Hi everyone...here is the next chapter...i know..i know its been so long since i last updated...but what to do... i literally had a brain freeze...i couldn't decide to move the story forward...i had to ideas in mind...couldn't decide which one to work on...and on top of that my new semester started...too much work load...but as it said...i should give any excuses...so i'm really sorry for updating this long..and i welcome your jutas and chaplas for that...

I have seen few new readers on this forum...i welcome you all...hope you have a great time here...enough of my talks now...please ignore any typos...enjoy the chapter!!!

Chapter 6

As soon as they entered the room, piya turned swayam, so that he was facing her now...what happened sam, with concern clearly visible in her eyes and voice...

Swayam: nothing...don't worry about me sunshine...you must be tired...go freshen up and get yourself some sleep...

piya: don't divert the topic sam...i know something is bothering you...and that not from today...its ok if you don't want to share it with me...but im always there...you can talk to me whenever you feel like it...please sam...let it out...you will feel better...

swayam: i know...i know...he said still involved in his deep thoughts...i know you are there...at least you are...

piya: at least...??

Swayam: huh...nothing...
he brushed away his thoughts and asked her to go freshen up while he moved forward and sat on his bed...saying her food will get cold by the time she comes back, if she didn't hurry up...

she looked at him one last time before proceeding towards the washroom...a moment later she called his name...sam can you please pass me a towel...i forgot...

Swayam: you will never change...will you??

Piya: why would i change...when i know you are there...

he just smiled at her innocence and passed her a towel...she came out of the washroom after about fifteen minutes and asked him to go freshen up...like an obedient child he followed her orders.

…...

when he came back after an hot shower of about half an hour he saw he sitting in the middle of the bed reading a book...though he was surprised to see her reading a novel...he didn't comment on it and just walked forward to put away his towel...

she looked up to see him coming out of the washroom and then staring at her with surprised look for a moment and moving ahead...she could sense that the water has taken away some of his tension...she took in his relieved form but she could still feel that he was hiding something from her...but decided to leave it for later...
he came back after a while and sat beside her on the bed and looked at her questioningly.

what??she asked...
Swayam:nothing...
piya: no...go ahead...tease me about reading a book...say it that the person who made fun of novels is reading one herself
swayam: you are the one saying that...not me...
piya: like you didn't want to...
with that she took a pillow from the bed and hit him on his head...he reacted to it in the same manner...she was happy to see him smiling genuinely after a long time...and gave herself a pat on her back for succeeding in her plan to lighten up his mood...

after some time...their fight ended and piya sat back in her place still laughing...while swayam came down and placed his head in her lap closed his eyes and said...
swayam:thanks...
piya:thanks??
swayam: thanks for changing my mood...what did you think i didn't know
piya bit her tongue at that but replied saying: there is no sorry and thanks between friends...and from when on did you start saying thanks to me??...

swayam just turned towards her waist and hugged her tight...she just smiled as laid her head on the bed rest and closed her eyes...they were talking about their past memories when they both dozed off to sleep...

Kaka came in to check on them to see why they haven't come to eat...as he entered the room...he smiled to himself seeing the sight in front of him.

they were still in the same position...piya's head resting on the bed rest and swayam resting his head in her lap...

kaka slowly closed the door making sure not to disturb them...

…...

it has been 5 hours since they both dozed off to sleep but they still didn't wake up but kaka didn't bother to wake them up as he knew that they must be tired. he hadn't seen swayam sleeping like for ages now plus it was a sunday the next day so it didn't matter if their sleeping pattern was changed for a day.

it was 9 at night and he was just about finished his work when he heard the doorbell right...at first he thought it was his imagination but when it rang the second time...he realized it was real...so he moved to check who could be here this late...

when he finally opened the door he saw a beautiful girl standing there with apologetic look on her face...
kaka: beta aap??
sharon: uncle main sharon hoon...swayam ghar par hai...woh mujhe usse se kuch kaam tha...maine phone bhi kiya tha par vo apna phone receive nahin kar raha...
kaka: haan beta...wo so raha hai...shayad isliye usne tumhara phone nahi uthaya...tum yahan baitho main unhe utha ke aata hoon...tum kuchh lo gi bete??
sharon: nahi uncle...aap mujhe uska room kahan hai bata dijiye mai khud chali jaon gi...
kaka: theek hai beta...uska room vo vala hai...he said pointing towards the room on the far left corner of the house...
sharon nodded and moved towards his room...
as she entered his room...she was shocked to see the sight in front of her...she has never seen swayam this close to anyone and now all this all of a sudden was taking a toll on her emotions.

while...the sound from the moving door disturbed their sleep...on one hand swayam just stirred in his sleep and hugged piya even closer...on the other hand piya's sleep was disturbed enough from these action to wake her up...

she slowly opened her eyes and noticed sharon standing at the door motionlessly. she quietly motioned sharon to take a seat on the bed, making sure not to disturb swayam in any way.

sharon quietly moved forward and took her seat at the edge of the bad...piya told her make herself comfortable...sharon just followed what she was told and brought her feet up and sat cross legged on the bed...

piya asked sharon about what brings her here at time of the day...
to which she replied telling her about the report that RDX sir has asked them to complete and email to him before tomorrow 9am.
Piya: oh...
she was about to wake up swayam so that they can finish their work...but as she touched his face she noticed that his face was wet and extremely cold...
piya: Sam!!!...Sam wake up...you need to wake up now! she said with concern in her voice...

sharon noticed the change in piya's voice and looked over to see what brought that change...she was creasing swayam forehead with a towel, and was trying to wake him up...

sharon looked at swayam with concern written all over her own...she noticed that his face looked paler than usual as if he was having a nightmare...she moved her hand to touch him but jerked it back the moment she realised what she was doing...

piya was still trying to wake him up when he sat upright with a jerk and mumbled kriya, breathing heavily...even though sharon was sitting close to him she didn't catch him calling kriya's name but piya did, and the moment she heard that name she realized that this name was the reason of his worry.
swayam didn't notice sharon...as he was too deeply involved his thoughts...piya turned him so that he was facing...she cupped his face and asked him if he was ok...to which he just nodded...piya took a the glass of water from the side table and passed it to him...

swayam took a sip from it when he noticed sharon sitting there staring at them...it took him a moment to realize that she was actually there and he was not imagining her. he almost dropped the glass in his hand but caught it just in time.

Swayam: sharon tum yahan?
sharon: haan vo RDX sir ko kal subah tak report khatam karke deni hai...tum phone nahi utha rahe the to...
Swayam: oh...
theek hai chalo hum bahar chal kar baat karte hain...
sharon nodded...and they were about to get off the bed when piya pulled swayam back down and gave him a tablet to eat before he leaves...
piya: yeh lo...iss se pehle ki tumhara sar dard se phat jaye..isse le lo...
swayam looked at her surprised...tumhe kaise...
mujhe sab pata hota hai...she replied mockingly...
swayam smirked at her comment and took the tablet out of her hand and was about to take it when kaka came into his room...
kaka: beta aap isse abhi mat li jiye...pehle kuch kha lo...tumne subha se kuch khaya nahi...isse tumhari sehat par bura assar ho sakta hai...aap sab aa jayie ga main khana lagata hoon...
this took sharon into deep thoughts...she wondered if she was the reason he didnt eat all day long...he did seem upset...and even now he looked quite disturbed...what could it be...what is bothering him so much...me...kria...swayam's voice brought her out of her thoughts...
swayam: ji kaka...
piya looked at him and said: kyun nahi khaya...vrat rakha hai kya mere liye...
swayam: you wish...
she just ignored his comment and got off the bed...gave him a serious look...grabbed his hand and led him out the door to the dinning table...sit she ordered...
piya: kaka...sam ka khana laayie ga pehle...
kaka: ji beta yeh lo...
swayam: sunshine, aap dono aise kyun behave kar rahe ho jaise ki main abhi abhi hospital aaya hoon...
piya: just shut up and have this... she took a spoonful of rice from his plate and fed him...
sharon who had followed them out...was now looking at the two in amazement...feeling the ease between the two...how she wished to be in piyas place now...wait what?? she corrected herself...no sharon...you are only work...work...that it...nothing less...nothing more...
swayam: keh to aise rahi ho jaise ki tum toh pura din kaye ja rahi thi...last time kab khaya tha...and don't worry...take your time...
she smacked him on his head for this...but his comment put her into though...it is then she realised that even she hadn't eaten since last night...not because she didn't feel like but just because she hated the plane food and she herself didn't know how to cook much...which left her with no option but to skip her breakfast...and by lunchtime she was sleeping peacefully...
...after completing her math...she look up to see swayam still looking at her...still waiting for her answer...she gave him a weak smile and looked away...
swayam: nahi khaya na...pata tha mujhe...
he grabbed the spoon out of her hand...filled it with rice and stuck in her mouth before she anything...
she looked at him with her eyes wide open...

by now kaka had brought the rest of the food on the dinning table...he laid out a plate and was about to arrange another one when piya asked: kaka yeh plate kiske liye...
kaka: beta vo sharon ne bhi to kuch nahi khaya hoga...dinner ka waqt ho gaya hai...to issi liye ek aap ki plate aur ek unki...
piya: ji kaka mujhe pata hai...par main aur sam to hamesha ek saath khate hain...to phir...
kaka: oh haan beta...sorry mere dimaag se nikal gaya...itne saal ho gaye aap ko yaha aaye hue...
piya: koi baat nahi kaka...
with that she invited sharon to the dinning table to eat, she was still standing close to them looking at them but lost in her own little world...
swayam: sharon??
he snapped his fingers in front of her eyes to bring her out of her terrace...
aao tum bhi khana kha lo...dinner ka time ho chuka hai...tumhe bhook lagi hogi na...
at first she thought of refusing but then, agreed thinking that he was indeed right...she was hungry...it was past her dinner time...she didn't realise how much time passed here...
she nodded in reply and took her seat opposite of swayam and piya...
sharon filled her plate with a lot of rice and little bit of rajma on the side...and then mixed the rice with dahi...and started eating...
piya noticed what she was doing and nudged swayam to see what she was looking at...he was surprised to see the sight in front of him...
sharon suddenly looked up and noticed both of them staring at her...she touched her face to check if anything was wrong with it...when she didn't find anything...she nodded her head in a question asking what was wrong...
piya was the first to come back to reality...while swayam was still busy looking at her...she pushed him a little to bring him out of his little world...he came back to his senses and looked away...
sharon: what happened...she asked looking at piya...
piya: nothing really...i just noticed a similarity between you and swayam...sorry for staring at you like that...
sharon:...no it ok...but similarity?? between me and...
piya: yeh...even sam likes to eat his rice like that...lots of rice mixed with dahi and little rajma on the side...
sharon: oh...really...i didn't know that before...
... from then they ate in silence...it wasn't an awkward one...they were just too involved in their food...

finally when they were done with eating as much as they could...swayam got up to put away the dishes when piya stopped him...
piya: aren't you forgetting something...
swayam: what?
piya: you know you can never take care of yourself...you will look after hundred people but completely forget about your own condition...
swayam: what did i forget now?? that you are showering me with such big lecture of yours
she handed him the tablet with a glass of water...
he grabbed it...and smiled at her before putting the tablet in his mouth...
...

sharon: swayam...are you alright...agar tum acha feel nahin kar rahe...to i can finish the report myself you should take some rest...
swayam: don't worry sharon...i'm feeling better now...we can work on it together...
sharon: r u sure??
Swayam: yeah...now lets start working otherwise we won't be able to complete it in time...
sharon: ok...where??
swayam: lets go in the living room...
they went to the living room...and took their places on the couches...sharon took out the material required to complete the report...after looking at it swayam realized that with the info that they had...the report could be done in an hour's time...with that they got to their divided share of work.

while on the other hand piya took their dishes to the kitchen...help kaka in cleaning them and in the remaining work,etc. she went in swayams room to change into something more comfortable but realized that her bags were still tied and locked...and she had no strength to open them...she also didn't want to disturb swayam and sharon as they were working so she just left it for later on when they all would be free and decided just to freshen up...

after a while she came back to the living room with the book she was reading earlier and took her place on other end swayams couch, made herself comfortable and started to read the book...swayam and sharon looked at her for a moment but then got back to their work...

...

it was almost twelve o'clock now and they were also the last sheet of their work...when piya got up from the sofa to put away her book and she went into the room...

As soon as swayam had hit the save button on his laptop's screen for their report...the electricity went out...
...he realized that piya was still inside and even she was scared of the dark...

awesome...loved sharon's insides getting topsy-turvy seeing the closeness of swayam and piya...swayam was dreaming abt kria///////...it was a rocking update...loved each and every bit of it...especially the dinner part and the bond that swayam and piya share...it was fun reading it/...
