car met with an accident, the truck hit the side of his car and had fled from the spot to avoid any trouble, however Uday's car slipped to the right because of the truck's hard blow, and it ended up bumping into a tree ... Luckily Uday survived, he wasn't badly harmed since the air bag protected him, however his forehead and lip were bleeding due to the cuts. But all this didn't matter to him, all he wanted to do was to get to his Manyata as soon as possible before she landed herself in trouble.

From what Uday realized, though not being too far away from the hotel ... he was still on a deserted road, with no man around for miles, and his car was badly damaged, it was definitely not going to manage to drive for one more mile, Uday feebly got out of the car ... and he decided to walk the rest of the way to the hotel, or perhaps even run if it took him long to get there.

Manyata on the other hand, had had enough of this party ... she didn't know why Chiki and Soni kept bringing her a number of drinks, she wasn't thirsty and didn't want any, but it was like they were adamant to make her drink any sort of liquid ... she wondered why. On the other hand, Akash to insisted she would consume some drink, but she didn't know why she didn't feel like having anything at all that these guys were offering her.

Akash: Oh Come on Moniya, have something ... have some cocktails?

Manyata: Akash, you know I don't consume alcohol ...

Akash: I know you don't, but there's no harm in having some non-alcoholic cocktail's is there?

Manyata: But I still don't feel like drinking anything and now please stop forcing me and please stop getting into formalities.

Manyata's patience was being tested constantly, she even started having second thoughts on how she ever considered Akash, Chiki and Soni ... fun to be around, and how the hell did she ever get along with them since they are quite irritating, she also felt she didn't feel anything for Akash anymore, there was no charm left in their relationship, but why?

Akash: Chiki, Soni ... this is not done ... we have to get her to drink something without getting her suspicious about it. Agh, this is soo frustrating ... and you were so right, this is not the Moniya we all once adored, this is Manyata ... In the Ladies Room, Manyata grew desperate ... she constantly was trying Uday's number and he wasn't attending at all, she could bet she gave him like a hundred missed calls, what made her more anxious was the fact that Uday never did this, he would always attend her phone right at the first bell even if her were in a meeting, but what urgent meeting could he be in at this time? She wondered, she looked at her watch and it was 11pm ... she tried Uday's number again, and no reply, she phoned Unnati ... Unnati told her that the last she phoned Uday, he was in the car ... and he said that he was going to look for Manyata, she also told Manyata that he sounded quite worried.

Looking for me? She wondered ... I told him that I was off to meet Akash then why would he be so worried and wanting to look for me? She thought. Ohh God, I really hope Uday's fine, why is my gut feeling telling me that he's not ... I should leave now...

Manyata comes storming out of the ladies room with a worried expression, she spots Akash, Chiki and Soni having a conversation and decides to inform them before she leaves ...

Manyata: Hey guyz.

Akash suddenly changes his mood, from extremely angry to extremely calm ... Chiki and Soni notice this and are shocked, something's not right with Akash, either he's really depressed or it's his mood swings, but Akash never showed signs of mood swings before, and now that he is ... it's pretty weird.

Akash: Ah, Moniya you came finally ... we were just talking about you ... would you like a drink.

He offered her a glass of juice...

Manyata: No thanks Akash, I can't ... I mean I will have to leave now ... please let me go it's very important...

Manyata looked up in shock, and she knew who that "someone" was that Akash was referring to ... perhaps because it is true ... maybe she does love him ... it's for her to discover she thought.

Manyata: Look Akash, I don't have time for your nonsense ... I really have to go ... Bye.

Manyata was about to leave only to be held tightly by the wrist by Akash.

Manyata: Ouch Akash let me go!

Akash: Moniya, tell me that you love me and I'll let you go ... and if you don't I'll still let you go, but I'll get you back by hook or by crook ... you can do it the easy way or the hard way ...

Manyata was shocked at Akash's attitude, time had changed him so much, and as she peered into his eyes, she saw a weird aspect of them ... his eyes were red, not with tears, but with rage ... his behaviour was abnormal and his signaled it clearly, he was definitely not in the right state of mind.

Manyata: No, Akash I don't love you ... and do what you want ... but let me go for now ...

Akash let Manyata go but .. to himself he said...

Akash: You can run Moniya but you can't hide, I'll get you back and everything that comes with you, you just wait and watch.

On the other hand, Uday was getting exhausted, his back was aching really bad from the jerk in the accident, and his legs were killing him from all the walking ... he didn't know how far the hotel was, but he knew he had to keep going and for the first time he prayed for someone else, he asked God to protect Manyata ...

Manyata went out of the hotel ... she stood in the car park ... no one was around except for a few cars, how would she get back she thought ... no taxi, auto or bus would be available at this late hour ... so what could she do? And her phone ran out of credit to, she couldn't phone anyone to pick her up ... she looked towards the main road ... it was a deserted one, but it was the only road she could see, she thought if she would walk a little perhaps she'd find some type of public transport link ... she walked and walked ... but to no avail ... she was all alone in this dark, quite road ... next to a jungle, she was beyond scared and tired, there was no sign of a living being as far as the eye could see, she was thirsty and desperate to see Uday ... where would her feet take her today? She thought.

At a distance she saw a bench ... she decided to go sit there ... she should rest a bit, her legs would kill her otherwise...

She made her way to the bench and sat there, leaving a sigh of relief ... she leaned back onto the bench's post ... closing her eyes and trying to calm her nerves down ... but the she felt like someone was watching her, or at least following her ... she turned around to see no one nearby, it was scary for her nonetheless ... she prayed for her protection ... And as she did she saw a figure of a tall, handsome built man coming at a distant, she couldn't make out of who he was, since her eye sight was not the best around town ... but since it seemed to be a guy, dressed decently, she presumed he hailed from a good family, and could help her ... so she jumped up and started waving her hands in air ... and scream "Heyy heyy heyy"

Uday had decided to slow down a little, he trusted himself to get there before Manyata is harmed or anything, but he was quite tired ... he decided to let the cold breeze of the rainy season sweep over him, and he started mumbling a song, his wounds were hurting him, but he managed to ignore the pain ... but then he heard a girl's shouts ... he looked ahead ... and to his joy the girl ahead screaming at him for help, was none other than Manyata, he could see her from a distance because he had the brilliant eye-sight of a hunter. A 100 watt smile spread across his face and energy zoomed into him ... he ran towards the girl he knew was his.

Uday: Manyata!!!

Manyata was shocked that the guy knew her name and even more shocked to find his voice familiar.

Manyata: Uday?!!

Uday: Yes, Princess it's me ...

Manyata: OMG! It's Uday ...

Both of them could be titled there and then as the happiest people on planet, that's how happy the duo were at finding each other in this remote area ... like finding an oasis in the desert.

They ran towards each other, forgetting all their fatigue ... Manyata ran and jumped onto Uday, and gave him a tight hug, her feet in mid-air, and Uday literally carrying her, both of them hugged each other like they had not seen other in years, in fact it had only been three hours.

Uday held onto Manyata, Manyata's eyes were closed and so were his ... he was soo relaxed after seeing her perfectly fine.

Uday: Thank God, you're alright Princess, I'm so glad to see you!

Manyata: Thank God, Uday you're alright... I was worried sick about you, you know!

She broke the hug and was shocked to see his state, he was bleeding from the head, though the blood was dried the wound was quite bad, his lip was bleeding to.

Manyata: OMG! Uday, what happened to you? You're bleeding.

Uday: Oh nothing, it was a small car crash princess, nothing to worry about.

Manyata: Halkat Veda, were you born without brains, or were you too hungry when you were born so you decided to eat your brains instead? You call this a small crash??? And tell me not to worry about it ... Idiot you're bleeding ... P...

Manyata's blabbering would've continued if Uday hadn't hushed her by putting his finger on her rosy pink lips, Manyata looked at him and he thought she looked adorable when she was angry! He went closer to her ...

Uday: Why so worried princess? I'm not your suhaag yet ... (husband) ... ah, I missed your anger!

Manyata punched him in the chest, to which he wailed in pain, and then she folded her arms and turned around facing the other side ... she was being childish ... and he absolutely loved it ... it was like the sweet fruit of his patience and agony for the past 2 hours ... he forcefully turned her around and brought her into a bear hug and then kissed her on the forehead ... Manyata hugged him back ...

And then droplets of Monsoon season's first rain started to drop, Uday grabbed Manyata's hand and the ran under a tree for shelter ...
