Chapter 3:

Kya hain maan, ab tak aapko aajaana chahiye tha. Aapka phone bhi nahi lag raha hain. Mujhe bohot darr lag raha hain maan plzz aajayiye. Kaha ho aap?

Suddenly the phone rang. Geet lifted the phone in one ring expecting that it is maan.

Hello maan...

before she complete other side somebody spoke. Thats it her world stopped in front of her. Tears rolled down her cheeks. The phone in her hand landed on the ground. Her eyes widened in shock.

Maaan shouted geet n came running down.

Hearing her scream mom n pooja were about to come to her room, but geet is decending the stairs in full speed that she lost her balance n fell down.

Mom n pooja shouted in horror GEEET.

Mom n pooja closed their eyes in horror. They thought that geet fell down but to their luck a guy came running n held her. Geet too closed her eyes. She thought her life ended here but soon she realised that she did not fall. Slowly geet opened her eyes n saw vicky holding her.

Geet hugged vicky n started crying bitterly.

Mom n pooja came there n sighed in relief that geet is alright. They went to her n asked

geet beta aap thik tho hona? Asked mom.

Geet broke the hug n told mom.. ma.. maan.. n started crying bitterly.

Beta bolo kya hua maan ko? Asked mom.

Suddenly vicky's phone rang. He picked the call

hello..

vicky khurana??

yes..

sir we r calling from ******* hospital. mr. maan khurana met with an accident.

WHAT?? how is he now?? nothing serious na??

sir plzz u come to hospital.

Yes we r coming now told vicky n cut the call.

Bhabhi aap chinta mat kijiye bhai will be fine. Aap aaram kijiye I will go to hospital n come.

Nahi vicky I will also come.

Vicky beta maan ko kya hua?

Bhai plzz maan bhai ko kya hua asked pooja.

Bhai ka accident hua told vicky. His eyes filled with tears.

They all headed to hospital. geet is crying continously resting on mom's shoulder. She is carassing her hair n told

geet beta aap chinta mat kijiye. Maan ko kuch nahi hoga. Dekho agar maan ne aapko aisa dekha tho he will be upset n bachon ke baare mein bhi socho.

Kaise mom, I want see him immediately. I talked with him yesterday only he told he will come by morning. Phir yeh accident kaise hua. Mujhe darr lag raha hain mom. Maan will be fine na.

Bhabhi dont worry. Close your eyes n relax dekho itna tension lena acha nahi hain.

But geet is nowhere to listen. She is crying continously n praying to babaji.

After 30min they reached hospital n went directly to ICU. When they reached there they saw maan's dad who has come before only.

Papa maan.. how is he? Asked geet.

Papa closed his eyes, tears rolled down his cheek n told doctors are inside beta. Aap batiye told papa.

Nahi papa mujhe maan ko dekhna hain. Main andar chalti hu plzz.

Nahi beta ICU ke andar nahi jaa sakte hum.

Vicky n pooja made her sit n gave her water.

Bhabhi doctor's are there na aap chinta mat kijiye told vicky.

Just then doctor came out. Geet ran to him n asked

doctor how is maan?

Doctor looked at her n other n told he lost lot of blood. He is not at all respondint to the treatment. Jab tak he wont response we cant say anything.

Geet held his collar n shouted what the hell are u speaking. Mere maan,MERI JAAN ko kuch nahi hoga. Kuch nahi hoga.

Bhabhi called vicky n hugged her sideways n carassing her hair to calm down.

Dekho vicky doctor ne kya kaha. Maan ko kuch nahi hoga. Mere maan ko kuch nahi hoga.

Mom hugged pooja n crying bitterly.

Mom plzz if u loose hope then bhabhi ka kya hoga. Aap shant ho jayiye told pooja.

Geet broke the hug n asked doctor can I see him once. Plzz doctor.

Ok only for 10 min.

thanku doctor.

Immediately geet went inside the ICU n saw maan attached with many wires with oxygen mask. His head n right hand is bandaged. His face is looking pale.

Geet went n sat beside him n held his hand

maan uthiye na. Kya hua aapko. Did I do anything wrong?? phir aap mujse naraaz hain kya. Plz maan aankhen koliye. Main aapko aisa nahi dekh sakti. Agar aapko kuch hua tho main mar jaongi.

She started crying bitterly there is no response from maan.

Maan dekho baby aapse baat karna chathi hain. Plz baat kijiye na warna wo naraaz ho jayegi. Baby wont like when u r silent. Wo bhi meri tarah aapse bak bak karna chati hain. Kya aap unse baat karna nahi chate? Bolo maan aap chup kyun hain. Humko pata hain ki aap zyada baat nahi karenge. Plz maan open your eyes. I promise I wont trouble u, I will do what u say. Plz mujse baat kijiye. Aap kehte hain na meri aankhon mein aansu aap bardaash nahi kar skate phir aaj kya hua?

Geet hugged him n crying bitterly after some time she is very tired n fainted.

Here outside all are worried that geet didnt come still. Its been 20 min she went inside.

Vicky go n call geet. Uska tabiyat bhi thik nahi hain she should not stress.

Vicky went in n saw her hugging maan. Vicky thought she is trying to wake him.

Bhabhi called vicky.

No response.

He went n shook her bhabhi..

still no response. He panicked n again shook her but no response.

Immediately he went out n called doctor.

Doctor bhabhi fainted..

all are shocked to hear this. Immediately doctor came n checked her pulse.

Omg.. her pulse is coming down.

All r hell worried n pooja told doctor kuch kijiye bhabhi ko kuch nahi hona chahiye.

Eventhough maan is in coma he is able to listen all this. When he heard that geet fainted his heart beat increased but still he is unconcious. He struggling to open his eyes but not able to.

Gynacologist checked geet n told hum geet ko jaldi operation karna chahiye. She is in so much stress. Agar hum operation nahi kiye tho both geet n babies will be in danger.

Doctor plzz geet aur babies ko kuch mat hone dena. Plzz save them told mom.

they took geet to the OT who is still unconcious. Here maan is not able to save his jaan n due to his condition he is not able to get out of coma but his heart beat is increasing for his jaan.

Here geet too struggling for her life n their children. Docotor's r operating geet.

On the other hand geet is in OT n doctor's trying hard to save both geet n babies. Due to the sudden shock her BP increased which is not at all good at this time. Doctor's r trying to make her BP normal but it became impossible in her state. But they continued operation.

Here maan is responding to the medicines but his position is better than before but even now he is in critical condition.

Outside mom, papa, pooja n vicky are in tears thinking about both maan n geet.

Mom yeh kya hogaya bhai aur bhabhi kal tak sab kuch thik tha aur ab said pooja crying.

Vicky hugged pooja n told shhh shhh kuch nahi hoga bhai aur bhabhi ko. Kuch nahi hoga. Dekho they both will come home soon with babies.

Sachi??? nothing will happen to them na.

Vicky closed his eyes not sure what to tell. He is also breaking down from inside. His brother, his guide, his friend is inside struggling for his life. Here his bhabhi, his friend n his saviour is also in the same position with babies. The most important persons in his life are in critical condition.

He couldnt able to control n left from there n sat in car crying his heart out.

Bhai n bhabhi nothing will happen to u. u have to come back for each other, for me, for our family. We cant live without u. we want u. plz come back plz plz hamare liye.

he is crying bitterly.

Here doctors came out of the OT n told that babies are fine. A boy n a girl. They became very happy.

Doctor geet thik tho hain na asked pooja.

Her BP is very high. We cant tell anything now told doctor n left from there.

They dont know what to do, they should be happy for arrival of babies or should be sad for maan n geet. Today their dream, their life, their BABIES came to this world but both are lost in each other.

Here geet is in shock seeing maan in that condition n here maan is struggling for his life. He knows that his jaan needs him the most at this time. But who knows the game of god.

Will they both be able to come out of their conditions, atleast for their babies. Maan n geet waited for this moment for long time. When their wish is fulfilled they are not in a position to enjoy their joy of their life.

A nurse came out n gave the babies to mom n pooja. They took the babies in their arms. They are smiling, they are looking so cute. Free from all griefs, they dont know that their mom n dad are not in a position to take them in their arms.

Suddenly both the babies started to cry as if they came to know about their parents. They are crying for their parents, to take them in their arms. Will this be possible??
