They reached the Mandir...

Arnav about to take off the seat belt ...

Khushi: umm... aap rukiye .. hum jaake de aate hey...

Arnav nodded

Arnav: theek hey...

Khushi took the stuffs and got off from the car... closes the door

Arnav: Khushi...

Khushi turns to look back...

Arnav: jaldi aana ...raaste mein traffic bahut hogi... aur shyaam hone se pehle pahunchna hey

Khushi nods and walks up the stairs of the mandir

Arnav admires his wife with a smile on his face and watches her go

Khushi speaks to the panditji and hands the stuff to him

Joins her hands and prays to her DM and turns to go ... just then the bells starts ringing and everyone gathers near the main area of the mandir ...

Khushi turns back

Khushi: Aarti?(smiles and decides to be there for some more time... (for people who did not understand y so...its considered inauspicious to leave the temple in between the maha aarti))

Arnav getting impatient in the car...

Arnav: patah nahin usey itni der kyun ho rahee hey... (tightens his gip on the steering wheel)...

Looking outside still waiting... gives up... gets down from the car and starts and marching towards the temple frustrated...

He waits outside as he sees ppl gathered around the main area... he looks for her here and there ... with looks of worry now...

Finally spots her ... and forgets all the frustration seeing her and smiles...

He felt drawn as always and could not stop himself from walking upto her ... without removing his gaze from her ... walks up and stands behind her still smiling...

The aarti ends and everybody starts dispersing ... khushi is now with folded hands and closed her eyes praying ...

Arnav's is forced to bring himself out of his state when he hears some voices ...

Woman1: arrey kitni pyaari ladki hey ... zara dekho toh uske chehare se he patah chalta hey ki sarva gunn samppan hey... (points at Khushi)

Woman2: sahee keh rahee hey aap... bahut hi susheel lagtee hey... aur lagta hey iski shaadi bhi nahin hui hey ...

Woman1: haan (still smiling and looking at khushi) devi maiyya ki kripa se mere bte ke liye aisi hi ek dulhan mile...(closes her eyes and prays)

Woman2: arrey savita behen aisi hi kyon? Yahee kyon nahin?(with excitement) aap isse poochkar iski mata pita wagera ki jaankari lijye aur phir baad mein agar aapko sahee laga toh baat aagey badhaeyega...

Woman1: (with a look of happiness which suddedly fades out) nahin shanti behen... woh.. neeraj toh shaadi ke liye maane tab na... kitni ladkiyon ki tasveere dikha chuki hu ab tak... par usko koi bhi pasand nahin aati...

Woman2: un tasveeron ko chodiye ... baat ab is ladki ki kar rahe hey... ek baar aapke bte ne isey dekh liya .. toh mana nahin kar payega...

Woman1: sahee keh rahee hey aap... main usey abhi abhi bulati hoon.. woh bahar he khada hey... (runs out brushing against arnav... frustrated that he is kinda blocking her)

Arnav: (tries to tell ) umm Dekhiye... aap galat samajh rahee hey... yeh...(he is cut off)

Woman1: Kya?? ...UFoo...HATIYE!!(and rushes out)

Arnav in a shock and too lost to react ... he simply watches the woman walk out in a hurry... continues to look lost and confused!!!!

Arnav: What the... (frowns in confusion)... itna bhi nahin dekh sakte ki yeh shaadi shuda hey?

He is still lost to react to what was happening.. and questioning to himself... Khushi by then finishes her prayers ...walks up to touch DM's feet and turns to walk back...

By then the woman returns with a young man... holding his arms and walking in hurriedly...

Young Man: Arrey maa yeh kahan le jaa rahe ho... kuch bolo toh...

Woman1: Tum chalo ... batati hoon...

Arnav furious now... and before the woman proceeds he sees khushi coming ... he notices that her mangalsutra is not visible ... without wasting any time... he goes ... and pulls her dupatta to cover her head ... ensuring the magalsutra is clearly seen...

Khushi: (totally puzzled by this... 1stly on seeing her husband inside the mandir where he was supposed be waitin in the car... and 2ndly for what he did) Aap yahan?!?

Arnav: (lost for words ... tried hard to comes up with something) woh tum itni der laga rahee thi toh...(he notices the women on the side who have completely lost it by now... are seen with their mouths open... and disappointed... )

Arnav looks at them and smirks... giving them looks like(' now can you spare my wife please')

The women look at arnav and then each other and are all embarrassed about the whole thingy...

Khushi: Kya hua?(who is unaware of whats up with the looks shared by the ladies and her husband)

Arnav: (looks back at his wife... and notices that she does not have the sindoor on her forehead.. slightly annoyed with her for this... because of which he had to face the situation where his wife was almost being married off to someone) Tumne aaj sindoor kyon nahin lagaya?

Startled at his question ...throws a surprised look at him... wondering when on earth did he start considering all these? Anyways coming out of the trance and seeing her husband waiting for an ans.. puts her had on her forehead realizing it)

Khushi : woh... hum aaj subah jaldi mein lagana bhool gaye... aur abhi ghar se nikle kisi taiyyari ke bina.. toh...

(before she finishes .. she already sees Arnav walking towards the DM statue... and walks back with sindoor in his fingers)

Arnav comes and stands in front of her ... and puts the sindoor on her forehead...

Arnav: ise hamesha lagaye rakhna( in a husky voice)

Rabba ve in the bg

Both share an eyelock... flashes of their marriage scene shown .. when arnav puts the sindoor having a hard look on his face claiming out of anger that she was his... in comparison to the lovey dovey look he carried on his face now gently marking her forehead but this time claiming his love for her and hers for him...

Khushi's eyes wells up with tears ... she breaks the eyelock not wanting to let her feelings out... looks down and turns in the other direction...

Arnav watches this and is able to connect to exactly what was running in her mind as well.. but feels helpless for the time being...

His hand gently reaches hers...khushi looks down at her hand... arnav holds her hand up a lill... they share an eyelock again... and he slowly starts moving forward towards the exit... khushi too lost to understand how to react ... simply follows his steps without breaking the eye lock ... they walk side by side lost into each other ...

Rabba ve in bg... flashes of the diwali(cat walk between the lamps) shown...

Suddenly khushi trips due to her leg getting stuck with the torn carpet ...Arnav immediately comes to her rescue (just the way during the diwali walk)... their eye lock continues... he makes her stand st... and

Arnav: Khushi...

Khushi: (lost in his eyes) hmm...

Arnav: lagta hey maine tumhari aadat bigaad di hey...

Khushi: (looks confused)

Arnav: tum chahti ho ki main tumhe utha ke le jaoon .. isilie tum???(smirks)

Khushi: ( suddenly brings her out of the trance ...looks embarrassed .. stiffens herself ..and pulls her hand out of his.) hum? Kyun? Aisa kuch nahin hey... hum apne aap chal sakte hey... (walks swiftly in anger.. turns to look back at him... who by the way is walking few steps behind her and is still smiling at her, when she again trips on the steps and is about to fall)

Arnav: Khushi carefull...(runs and gets hold of her waist and pulls her back...)

Khushi is huffing a bit...

Arnav: (with worried looks at first and then softening up a lill realizing that she is so close to him ... brings a sense of joy on his face...)

Arnav: (with a naughty smile) maine kaha tha na... maine tumhari aadat bigaad di hey...

Khushi turns her face to meet his gaze ... and in no time she finds herself being carried by her husband in his arms walking out of the temple...

Tan tan tan... tada da da da tan ta nan...(he he the famous rabba ve tune)

The 2 women who have watched all of it are still saddened and embarrassed at their act...

Young man: Maa... maa kya hua... tumne abhi tak bataya nahi...

Woman1: (disgusted look) kuch nahin .. lagta hey teri kismat mein koi acchi ladki hey he nahin... ab chal yahan se...

Young man: kya?!? (confused look) Ladki?!? Par .. maine (gives up and simply walks behind his mom)

In the car Khushi's face has turned pink already ... and is not able to look at him...arnav smiles seeing her ... and they drive off...
