**Flashback**
Khushi waved at her aunt walked into the freezing night. She clutched her coat closer to her body, rubbing her gloved hand, and blew into her palms to instill some warmth in them on the chilly night. She decided to take the shortcut since she was already late.
Suddenly she heard the screams of a girl. She stopped and narrowed her eyes trying to see something in the dark. She could make out two figures; a male and a female.
'Let me go' The girl screamed.
'Shut up! Just shut the hell up! I can't believe you did it. After all we've been through, this is what you do? You ungrateful bitch' the man growled aggressively.
'I'm sorry, please let me go. You are drunk. You are not in your senses. Please stop this' the girl pleaded helplessly.
The man advanced forward dangerously. 'You'll never be forgiven for this. Watch how I ruin your life now'
'I'm sorry. Let me go Ar...' the girl's voice cut off as Khushi yelled.
'Let her go'
Both surprised at the presence of Khushi turned to face her. The grip of the man on the girl loosened and the girl ran away pushing him furiously.
Khushi watched in surprise as the girl ran off without thanking her. She turned back around to see the guy right infront of her. Khushi took a few steps backward and turned to run, but before that the guy grabbed her wrists and pushed her against the wall.
'You did bad by letting her go' He whispered menacingly.
The only thing Khushi remembered were those dreamy brown eyes filled with raw lust and he moved towards her.
That night Khushi who was pure like a Jasmine lost her purity. She was a crumpled flower left on the road. She had lost her everything; her purity, her innocence and her self-respect.
***End of flashback***
Khushi was shaking and sobbing loudly by the time her memories faded. She felt dirty, ashamed and used. She stood up from the ground, walked to the full-length mirror looking at herself. The bruises and hickeys were now a faint sight of light red and pink. She winced, touching them.
'The physical bruises and scars will go, but what about those engraved in the heart' Khushi thought sadly stepping under the warm shower letting the water flow down her flawless body.

She walked to Eeshal's room to see her sleeping peacefully. Khushi smiled, walked over dragging the covers off her.
'Macy, let me sleep' Eeshal whined.
'I was thinking of going to the park. But since you are not interested, I shall go alone' Khushi said trying to stifle a giggle.
Eeshal shot up immediately, 'Take me too please?'
'Ofcourse, but first you have to brush your teeny-weeny teeth and have breakfast' Khushi said rubbing her nose against that of Eeshal's.

Khushi walked down carrying Eeshal.
'Didi, Good Morning' Khushi called coming into the empty dining room. Priya walked in carrying a bowl of cereal and a jug of mik.
'Good Morning Khushi. Sit down for breakfast' she said. 'And Eeshal, have you milk' she called making her way back into the kitchen.
'MACY! I don't want to have milk' Eeshal said making a face.
'Awwwn, But you will have to. Or else, how will we go to the park' Khushi said shaking her head in sympathy, sitting on the chair next to her.
Aryan walked down the stairs dressed in his usual office attire, looking sinfully good.
'Jeeju must be running late like always' Khushi thought laughing.
'Saalee Saahiba, don't laugh too much. I know I am late' Aryan said grabbing a pair of toast and stuffing it in his mouth/
'Aryan, sit and have breakfast' Priya commanded.
'Priya, I don't have time right now. Bye Eeshee' he said kissing her. 'Bye Priya' he added kissing her forehead.
'Bye daddy' Eeshal called her mouth stuffed with food.
'I'm not telling bye to you, you were laughing at me' Aryan said narrowing his eyes playfully.
'Sorry jeeju' Khushi called laughing as he walked out of the house.
'Btw Khushi, why is your lehenga torn?' Priya asked turning to face her. 'The one you wore last night, at your friend's wedding' she added.
Khushi's face darkened as she remembered the previous night's incident.
