ff update:(chp 11:A New Beginning)

Hi frndz' this is my first shot at a ff...hope u guys like it... all comments are appreciated...

the os is based on the current track(the one after the forced marriage) but the future is gonna be different... it is my fiction. all characters belong to the original creators of the amazing serial IPKKND.

Chapter 1: Shyam's game exposed
Arnav had just left khushi at her home for the phag phera rasams. She was not welcome to the gupta's anymore as they felt that she had ruined their family honor. Garima and Buaji had asked her to get out of their house because she had shamed their family name. khushi was really upset. Again and again she was reminded that she was an adopted orphan and never a real daughter like payal was to them. She could not take anymore and so in anger(for being called an orphan again and again) she called arnav.

Arnav picked up and asked "what do u want now?"

Khushi replied"you just come here and pick me up from this place.I cant stay here anymore"

Arnav: fine' I'll come and pick u up'

He reached the gupta house'there he came to know as to what had happened there all by looking into khushi's eyes' he wanted to feel happy seeing her cry like this but deep down he felt guilt' but he wanted to kill that feeling as he knew that khushi was the one responsible for shyam to be a cheat (or so he felt)

He took her home and left her in his room' just then he received a call from aman informing him that he had a meeting in an hour in his office. Arnav replied "ya I know aman. I never forget my meetings." And saying so he left' khushi who was confused completely after that day' her life had changed completely after arnav had put forth his terms of marriage' she thought that he liked her and so did she fall in love with him' but that day something had happened that she could not see' those soft eyes that were present in arnav when he kissed her were no longer there' they were replaced by Anger and blind rage' she had o idea what had happened that changed arnav so much'

Arnav brought her back to reality" why are you dreaming when I am talking to you?"

Khushi: what do you want?

Arnav: I am going for a meeting. Di is out to the doctors with nani,mamaji and mamiji. Akash is at work. So don't leave the house.

Khushi: ya fine'

Arnav then left for his meeting' then suddenly khushi's eyes fell on the file which arnav was supposed to take with him' she took it and ran after arnav to give it to him' when she got to the base of the stairs she heard a very heated and intense argument' when she concenterated, she recognized the voice to be arnav's and shyam's' she went forward and still hiding saw something she could not believe was actually happening'

Arnav was holding Shyam's shirts collar and both were arguing'

Khushi's jaw dropped as she witnessed the scene'

CHAPTER 2: Khushi's determination

Shyam: do u really think that you marrying khushi is going to change anything?

Arnav: I have already told you. Khushi is my wife. Don't even dare going near her. You told me that you both were in love and no one can come in between you. Now I will act like a wall between yours and khushi's love.

Khushi who heard all this felt as though someone had punched her hard in her stomach' she felt as though she was falling from a cliff'

Shyam: why sale sahib? We both love each other and you know love has no boundaries. No one can stand in front of true love'

Arnav: I am not no one. I am Arnav Singh Raizada and I have the power to write my and another's destiny. So "Jijajee" I will do anything in this world to save my di's marriage. I will do anything for my di's happiness'now get out of my way.

Shyam was getting angrier and angrier at arnav' and arnav had his cold anger look and shyam knew that arnav isn't a person whom he can take lightly because in arnav's case ASR meant serious business'

And then arnav let go of shyam's collar as he saw Anjali and everyone else had returned from the hospital after her checkup. arnav informed his di and left to his office...

khushi started to walk back to her room as she wanted to be alone and think'. She reached her room and closed the door..

Khushi: so arnav came to know about shyam. But why is shyam saying that I and he love each other.

And then it struck her' she knew that arnav may have come to know about shyam's true colors and shyam would have lied to arnav about their supposed love when arnav confronted him. Tears flooded her eyes as she couldn't control them.

khushi: how can arnavji think that I will have such a horrible character to fall in love with a married man. How can he believe that snake of a man and not even ask me once if it was true or not.

She felt her heart become heavy. As though she had lost something. Something that was very precious to her. She had lost Arnav to ASR. She remembered the time they spent before the marriage. How arnav danced with her, how he helped her serve food, his care and affection, the time he bought bangles for her. The look in his eyes then had so much love in them but now it was replaced by hatred.

Khushi: whatever happens. Now I will prove my innocence to arnavji if it's the last thing I do. Today when arnav returns from office I shall confront him and deal with this matter' I may be scared of arnavji's hatred right now but I have the power of truth on my side. I will prove my innocence as I cant stand it when someone thinks ill of my character...if he is ASR the I am KSR' I too have the power to change my destiny'

CHAPTER 3: Khushi Arnav Face Off

Arnav had returned from his office. His deal had gone well. But nowadays he had lost interest in his work. All he ever thought about was his di and her baby and of shyam and khushi. He had to fight everyday with himself the most. One side he cared for khushi and the other side he hated her because she loved shyam. Recalling the scene on the roof sent currents of rage through his body, his blood started boiling and yet he felt sad because he fell in love with her. This battle took its toll on arnav. But as always he had his mask of indifference on him showing that he didn't care.

He walked into his room to change and saw khushi. She looked different today. All the confusion in her eyes and face had now been replaced by pure determination.

Arnav got his clothes to go and change but khushi stopped him.

Khushi: I want to talk to you about something.

Arnav: I don't have anything to talk to you. So get out of my way.

Khushi: I refuse to move until I speak my mind.

Arnav: WHAT THE' how dare you? Who the hell do you think you are? Get the hell out of my way.

Khushi: I am your wife. I have the rights to talk to you openly.

Arnav: You know that this marriage means nothing to me. So I don't care.

Khushi: Either listen here or I'll use the same lines in front of your di' then you wont be able to stop me.

Arnav: Fine' speak and make it quick'

Khushi: I know the reason as to why you married me'

Arnav's face looked confused. He wasn't able to read her anymore. There was definitely something different about her'

Arnav: you know nothing so shut up'

Khushi: yes I do' you did it to save di's marriage' i ...

Arnav: ENOUGH' I will never let you and shyam get together' so don't think u can control me by you words'

Khushi: are you crazy? How can you think that I love him? Before taking this measure you could have at least asked me'

Arnav: do you think of me as a fool??? I can see through your lies and deception. I cannot trust anything you say' now get out of my way and stop wasting my time'

Arnav tried to dodge her and get away from her because her presence disgusted him and he could not tolerate standing near her'

Khushi: I wont let you leave Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada not until u listen to me completely'

There was a small physical tug of war where khushi was askin arnav to listen but to no avail. He just kept walkin away from her and khushi tried to stop him as she had to prove herself today. There were little tears in the corner of her eyes but today she had decided to stand her ground and make the blockhead ASR to listen.

In desperation and anger khushi tugged at arnav's arm and made him turn towards her and with all the energy she could muster she raised her hand and slapped him with everything she had' the sound was defeaning' it could even shatter a glass'

CHAPTER 4: Words Of War

She had sapped him right across the face. The frustration in her had reached its boiling point. No one will stop her today from proving her innocence.

Arnav was standing there shocked. He couldn't move nor could he react. He was completely silenced by khushi. He couldn't move nor could he speak.

Khushi was now talking with a raised voice.

Khushi: ENOUGH with your talk. Now I shall talk and YOU will listen to me.

Arnav was standing speechless' khushi now had his undivided attention'

Khushi: how can you think that I love shyam? Just because he said it? Couldn't you have asked me atleast once? But now I have to prove my innocence to you which I shall u make no mistake about that. But tell me this. I have to show proof about me telling the truth but you did not have any proof that I like shyam. You took his word for it even though you know him to be the biggest liar in the world?

Khushi was looking directly into arnav's eyes while she was talking as she wanted to make sure that whatever she said was seeping in, into that brain of his'

Khushi: as you know my first marriage had broken. Your di knows why' she knows that I broke my first engagement because the man whom I was engaged to was already a married man' she also knows that his name was shyam' yes SHYAM and it was none other than your jijaji SHYAM. I f I were in love with him I would have already married him' but no' I did not marry him and asked him to never come back into my life.

Khushi: I did not tell di about shyam's treachery because I didn't want to ruin her marriage much like you have done Mr Arnav Singh Raizada. That was my mistake that I thought that he will change. But he didn't. He kept coming after me again and again. What was I supposed to do? In the marriage ceremony I wanted to tell you about it but the news that di was pregnant came about and I thought I'll give that creep one last chance to save his married life.

Arnav who was listening to her all along froze' this was the same battle he had fought that day as to tell his di about shyam or not and decided against it to give shyam a last chance. He had started to think. Yes he clearly recalled khushi's marriage getting called off as she was very upset that day. Every time the gupta's saw or came near shyam they would always make disgusted faces and not talk directly to him at anytime.

Could he have made such a big mistake? Could he have made such a big mistake? Was the question buzzing in his mind again and again.

Khushi: If you had talked to me that day we could have cleared this then and there. But when you get angry you stop your mental reasoning. After all that we have been through. I wore the bangles that you bought for me, I selected a sari of your taste, didn't that tell you that I liked you. But it was my mistake. You don't deserve to be liked because you don't think about others. All you think is about getting to your means' it is always about what you want isn't it?

Arnav felt his heart sink. Her words were piercing his heart. He could actually feel the pain. He wasn't able to take anymore' he started to walk backwards still having his eyes at khushi.

Arnav thought : khushi liked me? But on the roof' I wasn't there for the whole conversation was i' oh no no no no no'. this cant be happening. I am responsible for ruining khushi's life. I made her an orphan again. Everyone she loves detests her. Even I used to detest her. He went to the pool side as khushi went to the bathroom and locked herself in.

Arnav looked at the moon as reality came crashing down on him. Khushi was innocent. And he had ruined her life.

Arnav had tears in his eyes and he felt as though his heart had stopped beating and there was only a rock there'

He looked up at the sky and shouted to vent out his feelings.

AAAHHH!!!!

He remembered his mom shouting at him because he had a fight in school because of his anger issues. He remembered as to what she said that day "whatever you have done only you can fix. Since you have wronged a person it is your duty to make things right. If you don't then remember this. Where ever I may be, you will find me crying at your actions"

Arnav: I have wronged her mother. But you don't worry. I will fix everything like i promised. But mom there is one problem. I wont be able to look in her eyes now. How can i? Give me strength to do what is necessary. I swear to you, I shall do whatever I can to make her as she was again. And I will do everything in my power to see that bubbly girl again.

Anjali: and I shall see to it that you do chotey... I shall make sure that you do'

CHAPTER 5: CONFRONTATION

Arnav turned and saw his di. The sound of the slap had alerted her earlier and she had come to see as to what had happened.

Anjali had tears in her eyes. She looked dead. There was no life left in those beautiful eyes. Arnav felt silent. He was for the first time in his life scared. He was afraid of what Anjali might have heard and how she would react.

Arnav: di I wa..

Anjali: Shh. Chup. You listen to me now.

Arnav: but di,

Anjali: I have asked you to remain quiet and let me talk. So this was your way to save my marriage? To destroy your own life. Too make your life a lie? What do you think? Is this what I would have wanted you to do? To save my marriage you think you can do anything for me? Are you crazy. Today you have proved that you don't actually care about your sister. Because if you did you would have told me the truth. Not hide what that traitor has done. Do you think by hiding what shyam has done and by ruining your life and now even khushi's life I will be happy?

Anjali had tears in her eyes. She could not believe that her chotey could sacrifice so much for her false happiness.

Arnav: but di you tell me. What else could I have done?

Anjali: tell the truth. You could have done that and saved khushi from so much embarrassment and hate. Her family doesn't consider khushi their own. And you should know as to how that feels. Loosing your family. It rips out your sense of survival.

Arnav: yes di. I am really sorry. I should have told you the truth. But the news about you getting pregnant just stopped me in my tracks. Di I swear to you that I shall make everything right. But di I have lost the ability to look at khushi. After all this how can I stand in front of her? My blind anger has destroyed everything I had cared for. I..

His sentence was cut as the door bell rang followed by a voice

Shyam: Rani shaiba where are you? I have come home. I am going to the room I am waiting for you my dear.

Anjali: now I have something to do. Arnav please do help me when time comes.

Arnav already was in anger. He asked his di to let him take care of shyam but Anjali asked him to not to because this time she wanted to face reality which would because of shyam be after a very long time.

Anjali proceeded to her room leaving arnav banging his fists on the wall to vent out his anger. She had wiped her tears. She was going to face her reality and bring down justice on her husband.

Shyam: why are you so late my dear. I came early to spend some time with you. I am your servant and shall do whatever you say today. Why are you sad? Is everything alright?

Anjali: I wanted to ask you something

Shyam: go ahead rani sahiba. Ask whatever you want.

Anjali: how much do you love me?

Shyam: I love you more than anything in this world. The reason why I breathe is because of you rani sahiba.

Anjali: how do you do it?

Shyam: what?

Anjali: how do you look straight in my eyes and lie everyday to me.

Shyam: no rani sahiba. Why do you think that I am telling lies? I lov'

Anjali: ENOUGH. Enough. Enough. I know the truth.

Shyam was now getting uncomfortable because he didn't know how to react.

Shyam: areh. Believe me. I love you more than anything in this world.

Anjali: You LIAR. I got to know about yours and khushi's past. The real story.

Shyam: you don't listen to what arnav says. He is telling lies.

Anjali took her hand and slapped shyam with all the energy she could muster. She had had it with his lies.

Shyam: how dare you hit me? you crazy stupid woman. Yes it is the truth. I love khushi and I shall do anything to be with her. She only has a problem with me being married. So I have decided to finish that problem once and for all.

Shyam caught anjali's neck and started to choke the life out of Anjali.

Shyam: you really are stupid. Coming to me in a room all alone. I shall kill you. Then due to grief arnav shall go mad and then no one can stop me and khushi from becoming one.

Anjali had tears in her eyes. The life in her was going not because of him strangling her but because of the truth.

Shyam: goodbye rani sahiba.

Everything started to go dark as Anjali was getting choked.

CHAPTER 6: PUNISHMENTS

Arnav had followed her sister even though he was told not to. He got really angry when he saw shyam lie to his sister and then he got shocked as he had never thought that shyam would droop to such a low level. Shyam was holding anjali's neck and was choking her. He had never felt so much rage and anger flood his heart, his brain, his body that his hands started to shiver. he was never going to forgive shyam. He walked in and took shyam's hand away from his di and broke loose.

Arnav: why don't you pick someone your own size. You are responsible for destroying 3 lives and you shall not be forgiven for this. I'LL KILL YOU.AAAHHH...

Each few words that arnav said was followed by a punch to shyam's face, stomach or anywhere else he could to cause immense pain. He couldn't stop himself.his eyes had turned red and other than raw anger and rage and grief nothing else came to his mind. Shyam had now started bleeding terribly.

Then from somewhere his di's arm came and asked him to stop. She pulled arnav and asked him to calm down.

Anjali: chotey I know that this man is not fIt to live but I don't want you to become a murderer for this useless pile of shit.

Arnav tried to take in deep breadths so as to calm himself down. His hands were still shivering.

Anjali: chotey there is no place in this house for scum of this kind and I want you to take this excuse of a man and throw him out of Raizada Mansion right now.

Arnav: yes di. I should have done this a long time back.

Then arnav grabbed shyam's collar and dragged hm to the front door.

Shyam: I don't care about staying here but tell khushi to also accompany me. we both love each other and you both cant stop it.

Then from nowhere came a hand and slapped shyam across the face. Shyam looked up to see that it was khushi who had slapped him this time.

Khushi: I have already told you that I hate you. You piece of scum.There will never come a time where I will love you or even care about you or talk to you. There was only one person whom I loved and it was definitely not you.

Arnav flinched when he heard her use the past tense. So he had caused her so much pain and he unwillingly had turned khushi's love for him to hate. He was responsible and he will eventually try and make things right.

Now arnav came back to his senses and continued to drag shyam out while Anjali and khushi were following silently. Khushi was giving her support to Anjali as anjali looked as though all signs of life had left her. She looked like a ghost.

Arnav had now reached the gate and with all his power and might thrown shyam out of the house.

Arnav: stay out of our lives. I, Arnav Singh Raizada will not tolerate you near any of my family members and you know that I never go back on my word. Get lost before I call the police.

Now shyam hurried to go and arnav closed the door on shyam.he turned to look back at his di and wife or was she his wife. He had no right to call her that now.

He saw khushi start to walk back to their room. Arnav couldn't bear to see as to what he had done. He had destroyed the love of his life. Now he thought was time to set things right.

Anjali: chotey, where are you going?

Arnav: di, I have to undo my sins and I shall do whatever I can to atone for them.

Arnav then left his di in care of his family and started to walk to his room. It was time for him to be punished for what he had done.

CHAPTER 7:Atonement

Arnav had started to walk back to his room. But he had to do one more thing before he faced khushi. He had to first make amends. He went out to the gupta's house and told them everything along with his misunderstanding and why he took such a measure. The Gupta's where shocked to know the truth and they had scolded arnav for taking such a step without telling anybody but then they said that any person could do anything to save his sister's marriage. The blame lied with them. They told him that they should have been frank with the raizada's and all of this horrible stuff would not have happened. Arnav just left the gupta's to their thoughts as he had to apologize to khushi. Nothing else mattered.

He reached the room and opened the door to find khushi wide awake and watching her reflection in the mirror.

Arnav wasn't able to look at her. But he had to make things right. He had to get his khushi back. The girl whom he had fallen in love with. That jalebi gal.

He walked towards her and khushi stood up and faced him as he got nearer to her.

As soon as khushi turned arnav's eyes started to stare at khushi's feet. Khushi went close to arnav.

Arnav: khushi I,

Khushi: shh'

Khushi: look at me.

With great difficulty arnav made his eyes to meet hers. They stood there staring into each other's eyes for more than an hour. Khushi was piercing into arnav with her gaze. She finally looked away from him and went and sat on the bed.

Arnav kept standing there looking at her. He wanted to send his love for her through the very air in the room.khushi fell asleep while seated itself. And arnav fell to his knees and fell asleep. When morning came both woke up at almost the same time. Either didn't know how to react.

Arnav: I have a call from your buaji. She wants to talk to you.

Khushi: I want to go home.

Arnav's heart stopped. He didn't want her to leave. He wouldn't be strong enough to live the rest of his life without her.

Arnav: sure. i'll take you there as soon as you are ready to go.

Khushi and arnav both got ready and went to the car unnoticed as it was still early hours of the morning.arnav drove khushi home and all the while tried to say something but khushi would reply "not now."

When they reached home khushi went straight to her babuji and hugged him and cried. Buaji and garima couldn't even look at khushi as their eyes and heart were filled with guilt and regret. Then khushi came out and asked arnav to follow her to her room.

Khushi: yes now tell me as to what you have to say.

Arnav: khushi I am really sorry for hurting you. For all the pain that I have given you but at that time I didn't think straight because of my anger. I know that I don't deserve your forgiveness but please forgive me if you can because living life without you will be completely meaningless. I wont be able to breathe without you nearby. I know that I have wronged you, but please forgive me.

Saying so he fell on his knees and broke down.

Khushi: why should it be so difficult?you don't love me. if you did you would have had some faith, some trust,atleast something towards me. but you abandoned me at the very first sign? You did not even give me a chance to explain. How can you say you love me?

Arnav: I am really sorry khushi but after seeing my jijaji do such a thing I had lost trust in everyone. I just did what I felt right which turned out to be so wrong. I had no actual intentions of hurting you khushi. i have always and will always love you khushi and i am ready to do anything you say to prove my love for you.

khushi gave it a thought and finally spoke,

Khushi: let me be alone for sometime. I don't want to see you until I make my decision.

Arnav felt a pain in his heart as though something had pierced his chest. But he had promised to do everything that khushi asks of him. He left her in her room. She was looking out of the window and saw arnav sit in his car and leave.

Then out from the shadows of the trees shyam came out and was quite happy with what he had just done.

Shyam: ha ha ha. Finally I get what I want. Bye bye arnav, because your car is gonna take you straight to heaven non stop. As those breaks of yours aren't going to work. And then khushi ji will be mine for eternity.

Shyam burst out laughing again.
