Geet slowly collected her belongings and left out of the room sighing sadly.Maybe that was all she deserved!

A life with no expectations.

Why didn't anyone care about her ever?

Neither her father nor her brother-Not even Maan!

Geet turned to leave when her eyes fell on a small photograph.She bent doen and took the photograph and her eyes widened with great surprise and her lips turned into a smile.

In the photograph was Maan,maybe he was 16 years old hugging an old lady.Maan was grinning widely.

She placed the photograph on her heart and an unknown calmness and warmth settled over her.

She again looked at the photograph and felt it again-the feeling of nostalgia.

She felt as if she knew the woman.But who was she?Where is she?

Maan had reached home with Sasha who was silent too.

Sasha slowly glanced at him.His face was veiled with pain.She wanted him to speak up.

She still remembered the days when Maan,she and Adi would play pranks on everyone.They had enjoyed quite a lot before Ragini's death.

After Maan lost Ragini he was more of a statue rather than her friend,her guide.

Sasha turned towards the window again as their car stopped in front of her house.She silently got down and told to him gently,"Dont think too much Maan.Because Thinking is meant for those who have brains!"

She giggled and ran away while Maan didn't smile.He couldn't!

He fastly drove towards his home.

"WHAT?!"Annie and Vicky screamed!

"How can he?I mean,he doesn't care about us but you?"Vicky said to Geet who was on the line.

"It is all because of me Vicky.I wish I took back my words!kash!"she sighed.

Annie grabbed Vicky's mobile.

"Bhabhi,you can't blame yourself for everything,can you?"

They talked for a few minutes when Maan entered Annie's room.

"bhabi,we'll talk later"she said and hung up.

Maan's eyes were cast down.

"Bhai?Aap?yahaan?"annie asked.

Vicky glared at Maan with pure contempt and said,"Annie I am leaving!"

"Vicky wait!"Maan said causing Vicky to stop.

"Actually,I will be leaving for Sydney for a month..So I thought that maybe..You both could..I mean.."Maan stuttered.

Vicky abruptly turned back and said,"Look Mr.Khurana,I hate to interfere in your stuttered speech because I've lots of other important things to do.I have my State Championship next week and I need to practise for that.So if u will excuse us"

Vicky dragged Annie with him and walked away leaving Maan broken-the second time in a day!

One Month Later..

The flight from Sydney landed at the Delhi Airport.Geet,Vicky and Annie were gathered at the airport.

Annie's eyes searched for her brother and she was quick enough to spot him.

"Bhai!"she yelled as she waved at him.

Maan smiled and walked towards her.Annie ran towards her brother and nearly jumped over him hugging him tight.

Maan was taken aback,but the hug-it felt so good.

It felt as if he was yearning for it.He slowly lifted his arms and hugged his sister tight and closed his eyes.,

It was a long time since he had felt the feeling.He felt his knees getting wesk.

'In his arms was his baby sister whom he hated very much yet she was the one wjo truly accepted him-just the way he was!

Maan felt he'd break down any moment.

There were so many emotions coursing through him that could never be expressed in words.

Maan broke the hug and saw Annie smiling through tears.He wiped her tears and she said,"I am glad that you are back bhai"

Maan noted her tone.It was really different.It was as if his coming would make a great difference in her life.

But what?

His mind swirled with these questions and that was when his eyes locked with Geet's.

To cherish the moment,Maan felt as if the world stopped rotating and the wind forgot to blow.

There stood the woman in bone and flesh.

The same woman who never had left his mind-even for a millisecond!
