Ramaa's heart skips a beat as she sees Arnav descending the stairs alongwith Sukumar.
She looks expectantly at Arnav who gives her a smile and a reassuring nod.
Ramaa heaves a sigh of relief.
Sukumar: Jijaji,aap chaliye,hum aavat hai.
Arnav: Sure!
He finds Khushi and Paayal in the kitchen.
Sukumar: Khusi,jara paani tau pila humko..
Khushi: Ji bhaiyya..
As she takes the glass of water to him,she asks him with her eyes.
Sukumar places his hand on her head.
Sukumar: Dhanyavaad! Khus reh!
He takes the glass of water from her hand.
Khushi(whispers): Bhaiyya,kya hua?
Sukumar: Payalia,Aakas jijaji kahaan hain?
Paayal: Woh oopar kamre me aaram kar rahe hain,bhaiyya. Unki tabiyat theek nahi hain.
Sukumar: Khaane par naahi aayenga kaa?
Paayal: Ha aayenge..Hum khana lagaakar unhe bula lenge.
Sukumar: Theek hai! Waise,humein aapan jijaon se milkar bahutai khusi hui! (looks at Khushi) Dono bahut achchhe aur samajhdaar hain! Aur humri bahut ijjat karte hain! aakas jijaji k saath humko jyaada wakhat naahi mila,par Arnav jijaji se batiyaakar hum bahut khus hain!
Khushi understands what he's trying to say.
Sukumar: Devi Maiyya k aasirbaad se humri bahino ko itne achche var,itna pyaara parivaar aur aisa ghar-sansaar mila hai!
Paayal: Woh toh hai,bhaiyya!
Sukumar: a.. tum aapan bhabhi ko aur Deepak ko dekhi hau kaa?
Paayal: Ji.Deepak ko neend aa rahi thi,isiliye bhabhi use naniji k kamre me lekar gayi...
She shows him the way to nani's room.
Sukumar: theek hain.Hum aavat hain..
Khushi(smiles): Ji bhaiyya!
After he leaves,Khushi thanks her Devi Maiyya and resumes her work.

In nani's room..
Sukumar: Badi jaldi sui gava Deepak?
Ramaa: Ha.. tabiyat theek naahi hai,ae hi liye saayad..
Sukumar nods & sits next to Ramaa.
Ramaa: Hum.. rasoi me jaakar aavat hai..
She is about to get up,when Sukumar stops her.
Sukumar: Tanik der ruk jao..Humko.. tumse.. ek baat karni hai.
Ramaa: Ji,kahiye..
Sukumar: Hum.. tumse.. maafi maangna chahte hain Ramaa..
Ramaa: Ee kaa kahe rahe hain?
Sukumar: Hum.. achchhe baap tau ban gaye par.. achchhe pati naahi ban paaye..
Ramaa doesnt say anything.
Sukumar: Humne kabhi ee naahi socha ki humre bachchhwa k alaava oo ki amma ko bhi humre dhyan,lagaav aur parem ki jaroorat hai.. Humra sara vakhat hum dukaan,Deepak aur apne aaram ko diye rahen.Ghar ki jimmedari aur baap ki jimmedari tau uthaaye liye,par ee sab kare maa pati ki jimmedari bhulaaye gaye..(sighs) Tumhri bidaai k bakhat hum sasurji se jaun baada kiye the hum oo baada poora naahi kar paaye.. ae hi humko maaf kar do!
He is about to fold his hands when Ramaa stops him.
Ramaa: Ee kar k humko sarmindaa mat kariye! Humre liye ee hai bahut hai ki aapko aapan galti ka ehsaas aur oo ka afsos hai.. Ee sab kare ki kauno jaroorat naahi hain!
She hugs him.
Ramaa: Aap ek bahut achchhe pati hain! Kaun kahta hai ki aapne babuji ka vachan tod diya? Itne barson se aapne humri jimmedari uthai tau hai! Humko kauno din kauno kami naahi hone di! Kauno paraai stri ki taraf dekhe bhi naahi! Humri har jaroorat ka khayaal rakhe hain aap!
She breaks the hug.
Ramaa: Aapse chook hui hai tau bas..
Sukumar(interrupts): Hum jaanat hain- hum tumhre saath samay naahi bita paaye hain,ee hai naa?
Ramaa nods.
Sukumar: Hum tumhri ee siqaayat ko door kar denge!
Ramaa(smiles): Sach?
Sukumar(nods): Bilkul! Lucknow chalo,phir dekhna-kaise tumhri saari muraadein poori kar denge hum aur tumhri har siqaayat door kar denge! Ab humne thaan li hai,ki hum achchhe dukaandar,achchhe bete,achchhe bhai aur achchhe baap se pahile achchhe pati bankar dikhayenge!
Ramaa is very happy to hear that.
Sukumar(holds her hand): Par tumko bhi humre liye kuchho kareki padi..
Ramaa: Kaa?Aap batiyaiyye tau sahi! Jaun aap kahenge hum oo karenge!
Sukumar: Aage jaakar tumko kabhi bhi humse kauno siqaayat hau tau tum sabse humse kahna! Hum ee naahi kah rahe hain ki tumko Khusi ko batiyaana naahi chahiye tha.. Tum ooko aapan bahin jaisan samjhat hau,ae hi liye tum oo ko batiyaaye di aur oo jijaji ko batiyaaye di.. theek hai! Par tum ee hai batwaa humse kahi hoti tau humko bahutai khusi hoti!
Ramaa: Kaa humne aapse naahi kaha hai?Har saalgiraah par jab aap humko uphaar dete hain,hum aapse kaa kahte hain?Hum ee sab naahi chahiye! Humein aapka saath chahiye,aapka parem chahiye!
Sukumar: Tumhri batwaa ko samjhe maa humse bhool hui gayi! Par ab hum samajh gaye hain! Aur haa,agli baar,humse saaf-saaf sabdon maa kahna ki hum ee chahtein hain ki aap humre saath samay bitaaye,samjheo?
Ramaa: Ji!
He hugs her.
Khushi,who had been witnessing the whole thing,from the window,smiles at the couple and prays for their happiness.
When she turns to go,she's shocked beyond measure to find Arnav standing behind her,at some distance.

Once dinner is over,Nani gives all the gifts,which Arnav had bought,to the guests.
Buaji: Bahut der hui gayi hai Nandkisore,ab humka ghar chali ki chaahi..Ee logan ka kal Jaipur bhi jaayka hai..Aagya dijiye naniji..
Nani: Jaisan aapko theek lage.Aap sabko humri Anjali bitiya ki shaadi ma aaye ki padi! Hum khud aayenge aapke ghar,aapko nimantran patrika deve ki khaatir..
Sukumar: Jaroor padhaariyega naniji,humko bahut achchha lagega!
He touches nani's feet and nani blesses him.
With that, begins a round of good byes,namastes,hugging and feet-touching.
Arnav & Khushi touch Ramaa's feet.
Ramaa: Khoob khus rahiye aap dono! Nandoiji,Devi Maiyya aapko aapke kaam maa barkat den aur aapko hamesa swasht rakhe! Aur Khushi, bahut jaldi tumhri godh bhar jaaye aur tum sada suhaagan raho!
Arnav notices the blush on Khushi's cheeks and smiles.
Ramaa: Chalte hain,nandoiji!
Arnav is so overwhelmed by emotions that he's unable to speak,so he simply nods.
Ramaa notices the tears in his eyes.
Ramaa(keeping a hand on his shoulder): Bas!Jaate-jaate humko rulaiyyega kaa?
Arnav shakes his head.
He felt the urge to hug her but he checked himself since the family was present there.
Ramaa also felt the same urge & she also controlled herself,since she didnt want her family,particularly Sumitra to think something wrong.
So she blesses him by keeping her hand on his head.
Ramaa: Jeete rahiye! Devi Maiyya aapko lambi aayu de!
Arnav(confused): Aayu?
Ramaa(smiles): Aayu matbal umar!
Arnav: Oh...! thanks! I wish aapki har wish poori ho jaay aur aap bhi hamesha khush rahen!
At that moment,Mohan comes there.
Mohan: Sir,hum kaunsi gaadi le?
Arnav: Mujhe SUV ki chaabi de do,tum doosri gaadi le lo.
He turns to the family,who were still busy with their goodbyes.
Arnav: Chalen?
Buaji: Ha,ha babua chalo! Chalo,chalo sab gaadi maa baitho,naahi tau hiyaan hi bhor hui jai hai aur tumlogan ki gaadi chhoot jai hai!
After they leave and after the kitchen and dining area are cleaned,Khushi leaves for her room.
Khushi: Bahut thakaan ho gayi hai aur ab yeh saree aur yeh gehne humse bardaasht bhi nahi ho rahe hain!
She takes out her nightsuit from the cupboard.
Khushi: Arnavji aaye usse pehle kapde badal lete hain.
She is about to enter the bathroom when a thought crosses her mind,but she dismisses it.
Khushi: Aaj ki raat ko sawaal karne aur jawaab dene me hi guzar jayegi! Roothna-manaana yehi sab hota rahega!Aaj raat ko kuch aur toh.. hone se raha! Kapde badal hi lete hain! Waise bhi yeh saree bahut bhaari hai!
She enters the bathroom,not knowing what the night had in store for her.

Sukumar(nods): Definitely! Once we're in Lucknow,I'll fulfill all ur wishes and make sure u hav no complaints! Now I've decided,I'll become a good husband,before becoming a good shopkeeper,a good son,a good brother and a good father!
