Part 12
Arnav Khushi both go home from hospital the very night, and they are welcomed by their family.
Nani: Come in, daughter
As Khushi is about to step inside the house, she feels dizzy and is about to faint when Arnav hands automatically reach her waist and support her. He picks her up and brings her inside the house. Khushi is semi-unconscious and peeks at her husband who is lovingly bringing her inside. She remembers the grev-pravesh incident when Arnav nearly smacked her on the floor afterwards, so she held onto his collar tightly. Arnav takes her straight to the bedroom and puts her down. He caresses her and tells her to rest.
It's nearly night time when Khushi wakes up from her sleep, and sees Arnav sitting on the sofa, his head buried in his hands. She goes puts his hand on his head, and tilts his head up with affection and sees he is crying and tensed.
Khushi suddenly sits down near him: Whats wrong, Arnavji?
Arnav: Khushi, I don't know how to tell di what has happened
Khushi: But you said you will work it out. I will help you. We will do it together, dear.
Arnav holding her hands: I know you're with me, but di will be broken
Khushi: dont worry, she will understand, she loves us. Besides, who would want to live with a man who has done all this to her chotay and her bhabhi, right
Arnav: yeah, well you should sleep now
Khushi: but I am not sleepy
She gets up and sits in Arnav's lap and caresses her sideburns and runs her hands behind his neck sending shivers of passion through Arnav
Arnav not saying anything picks up Khushi and places her on the bed with love
Khushi holding onto his shirt, pulls him closer in. She kisses him and Arnav runs his hands through her hair with passion. They both spend a night full of passion, completing each other. They both had desired for this night to come in their lives, but due to the complications it couldn't. But they were not complaining. They were indulging in the passion it brought them. Khushi and Arnav both lie next to each other after making out under a white silk duvet. Khushi next to arnav holding his hand, while he sleeps in peace and a smile twinkles on his face. Khushi quickly touches his lips with hers and his smile widens
Khushi: I will never let this smile disappear while I am with you.
Arnav opens his eyes: so it will never disappear because you will always be with me
Saying this, he pulls her closer in his arms and he sleeps with her head on his arm, and her arm around his chest.
Khushi: I love you
Arnav: I love you more and places a kiss on her head and they both head off to dreamsland…
The next morning, Khushi wakes up and feels shy seeing Arnav sleeping next to him. She remembers last night and she hides her face with her hands. Arnav sees this, wakes up, and seperates her hands and kisses her on her eyes making her open them.
Arnav: Good morning Khushi..
Khushi: Good Maarning, arnavji
They both get out of bed, get freshen up like they did the day before as Khushi still needs help with basic bath because of her injuries. He dresses her up, puts sindoor, mangalsootra and a bindi on her face. She smiles. They both leave for the breakfast table and as Khushi starts to serve, Nani tells her to sit down next to Arnav because she is not yet well. Khushi quietly sits down next to Arnav.
Everyone is having breakfast when suddenly Anjali gets up and starts to limp towards the door. Shyam! Everyone sees Shyam entering through the door.
Arnav and Akash share a glare, and so do Payal-Khushi. Nani and everyone else greets him.
Shyam: I got your special cloth, saale sahib. It took me a week!
Arnav: Hm
Shyam now spotting Khushi besides Arnav bandaged: Oh my god what happened to Khushi?
Arnav clenches his teeth: Nothing, it was just an accident
Khushi places her hand on Arnavs to calm him down. He accepts.
Anjali explains everything to Shyam while they all have breakfast.
Shyam and Akash leave for work, while Arnav says he will catch up after putting Khushi to rest.
Arnav and Khushi are in the bedroom
Khushi: we must tell Anjali ji, before the hurt gets bigger and bigger
Arnav: I know, lets go now
He holds her hand and takes her to di's room
Arnav: di, we have to talk to you…
