Arnav was feeling elated and nervous... He stood in front of her saying almost in disbelief...
"You've agreed..."
Khushi was furious
"Just get on with it, i am not interested in dragging this out!"
Arnav's eyes burned her with his irritated gaze...he quickly came and sat down next to her...
Khushi tried to scoot away but Arnav gave her a look of warning..."Khushi, you agreed...remember?"
...so she stilled...and just looked at him...
"My first challenge is simple...sit next to me...let me hold your hand..."
Khushi gave him a confused look..."that is it?"
"That would be the first one..."
Khushi shook her head and moved back to sit next to him...he slid closer to her staring into her eyes...and took her hand into his...he held it so carefully, so gently...he intertwined their fingers and lifted her hand to his lips...he placed lingering kisses on each finger...
Khushi was bewildered...when he took her hand in his, she felt warmth spread inside her...but when he started placing kisses on her fingertips her heart started to beat faster...
Arnav slid his other hand up to her wrist and held her pulse...
He felt it quickening...
He continued to kiss her fingers letting his tongue glide over seductively...
When Khushi felt his other hand touch her wrist she felt her whole body heat up...having both his hands on her one hand brought her nerves to life...and she closed her eyes hoping to mask her reaction...
He saw her close her eyes...
He rejoiced inwardly at her response...
He hated to stop, but it was time...
"Khushi...you think that closing your eyes will hide your reaction?..."
Khushi's eyes flew open...and she tried to yank her hand away but failed as he held onto her firmly...
"I told you, I don't feel anything for you!"
"then why is your heartbeat racing..."
She looked down at her wrist...seeing his fingers resting on her fluctuating pulse...
This time Arnav let Khushi pull her hand away...
She looked away feeling flustered...
Arnav stood up slowly saying...
"And that was number 1..."
