was not so difficult when it comes to these guys' obsession for Aloo Parathas for breakfast.

She knocked at the door again….. a little harder this time.

The door swung open….. A wet haired Amar stared at her, his face partially covered in shaving cream…. One hand remained on the doorknob….. the other casually bunched the edges of a towel at his waist….. hell!!….. this was indeed a very bad idea!

Amar- hi

Shakti- umm…. Hi

It was more like a squeak….. he bit his lower lip trying to hold his smile….. he raised an arm and leaned against the doorjam.

Amar- to what do I owe this pleasure? (wink)

She blinked….. realizing she was gaping!!….. staring at those broad shoulders, the gorgeous ripples of muscles running from his chest to his flat stomach….. she dint dare to look further….. she could smell the lingering traces of his shampoo…. Oh my!! he looked delicious!!…… she gulped hard.

Shakti- I….. (cleared her throat) I wanted to talk to you.

Amar- sure…. come on in.

He moved back to let her in….. she looked at him, her eyes wide.

Shakti- No!!... I'll wait here.

Amar- (chuckled) you can come in Shaks….. I'm not going to change in front of you….. I'll be using the bathroom.

Shakti- oh (phew)

He did not wait for her….. left the door open and walked to the bathroom….. she hurried inside and shut the door, making sure nobody saw her.

She quietly looked around and gasped…… it felt like a cyclone had hit this place!!... the room was a mess!!... all their clothes, shoes, bags, toiletries lying around in different directions….. she eyed a lone sock and wondered where his poor partner could be….. she decided she had to sit…. Her legs were wobbly….. was it because of the room's condition or Amar, she couldn't tell…. She made her path from the mess to reach the bed….. that was the only place she actually found empty….. she went over and sat down….. and swore to think twice before she entered any guy's room.

After a while she heard the bathroom door open and she turned around….. he stepped out wearing a pair of faded jeans….. which was about it….. yet again No shirt!... did this guy have a phobia of clothes?

Amar smiled at her and walked upto her and flopped down on the bed next to her.

Amar- ya so tell me?

Shakti- (gulped) don't you own a shirt?

She looked at the mess and sighed.

Shakti- ya I'm sure it's difficult to find one here.

He laughed and laid back on his elbows.

Amar- do you even know that girls can kill to see me like this.

Shakti- (roll eyes) ya right!!

Amar- so you are trying to tell me, that this does not affect you?

Shakti- (grunted) haa…. Keep dreaming.

She was glad he had skewed back….. she dint want him to see her face, which she was sure had turned crimson red.

He climbed on the bed and kneeled down behind her….. his face close to her neck.

Amar- Are you sure? (huskily)

He planted a kiss at the throbbing pulse below her ear.

Shakti- hmmm

Her eyes slid shut and she leaned back on his chest….. he ran his hand on her arm and threaded her fingers with his….. he nibbled on her earlobe….. she groaned and tilted her head….. he tossed her hair to one side and rubbed his nose along the sides of her throat, inhaling her scent.

Amar- Shaks?

He continued to work his magic with his lips and hands….. one nibbling her collar bone and other creasing her arms.

Shakti- hmmm?

Amar- can you please pass me my t-shirt?

Shakti blinked her eyes open….. she pulled away from him with a jerk….. she looked around her with dizzy eyes and realized she was sitting on his t-shirt….. she quickly got up and walked to the door….. she stopped at the door before opening it….. without turning back, she said

Shakti- I need to talk to you….. meet me at the terrace in 10min….. and for God Sake, please be fully dressed!

And she stumbled out of the room as soon as she could…. Silently cursing Vivek.
