Angad smiled at this. His plan was working.
Sujal: ok. I will leave now. I am getting late. Tell me what happened at the doctor's place. Bye.
He kissed both the girls on their cheeks & left. Angad was surprised that how free these 3 were in each other's presence. Adi didn't mind her husband kissing other girl in her presence.
Kripa: What u going to wear 4 Swyam's party tonight?
Adi: v shall see later. What I am worried about is that v have convinced him to come. But I don't want another mess at the party. I hope they don't end up fighting again.
Kripa: relax. Nothing will happen. Be positive. Ok sweet heart.
Adi: (smiles faintly)I will.
Kripa: come on I have made the break fast now u will have to make the lunch.
Adi: no plz. I am not feeling well.

Kripa smiled wickedly & left.
Adi: if u need any help don't call me. If she comes to know that I have helped u she will kill me.
Angad: relax I can manage.
Adi: best of luck.
Adi left for her room.
Angad was doing dishes 4 some time now when Adi joined him & started helping him.
Angad: u urself said that Kripa will kill u if u help me.
Adi: she is not at home. She has gone to the market. She will take time.

He does as he is told with every1 cheering in the background. This happens with many people. Finally the bottle stops on Sujal.
Sujal: now what do I have to do?
Announcer: u, Kripa & Adi have been best friends as far as I can remember. U have married Adi. That was a very brave way to propose to Adi as it is her record to hit people who have proposed to her.
Sujal: so do u want me to propose to her again.
Announcer: v will not be that good to u. U have to propose to Kripa.
Sujal: no way. 2 reasons 4 that- 1st she is married & 2nd I love my wife & cant propose any1 else except her.
Guy1: don't tell me Sujal that u r scared of Adi.
Adi: no he is not & to prove u wrong he will complete the bet.
Sujal: only if Kripa agrees.
Kripa: to prove Swyam wrong I will do anything.

Adi: she has only told Summi & she called me up when Anjali bhabhi took my address.

Adi: Sujal has called her up to take care of me as he can't see me in pain.

Adi: well I have been detected in the early stages of uterus cancer.
Angad: I am sorry. I didn't knew.
Adi: even Sujal & Kripa think that I don't know from what I am going through. They have not told me about it. They have told me it is a minute infection. I had heard them talking when Kripa had come to the hospital the 1st day.
Angad: but y this pretendence?
Adi: they both try to keep me happy & so be happy. At least there is a good atmosphere in the house.
Angad: u know u r a very nice person.
Adi: ur wife is better than me & I can prove it in tonight's party.
Angad: please don't give me 1 more shock. I was shocked to see her in those modern clothes. I thought that she didn't like them.
Adi: she wears all types of clothes. She does what the other girls do. But she also knows her responsibilities. If she is in business then a completely business attire. No messing with it.
Angad: she knows to do business?
Adi: Sujal, I & Kripa have helped set up R&G again. Some time back it was a sinking ship.
Angad: u gave me an idea to go close to her.
Adi: do go close to her but if u love her. If u don't love her & want to hurt her again then I will tell Sujal all about what u have don't to her.
Angad: don't do that.
Adi: so un love her.
Angad: yes I do. Though I have realized it late.
Adi: better now than never. Good luck. Now go wash the dishes before she comes back.
Angad: I know she wants a means to kick me out of the house.

Kripa was back after some time. They had a light lunch & then they went to the doctor. Angad was at the driver's seat while the ladies sat behind.
Adi: y r u making ur husband a driver?
Kripa: what?
Adi: go sit in the front.
Kripa went & sat in the front while Angad gave an evil grin & waved thanks to Adi.
Within 20 min they reached the doctors place. While Adi was in side for treatment Kripa & Angad waited outside. Kripa was pacing to & fro while Angad was sitting calmly.
Angad: if u relax u will feel better.
Kripa paid no attention to him first but After Sometime Angad forced her to sit.
Angad: mind telling what is wrong?
Kripa: she is suffering from cancer. She is in 4 chemotherapy.
Angad: relax she will be ok. Nothing will happen to her. If u worry she will not like it.
Kripa was relaxed a bit. After about an hour the doctor came out. He called Kripa in. Angad followed her inside to be of support.
Doctor: there is good news Kripa. She is responding to the treatment. If everything goes alright v might not have to operate her.
Kripa: thanks a lot Sheetal.
Sheetal: no need to thank me. What else r friends 4? By the way who is this guy?(referring to Angad)
Kripa: I forgot to introduce u 2. this is my husband Angad & this is Sheetal my friend & Adi's doctor.
Sheetal: nice to meet u
Angad: same here.
Then Adi came in the room.
Adi: so now can I leave. I hate coming here.
Sheetal: that means u don't like me.
Adi: I do like u but not as a patient. So r u coming to Swyam's party?
Sheetal: ya u guys?
Kripa: yes v r too.
Sheetal: but Sujal???
Adi: v have convinced him. He is also coming.
Angad: com on lets go.
Adi: ya v have to get ready. See u in the evening Sheetal.

They were home after some time. Kripa & Adi started dressing up 4 the party. Kripa was having a tough time putting up her necklace.
Kripa: Adi… Adi… please help me yaar.
After some time Angad came in the room to help her. His touch sent shivers down her spine. Kripa was surprised this as she realized that she still had feelings 4 him. She thought that she still hated him. As she was still in her thoughts Angad left the room as Quietly as he had come.
After sometime Sujal came back. His eyes were swollen. Adi noticed this.
Adi: looks like u have been crying.
Sujal: y the hell will I cry. It is just that something went in my eyes. They were paining.
Adi: what ever? Now go get ready. I don't want to be late.
Sujal: do v have to? I mean I will take u all out 4 dinner but leave this party.
Kripa: no way go get ready. I will remove ur clothes from the cupboard. Come on.
As Sujal & Kripa left.
Adi: lair. Doesn't know how to lie then also he tries to lie to me.
Angad: how do u know he was lying?
Adi: his eyes were swollen. They don't swell easily. He didn't come to the hospital as he cant see me in there. He is just trying to cover up. Both of them in fact.
Angad: both???
Adi: ya Kripa has gone with him to give him a lecture. To tell him to be strong. I know both of them. If u don't believe me go check out the room.
Angad went to Adi & Sujal's bedroom. As Adi had said Kripa was consoling a crying Sujal. Telling him to be strong. Some how Angad didn't like the closeness Kripa & Sujal shared. He came back quietly.
Angad: ya u were right. But I will tell u 1 thing that I don't like there closeness.
Adi: because u don't trust her enough. But I trust both of them.
Angad: but how come? I mean how can u?
Adi: because I know my husband is scared of girls.
Angad: scared???
Adi: he talks to 2 girls nicely & whatever he wants to. They r myself & Kripa.
Angad: I don't think so.
Adi: want to bet?
Angad: y not?
Adi: I will prove my point but u have to promise me that u will not interfere in it.
Angad: ok. But what's on it.
Adi: if I loose I will treat u all at any place u say. If u lose u will have to propose to Kripa.
Angad: propose to her?? What if she says no?
Adi: I saw her when u were putting necklace in her neck. Take my bet she will say yes.
Angad: only if u say so. Well I was never going to propose to her anyway.
Adi: ok. Then v will change the bet. If u lose I will throw u out of the house.
Angad: I think the 1st one is the best.
They both started laughing. By this time Sujal & Kripa also came down. Kripa & Adi were wearing a light blue micro mini (they both like to wear same kind of dress at the party) while Sujal was wearing a black polo neck with white pants. Angad was wearing a casual t-shirt with leather jeans.
Sujal: I am going as I have lost the bet & as u both have forced me into it but v will have to be back early. I have an important business meeting tom.
Adi: ok. But let us reach there 1st.
