Part 53

The end of Love ?

1 Month Later :

" Shilpa come on come with us its really going to be fun.. "
A smile formed on her lips but she shook her head unwillingly.. " I really cant. You must not forget Anjali I am in suspension, i cant accompany to a medical trip.. "
Anjali made a face but didint say a word as she knew Shilpa was correct. She could easily sense the tension between Armaan and Shilpa. She havent seen either of them do a normal conversation anymore. No matter how hard she tried to bring them close, they seem to get away from eachother.
It was hard to understand what Armaan was feeling about this. After the horrible incident that night he had grown reserved and quiet. Hardly anyone could see him do a talk or laugh. The sudden change in his behavior was making everyone unhappy. Gone was the arrogant , self confident Armaan who used to bark orders at Everyone. On other side she could clearly understand how hurt Shilpa was. She had lost her carrier and all confidence. Eventhough she had grown quiet still she tried her best to remain strong infront of all. Try to make a conversation with them , try to look happy even if inside she was breaking. The most hurtful thing for Anjali to see was how she glanced at Armaan with hurt in her eyes. She couldnt even think how badly Armaan's ignorance was effecting Shilpa.
Rahul and Atul had gone away for the medical trip. Still Anjali wished both of them were beside her to help her through this.
Anjali shook her head trying to be not effected by the tension hanging in the dining room. She smiled and took Shilpa's hand affectionately.. "I understand this is hard for you Shilpa. But you cant keep punishing urself forever. "
She smiled bitterly but hurt was visible in her eyes.. "You cant even imagine how much guilt i still have buried inside me Anjali. I cant forget the irresponsible behavior which have taken away all my dreams. I have lost my reputation as a doctor infront of whole world."
"Believe me Shilpa i do understand what you are going through right now" Anjali sighed. "I wish i could help you even little "
Tears of hurt and anger formed in her eyes and she tried to smile but failed.. " But you cant help me Anjali. No one can i have badly failed myself"

The awkwardness was killing him. From a month he felt as if he was living with a stranger. Shilpa had grown quiet and unresponsive. Few moments came where he had tried to gain some courage to have a talk to her but utterly failed.
She wasnt the only one who was hurt regarding the horrible incident which took away her carrier , her dream. He knew how much hurt he felt the moment everything was taken away. As time passed he had realized he could no longer blame her for the failure. It wasnt fully her fault, whatever happened was due to his own cruel behavior. What have i become. He thought bitterly as he buttoned his shirt getting ready for the day. Through the corner of his eyes he glanced at his wife who stood near the window staring outside. He sighed feeling miserable. Do what you have to do, Take a step to her and console her. His heart guided him.
Shilpa could feel his presence behind her which made her grow still. Eventhough she had no longer strength to respond back to any feelings, his presence still made her uneasy. She closed her eyes and clutched her fingers on the window. Several minutes passed. Shilpa tried to keep her herself calm, trying her best not to be effected by him. Several minutes passed she stood tensed not daring enough to cast a glance at him. But her curiosity grew as she wondered. What was he doing ? Unwillingly she turned and faced the man who stood behind her silently staring at her intently. The gentleness in his eyes surprised her. And then he smiled , tears filled in her eyes and a sob escaped from her lips. His jaw clenched as he took a step back , A lump formed on her throat. Shilpa turned away feeling the same hurt comeback to her at once. Every single person was drifting away from her and she couldnt help but blame herself for the failure.
Suddenly within a instinct he was behind her breathing hard. Her own breath caught as she felt his hot breath on her ears. "Tonight " The word sent chills down her spine. She frowned. Was that a promise. She stood for sometime trying to calm down her thudding heart and turned around only to find he was gone.. Tonight..

She came out of the shower clutching the night dress close to her body. As she turned around her steps came to a halt, Armaan stood near the window staring outside. What was he doing back home so early. His appearance made her grow nervous. Gone was the official look now he stood with his back to her clasped only in a denim jeans. He almost look comforting. Almost Like a... Husband. Shilpa shivered but took a step forward but he turned around feeling her presence. His eyes ran down her body making her grow flush, his eyes was dark with desire. Shilpa tried to stop herself from responding to him but her body was reacting to him. She clenched her fist and stood rigid as he came towards her with a slow pace. As he came closer she panicked and walked away towards the bed and settled herself on her side. As she turned to glance back at him she regretted her decision. Maybe no surely she had done a big mistake. She should have gone out of the room rather than getting on the bed. She thought angrily as he slowly got on the bed moving close to her. Her heart thudded as he came closer , almost brushing his body with hers. Shilpa closed her eyes not willing to let her body response to his touch. Dont react. Dont let yourself get hurt. She reminded herself bitterly as she opened her eyes staring up at the ceiling. She felt him sigh almost in defeat. But he caressed her face while she just stared at him blankly. He brushed his lips on hers only to feel her grow still under his touch. Still it didint weaken his resolve. He would make sure by tonight he will take away the coldness, the hurt and anger within her.
" Let me help you " The words which he spoke soothingly made her eyes fill with tears. He brushed them off almost gently almost scared to hurt her.
" It hurts " She spoke weeping silently. Eventhough she was scared to loose herself in emotions , his gentleness made her cry. Its been long time since she had been craving for his touch or his care.
" I know how much it hurts. Just once. Let me help you. " He pleaded her as he held her close , comforting her.
Few minutes passed after that she gave a silent nod. Soon her heart filled with bliss as he started to shower light kisses on her face. It was soothing her pain as she smiled softly. He smiled back and sighed almost in relief. Seeing her breath hard the desire rushed inside him as his hands slowly worked on the knot of the nightdress. He opened it and softly peeled off the dress from her body. With hunger and desire filled eyes he crushed his lips down on hers kissing her passionately , just like the way he had dreamed of doing all these days. She responded back eagerly to his kisses. He traced his tongue on her lower lips, she gasped and opened her mouth making it easier for him to kiss her deeply. Soon he pulled of roughly to notice her lips all swollen and red. Satisfaction filled in him as he saw the emotions filled in her eyes which he had missed baldly.. He bent down on her neck nibbling her soft skin only to be interrupted by his phone..
"Damn " He cursed and set up on the bed and took his phone. Shilpa tried to catch her breath, she pulled up the blanket on her body and set up beside him. She felt herself flush as he stared down at her with dreamy eyes. But as the phone rang again he took the call and..
"What ! I will be there in 15 minutes "
She stared at him awkwardly as he started to get dressed with a foul mood. She bit her lip not daring to question him about the call. What if he gets angry and shout again. But to her surprise he finished dressing up and turned back to her with concerned filled eyes.. " I really have to go now.. There is a urgent meeting to be done . I will be back soon "
The way he promised made her sigh in relief. She smiled softly and nodded. "Its ok.. "
He stared at her for a long time and leaned down to her kissing her almost rough and passionately. She gasped as he pulled back and whispered.. "I will be back. "

He is back.. She woke up and blinked her eyes as she heard several noises within the room. Shilpa set up wondering what he was doing. Her frown grew as she noticed him moving around the room hastily taking out his clothes. She stood up alarmed.. "Armaan. Why are you taking your clothes.?"
At first he didint reply she wondered if he was listening to her. Thats when she noticed a suitcase lying on the bed. Her heart thudded as she moved closer to him. "Whats wrong Armaan.. "
She took a step back as he shot a glare at her. God plz not again.. What had gone wrong this time. Whatever was wrong he was upset with her. Deeply upset..
"Could you please tell me whats wrong " Gaining some courage she spoke softly. He stopped his packing and shook his head with a bitter laugh.. "You are asking me whats wrong. What havent gone wrong since i met you.."
" Whatever happened ,You cant blame me alone for it. " She spoke gritting her teeth as the anger rose within her..
He stared at her for a long time, thats when she noticed he was utterly disturbed. Something had gone wrong and he was taking the anger on her. But why should i tolerate everytime..
"Exactly. I do blame myself. You dont know how badly i am regretting them"
Shilpa flinched and glanced at him wounded.. " Dont do this Armaan. You are going to say thing which u will regret later. What is wrong now. I thought u wanted to correct things between us.. ? "
More hurt grew within her as he ignored her words with a bored look. "Maybe you forgot what had happened last month. Maybe you forgot how embarrassed i had to be because of you. Its not only ur carrier which ended my own reputation was on stake. And today cause of your mistake i have to go and beg them from taking away my hospital from me.. "
"I thought u understood how sorry i was for that day.. " Shock ripped through her tears kept welling up which he ignored easily..
" Are you ? Did you ever try to understand how important that place is for me. Sanjeevani is the only place i have as a memory of my parents. And now they are trying to take it away from me. " His voice grew horse , his expression grew pained as he stared at the space. Shilpa sobbed silently and tried to touch him, but he back away with a harsh laugh.
"Armaan if this is happening because of me you dont know how sorry.. "
He cut back her words in anger.. " You are sorry.. ?? No you dont know how i am sorry to trust you to be a responsible doctor , a good wife. Were you taking revenge from me for tricking you into marriage ?? "
Stunned by his words she shook her head.. " You dont meant it Armaan. "
" I do. I mean every single word i am saying. If you had to take revenge why couldnt you just ruin me. Why take away only memory of my parents.. "
" But i love you.. Why would i take revenge " She sobbed uncontrollably. But he hardened his heart towards her cries. His mind wasnt working at the moment. All he could see was his dream hospital slipping away from his hands..
"Love.. I doubt i even loved you ever.. " He spoke bitterly passing the cruel look at her. Shilpa flinched in pain and stared at him " Shut up Armaan. Just SHUT UP !! "
" Why ? Cant you bear the truth.. " The old arrogance was back in his face.. " I might have misunderstood myself to love you maybe i just lusted after you all these time dont you think so ? "
" You are lying " She clenched her fist clearing out her tears. His hatred look kept breaking her heart to pieces " You are just trying to push me away from you. Thats what you always do right. Armaan Mallik.. "
His jaw clenched as he smirked.. " I dont even expect you to walk away. Where will you go. Other than me who is there to help you. "
" If my Dad was.. "
" Your father is dead ! " He blurted out in anger. Shilpa clenched her fist and slapped him hard on his cheek. " My father might be dead but i am not helpless "
He rubbed his cheek and snorted.. " Darling , you are just helpless like a small child. You are helpless that you have to depend on me everytime. And i will make sure you remain helpless like that. "
She returned him the dirty look.. "Why ? Because i have took revenge on you. I have taken away your hospital.. "
" You are smarter enough than i thought.. " He shook his head quietly.. " I am not ever going to forgive you for this Shilpa.. "
" I really dont care Mallik.. " Tears formed in her eyes as she stared at him in pain.. "Marrying you was the biggest mistake of my life.. I wish.. I wish i never met you.. "
He stared back at her with a hatred look no emotions showing on his face.. Say i am wrong Armaan. She pleaded in her heart as he smirked dirtily.. "Believe me Shilpa. I wish the same thing.. "
As he turned away she slipped on to the floor in shock. The hurt burst through her so hard she almost felt hard to breath. His every single insult and remark kept ringing in her head. He coolly packed his suitcase and set it down. Before leaving he stared down at her hardening his expression. He himself didint knew how much damage he had done. But he couldnt think now he couldnt. Maybe later he would regret, whatever he did whatever he said. But not now. Right now he had to do every single thing to get back his hospital..
" I am leaving for Europe. To do one last try to save my parents dream , my dream. Just pray i get back what i am going for. Orelse the consequences arent going to be great When i comeback to you. "
Orlese the Consequnces arent going to great when i comeback to you.. The last words which he spoke before leaving send chills down her spine. But she wasnt scared she wasnt even hurt every feeling had died within her hearing his words.. She stared at the door as he walked away without a further glance.. " Good riddance Armaan Mallik ! "

Precap :

"I cant believe Shilpa is gone " Anjali whimpered and spoke again.
" Surely she had a good reason to go.Maybe we should tell Armaan. He might be able to.. "
Atul " How ?? How are we going to tell him. None of us knows where Armaan is from Months.. He is himself missing "

Note : Its been long time i havent update right ;O First of all i am really sorryy for the delay i guess i told i am busy in Ramadan. About the story i know i am not explaining Armaan's side story. Well no worries it will be coming soon in next part if possible. I will try my best to update faster now.

Finalyyy...Finalyyy you updated...I missed this FF and you so much...Glad to see you back. Now coming to the chapter...So sad but written beautifully. But what happened to ArSh yaar...their are so much tension between them...Don't know what their argument bring in their life...I just can't believe Armaan said those words...felling so bad for both of them...P-Recap is even more scary yaar...really want to know more so plz try to continue soon...Thanks for the PM...Take care
