Im really sorry for the late uploading of Part 3.. time constraints..
i suppose many of u were disappointed with nani dying.. i could c many crying emos..in the comments...but so is life.. kabhi khushi ..kabhi gam..😊

PART 3

"I-I cant c u like this arnav.. i can't" ,the words echoed in his ears.Then he felt a cold sensation crawl on his skin.He realised Khushi was freezing and his eyes fell on the waters.

"Khushi.." he slowly pulled her away."you r so cold and ur feet.." .

He quickly dipped his hands in the waters. "Damn,the water is like ice. Why do u do this khushi?".. he interjected in an angry concerned tone.

He lifted her feet out of the freezing waters . His pulse almost stopped as he felt the blood freeze in her veins.

"I m okay" .. she said,trying to assure him...

"Lets go inside " Arnav ordered, unable to think what had happened to her.Softly he held her armas and tried to lift her delicate body.

Khushi didnt move. she looked deeply into his eyes and said in a hushed tone , " We will talk right here Arnav" . She let go off the hold .

She waited there impatiently but he was nowhere in her sight. Then he came in her view holding two blankets and a towel in his hand. he watched her tear streaked face gleam in the darkness.It burned him inside. He couldnt see her cry and definitely not like today.

"u feeling better now?" she simply nodded and gave a weak smile so as to reassure him.

"We have been married for a month now.It wasn't at the best of times", Khushi chose her words carefully." None of us have gotten over nani's -" stopping short as a fresh flow of tears flooded her cheeks.

"khushi, " Arnav searched for words to console her but couldnt find any.he was weak at that.

"i have known you for long arnav.there was nothing but hatred that binded us.Wasn't it so? And all this while .i learnt u were not the same person as i had thought you to be."

Arnav's eyes shot up.He remained silent listening to every word intently.

He was stupefied by what he just heard.Khushi had never spoken in this manner to him. He couldnt believe he was the reason she was crying. He felt weak inside trying to get hold of the situation,but didnt have the courage .

"U stopped believing in love.To u only Anjaliji's love mattered. She became your entire world.There were no emotions existing in your life any more.The little playful child had turned his back to joy and locked away himself in the very depths of his heart.Arnav started finding reasons to insite hatred in himself for the others."

"It does have to.Y do u hurt yourself so badly arnav.When your loved ones se you smile ,it brightens of thier world as if they want nothing , they desire for nothing except your joyful face because that smile comes from your heart.

"Khushi, its too late.. we should sleep now", he didn't want to answer her questions which he knew were going to come to him now.He wanted an escape.

"Nani wouldn't have left us so early had the truth been hushed forever. its me who is to be blamed for all this arnav. If i hadn't been there ,shyam would never have taken away the happiness from your family. i don't know y all this happeneed.

But today i'm asking for one thing arnav.I want you to live i want you to let go off the past that has badly wrenched you from within. Its the hardest thing im asking you to do. Il be by your side even if you continue to hate me. ".. her voice trailed off..

Her words spiralled in his head faster than a cyclone . So , khushi kept blaming herself for all of what had happened. And he hadn't been able to see this. 'How?', he asked himself. 'how could he ?'

" We have to live together for rest of our lives.i'm asking you to love yorself and wipe away the hatred from you have enclosed to walk away. Can you give me this much?".. She finaaly stopped,her eyes brimming with hope and despair at the same time.
