"Challen'I have done the packing" Maan's trance broke, ohh she is coming with him.
Geet was not obliged to listen to him or she had complete right to deny him, but seeing him so thoughtful and concerned and above all some how she could not deny his request' why she did not knew'
Anyways she had argued to herself'. She will be paying him.
Geet settled herself in the room he showed her while Maan went for his exercise.
She was busy thinking about her interview next day when after his exercise Maan came to check on her. Geet looked at him and could not remove her gaze from his sweaty well toned body and his sweaty face. Any way he always had ways to take her senses away, she involuntarily walked up to him who was himself lost in her simple beauty. Their eyes got locked not to be separated. Something between them was so strong and it was something both were denying to recognize.
Geet reached him to feel him; their eyes still locked she placed her one palm on his cheek and other on is chest, rubbing it as if wiping his sweat. Maan's hand reached behind her ears on her neck and started rubbing it. Geet hugged his sweaty body tightly feeling, Maan embraced her. They stayed that way for a while feeling the world's peace with each other.
But suddenly he snapped away.
"Get some nice rest Geet, I don't want you to be tired for your interview tomorrow."
"hmm" she said and both separated with each other with great difficulty, why was it so difficult they failed to realize.
Maan knew very well that if he starts with her there might be no stopping.
After they had dinner..
"You look worried; you can share if you wish"
"Actually, I really want to clear this last round tomorrow, just hopping everything goes fine. Not sure what they will ask"
Maan smiled'. "Itnee see baat"
Geet made her face "I am not Maan Singh Khurana who have experience to take hundreds of interview everyday'. I am giving the interview for selection that too first time."
Maan came near her "Well you can take advantage of someone so experienced near you"
Geet had shine on her face "You will help me?? "
"Challo let's go to my study."
Maan then helped her to prepare for her interview, giving her all the tips of what must be expected from her.
After they were done'.
"Anyways I know, one who can impress me can impress anyone' you will be successful I am sure. Just keep up your confidence."
Next morning Geet was all ready to go.
Maan came forward to kiss her forehead'
"I know you will be successful' we will celebrate in the evening."
Geet went to office using bus and train. She reached the office and had her interview. The moment she was in the interview hall she got all her confidence back and she definitely was successful and got the appointment letter. Now her stay in Mumbai was confirm.
She was jumping with joy and immediately wanted to call Maan but knowing he may be busy just SMSed him and then called her family to inform them.
Maan saw the message but he was too busy with his important deal of 200 crore contract. Meeting somehow was not going much in his favor and he was all busy with it.
In the evening Geet was eagerly waiting for Maan. She wanted to celebrate with him. She waited for long then tried to call him but Maan was too busy with the deal to answer her call.
"Geet tu bhi pagli hai' he must be busy in the office, warna call to jarror pick kerte. I will give him surprise."
She searched the internet for Italian food recipe and prepared the dishes which she felt Maan would like.
She was waiting for Maan to come and then they would have dinner together. While waiting for him she slept there on couch itself.
Maan's mood was not very pleasant when he entered the house at eleven.
Geet woke up with the noise.
"Maan aap aa gaye' I tried to call you per aap shayad busy the."
"Hmmm" and he went to his room directly.
Geet ran behind him "Maan should I set up the dinner while you get refresh."
"I had my dinner, you don't worry' and why are you awake still."
Geet felt bad, he had his dinner and she is waiting for him all while and he did not once ask about her day. Well she should not expect in their relation but she was, especially with Maan being so caring last night and in the morning.
"Woo'. I was waiting for us to have dinner together'"
Maan was all in so foul a mood that he was getting irritated with everything.
"What' why the hell were you waiting for me'see here Geet, I really don't like these emotional stuff. I am not your' whatever,'.. you don't have to wait for me like this."
And he left. Geet just stayed there trying to gather his sudden change in behavior. He was logically no where wrong but the sudden change
"Office ka problem hoga koi.. tbhi" she thought but still felt very heavy at heart.
Then after a long time thinking she was about to leave for her room when she turned to check on Maan. She sneaked peeked in his room'. Maan was in deep thought while having drinks.
She could not stop from asking and she reached him and placed her hand on his shoulder
"Maan you look troubled'." Maan was in deep thought about his deal and his thought was interrupted and he was kind of half drunk, not completely out of sense but not in full sense too.
"Geet please give me some space man'. I am here busy with something"
Geet was again shocked "I cleared the interview, you did not even congratulate me."
"So you want me leave my worry about my 200 crore deal and celebrate your selection in this job"
This was Maan when he was involved in business work, at this time nothing mattered to him but Geet could not take this and she quietly moved from there.
She went to her room and the moment she closed her door tears rushed down her eyes. She was not supposed to feel bad of his words with the relation they shared but logic always doesn't work.
Every act and words of Maan was hurting her though all he said her was what he had been saying.
"What should I do, he is the one caring for me since I have landed here'. Maine kaha tha yahan rahoongee.. nahi na, then interview, he helped me on his own'. "
"Galti sab meri hai'. Main he beh gayee thee, if he can keep distance when he wishes, I should keep my distance'.. per kya karoon' when he cares about me I can't say NO, it all feel so good and correct."
She sat there sitting for long'
"No Geet no more'. It's better you should stay within the limit of your relation or everything well get messed up' This beautiful relation we share will be ruined' Keep your emotions away."
Next morning Maan woke up at his usual 5:30 am and went for Gym'. He was little light now as he had got some solution of how to proceed with the deal.
He then went to kitchen to fetch some cold water and when he opened the fridge he saw the dishes Geet had prepared. It was all of his choice. He then realized how he had behaved with her last night. In his own problem how he had been so rude and here she had made all dishes of his choice'..
"Ohh shit man'. What did I do? " He immediately went towards Geet's room. The door was closed but not locked. He opened the door and Geet at same moment came out from washroom, all wet and wrapped in towel, her wet hair falling on her bare soft white skin of her shoulder. Maan could not move his gaze from her. He gulped his saliva at the look of beauty infront of him. He had the bad urge of filling her in his embrace.
Their eyes met, Maan moved forward but Geet turned other way, though she herself was dying to be in his arms. Her heart wanted him to sooth the pain he had given her but her mind stopped her.
"I will change and come in a while."
Maan stopped in middle and with heavy heart went out. He was actually angry on himself for ruining things like this.
