Epilogue
They started as friends but they both knew they loved each other immensely.Theirs was a relation of friendship beautified by love.Geet discovered that Maan's life was very tough and challenging.Every single day came with business decisions full of risks.He had to go far and wide for his business trips.But he made sure Geet always accompanied him. He could never ever think of a second without Geet. She,herself being from a business background helped Maan with small things she could not less fascinating for her own beautiful writing plots.A romance-suspense writer,the places she visited formed the base of her stories and ideas. Maan was just awestuck reading her works though he was not very much into reading romantic novels because as for him their own story was the only one he would ever cherish.
They discovered that they were very different from each other ranging from their colour of flowers,their tastes, tea coffee...Because of their difference of opinion,they even had a lot of fights but no one actually took their fights seriously as they just couldn't stay away from each other for even a day.Maan obviously took the first step while Geet waited for him to sort everything out.When Geet,had for the first time, visited his office she was amazed to see Maan in a comletely different avatar.He was a strict follower of discipline and did not tolerate any carelessness with regards to work.His anger was well know but at the same time his employees respected him as he was the best boss one could ever ask for.
In this way Geet got to see various shades of her personality.The more she got to know him,she loved and respected him even more.After a few months of dedicated hardwork, her first ever write-up was ready to be released.She refused to take help of Maan's influence for which Maan was really proud of her.As destiny had it,her book flourished.The confidence of success which Maan wanted to see in Geet's eyes from the time they had met was finally seen of her.
After a year,Maan proposed to Geet for marriage.It was a million dollar moment for Geet in her entire life. Maan had become an inseperable part of her life.Her life was complete.She didn't want anything else.Theirs was the most enchantic wedding anyone had ever witnessed. Their marital life was a bliss. They had becum more protective and caring towards each other.
But at one point of time,they were being tested.Khurana Constructions suffered huge financial losses and got itself strangled in some serious legal cases.It came as a rude shock to Maan as he had never ever expected such a serious downturn.The effect was so much that he became numb with shock and almost went into isolation.Geet had never seen Maan in such a state before. She just couldn't bear to see Maan in pain.Her heart cried.She would do anything under the sun to relieve him.His mind ceased to think of any solution of this sudden setback,he remained behind closed doors... Geet was determined to bring everything back on track but it was obviously not a child's play.She did not lose hope.She was surprised when each and every employee of KC extended their hand to help her. Everyone of them helped her to understand the layout of the cases.She worked hard day and night to arrive at an amicable solution.All this was visible to Maan.In her, he saw a fighter which he had never seen before.Their was passion in her eyes to set everything right.Maan had realized his folly.He, being the captain of the ship, shouldn't have backed out.He did not delay to get into action.Geet was happy seeing Maan like that again.Half of her burden was removed... As time passed by,one by one they won all the cases and freed KC of all the false charges and after eight long months KC was on the road of speedy recovery.
At last everything was back to normal.Maan and Geet were very happy to have stood even the darkest phase of their life together.
After two years, Geet got pregnent. It was time to make their family complete.In those nine months Geet was being pampered like a new-born child. Maan saw to it that Geet got all comforts
which was necessary for the to-be born child.Geet saw a doting father in Maan and concluded that the child was indeed lucky to have a fatherly figure in Maan.
The child was born which brought joy and merriment in the Khurana family.The baby was named Armaan...
Six years later---
Little Armaan Khurana was getting ready for school.
Geet was fixing Maan's tie when Maan kissed her on her cheeks.
"Maaan, Armaan dekh lega toh kya sochega"She looked at him blushing.
"Armaan nahi hai yaha pe " He held her waist and brought her closer,"and anyways even if he sees,he will say dad has fallen crazy for mom"
Their eyes met.There was a sudden flashback for Geet as to how they met,completely strangers,and to choose Maan was the perfect decision she had taken for which she thanked God.
her eyes were moist.Maan gave her a eye-kiss.
Armaan who was watching this from the corridoor thought ,"I wonder how they met.Is this called a pair made in heaven?"
"Do you want to know?"came the voice behind him
"Arjun uncle" he said excitedly.
"Come along,Aunt Annie and I will tell you the story of Maan & Geet- Maaneet."
