Her voice floating in the silent house…….Everyone was was listening to her rooted in their spot……Prithvi busy in his guitar...no one noticed his presence in the room…..But Angad's eyes were solely towards Kripa…….her face glowed due to the overhead light…..her soft mouth curving in small smiles…..her beautiful voice flowing through the room…..Her earing touching her neck and shoulders when she moved her head…..She looked so sensational…….

Angad regreted the day, he had left the program…..he could have seen it too….only if…but he sighed and got up……No way, not for all 4 hours, there was no way he could have gone through that torture……….He thought frowning……..He looked at the time……..He had flight in 3 hours and needed to rush…..
Kripa's eyes met his, she smiled as, he gave her thumbs up sign and went off the room unnoticed by others, when everyone was talking….
Kripa and Mahi said bye and walked towards their home after few minutes…….
M: Miss. Kripa Sharma…..I did not know you had so many admirers….she said grinning….Josh, Shabd, Prithvi….and not to mention the one eyeing you…..Angad Khanna……ha ha…..
K: Mahi….enough….Josh ek flirt hai…..Shabd sirf yahan ata hai, kyun ki woh Prithvi ka friend hai, Prithvi ki already girl friend hai, aur Angad, woh pehli bar humara gana sunane aya hai……..he never comes with all of us…..Stays away from temple, as far as I know….that's it…..we just met a couple of times….so, don't get all your hopes up….she said smiling sweetly at her…..
Mahi made faces at her and went in……
Surya was sitting there on the table…..with Gayatri, drinking his tea……Kripa smiled as soon as she saw him…..He smiled at her and asked her about her day….after a while he looked at Mahi….
S: Mahi….baitho….he said sternly….Kripa looked at them frowning…..She looked at Gayatri asking what the matter was….Gayatri kept a hand on her lips and told her to stay quite…..So, tell me…..what was so important, that you had to go so urgently to university….
Mahi without a hesitation, explained to him what she wanted to do…..about the exam for the scholarship…..etc…..
Surya looked through the papers and talked to her for a while…..He was still angry on her stubbornness…..but Gayatri had calmed him down and told him to listen to her and see what she wants….and think over it…..Surya agreed and was trying to look through it…..
Finally, once pratham came home, and discussing this with him, he gave permission to give the scholarship exam…..But told her that, he would never again tolerate any type of carelessness on her part….Mahi agreed a little reluctantly……saying she will take care that it does not happen…..
She sighed and went to her room and closed her eyes….God why did her parents behave as if she was a baby……for Gods sake they should know, that she could take care of her self…..she shook her head and slowly fell asleep soon enough…
Kripa came and saw Mahi sleeping peacefully….She must have been tired…..she thought with a smile….She covered her up and switched off the light closing the door lightly…..Mahi smiled snuggling in the bed, seeing Kripa going out….and fell asleep again….
Kripa on the other side, kept thinking about Angad….he had stared and stared at her all the time she was singing…..She should get annoyed….but for some reason, she wasn't……she felt the attraction between them strongly and was struggling hard not to think about it…..it was so weird that they had hardly met 3-4 times….she sighed and closed her eyes and fell asleep too….
Days went by…..Mahi met Shabd couple of times and got the information she needed, including getting students
visa, etc….she started studying for her exam which was in 3 days….Kripa became busy in classes….Thankfully she did not meet Angad from last 4-5 days and came to know about his business trip from Prithvi later…..
Pratham took Mahi to her exam and Mahi passd with flying colors…….Kripa was happy about it and she hugged her and said so……
It was evening and she, Mahi and Prithvi were going to Josh's house, as his mom had called them all for Aliyah's birthday…….
M: Kripa…..I am tired…….Please…….tum jao…….mein aaram karna chahti hun……….
K: Mahi chalo na…….Aunty ne tumhe bhi le ane ke liye kaha…
M: Kripa…..tumhe pata hai na ki mein kitna bor ho jati hun aise functions mein…..Please……

They reached Josh's house……Kripa was surprised that there were hardly 15-20 friends…….. Aliyah had said
that she wanted to invite all her friends for the party, and she knew that she had many……..and Josh was so wealthy, so expected some thing big…….But, it felt good, without loud music and everything……..
Josh came to her, as soon as he saw her…….
J: Hi Miss. Beautiful……..!! He said grinning…….Kripa blushed a little……..So, where is your twin…..Miss……?He asked a little confused…….
Kripa chuckled, when Angad came from behind and said………
A: Kripa……..Josh raised his eyebrow and Angad smiled and looked at Kripa……Miss. Kripa…..he said slowly……….Kripa smiled and blushed, looking down, surprised that he could make out the difference, even though Josh and she had met many times……..
J: And how do you know? He asked frowning…..Angad shrugged smirking and looked at Kripa…….Kripa? He asked looking at Kripa…….and she nodded……..He grinned……Care for a dance……? Kripa shook her head………
P: Yaar tu phir se chalu ho gaya…….Prithvi said coming in with a frown……Usse kabhi to akela chod de……..
J: Kya karun Prithvi…….hay ye ada, ye awaj aur ye khubsurat chehra…….Dil hai ki manta nahi…….he said grinning…….Kripa laughed at him, and went to Aliyah leaving the three at the door………Josh kept looking at her with a sigh and Prithvi tapped on his shoulder…….Josh frowned and looked at him……..
P: Uske papa ko pata chala na ki tu uspar line mar raha hai to ghar se nikalna bandh kar denge uska…….he said frowning……..
J: For your information, my intentions are quite honorable…….Isiliye mummy ne isse party pe bulaya hai…….Prithvi looked at him wide eyed……….And josh started chuckling…….. Cool down yaar…..Are pehle kudi to milne de, phir ma ko bhi manaunga…….
P: Woh hi kyun……Mahi bhi to hai……..
J: Nope……Pehli baar jisse dekha…..bas dil usika ho gaya…..bhagwan deta hai to chaappar phad ke deta hai……Ek ki jagah do de di…….Mere sath kisi aur ka bhi naseeb khulne wala hai…….Josh grinned putting a hand on Angad's shoulder……
Angad frowned at Josh…..
A: Man…..you should concentrate on your career at this point, rather than girls…..he said, not liking the way
Josh kept staring at Kripa……….
J: Are Angad yaar……job aur career to chalte rehte hain…….par aisi kudiyan nahi milti…….haath se nikal gayi na sari umr pachtana padega….…he said grinning and leaving him……..Prithvi just shook his head and followed him, but Angad frowned at Josh, hating it that he was persuing Kripa so much……He looked up and saw him grinning at her and she chuckling at some thing he said……..Her eyes then met his and she looked away for a second……..He shook his head, thinking why he was thinking about all this and then went to take a drink for himself………Rather than telling Josh, it was he who should concentrate on the Job and career…..He thought frowning…….
Al: Kripa ek gana suna na…….she said smiling……..
K: Allu, mujhe dekhte hi gana kyun yaad ata hai tumhe………she said chuckling…….whenever they met, they would be behind her to sing……..
Al: Jadu hai, tera hi jadu…….she started singing with a grin……and Kripa started laughing at her…..Angad
looked around, when he heard her laughter………She looked so beautiful, carefree, when she laughed……..he thought drinking and staring at her……
P: Aliyah….This is not fare……..Har saal to mujhe kehti ho…..aur aab…..he said frowning at her…..
J: Are tu nahi samjhega…….Kala ko aur khubsurti ko parakhna padta hai…..He said looking at Kripa….
K: Mr. Josh….can you please stop…….she said sweetly…..
J: Yes Maam…..he said bowing and grinning at her…….Kripa chuckled….
P: Tu nahi sudhrega...he said shaking his head…….
Al: Thik hai Prithvi….chalo sath mein gao…..and please Kripa mana mat karo…..she said making faces……Kripa slowly nodded…..her eyes constantly looking at Angad, while he was busy drinking……..
J: Abe Angad, yahan aa na……what are you doing there man……all alone……he said frowning and going to him, when he found Kripa looking at him…..Shabd joined them too at that very moment.………He looked at Kripa and then looked around…….He was not sure who she was Kripa or Mahi…..but then thought about what Kripa had said……She wore traditional more….so may be Kripa…..
S: Hey Aliyah…….Happy Birthday……..he said hugging her and giving her the gift……..

S: Kripa…..Kripa looked up and smiled and he sighed……..Mahi nahi ayi….?
K: Nahi, uska aaj exam tha, aur thak gayi thi…..to nahi ayi…..

K: Bahot acha tha……she might join the college soon…….

As soon as the song was over……..all of them cheered and thanked Prithvi and Kripa……Kripa shyly mumbled thanks and tried to walk away, but Angad's hand were still around hers……..She looked up hoping he would loosen up and he slowly left her, she smiled at him uncertainly and then went off to where Aliyah was all ready to cut the cake……..Angad kept looking at her…..He did not know why he did what he did, but he had not liked the fact that she was dancing with Josh……..He could not see her with any one else, though he was not ready to date any one just yet, seriously…….He was confused……..He knew he was attracted, but also knew that his career was more important to him……..And frankly speaking, she was not the type of girl, he would want as a life partner...And further, he had to achieve what he had planned, and this would be a distraction……..But still he couldn'tt help himself and kept staring at Kripa once in a while.……
They all had some Italian food prepared by Josh's mom and then after talking for some time, started leaving………..
P: Kripa, tum thodi der baitho….mein Tanya ko chod ata hun, phir jate hain…..Kripa smiled and nodded……..
A: If you don't mind, you can come with me……….Angad said coming near them…….
P: Sure? Prithvi asked looking at him hopefully………
A: Agar Kripa ko koi problem nahi ho to……..he asked looking at her…….
Kripa nodded……..what else could she say…….She could see Prithvi's eagerness to be with Tanya…….Though, she was a little stunned dancing in Angad's arms……..a little flustered……
A: Chalein? He asked slowly…..

J: Bye beautiful….Josh came with a grin, as they started leaving…..Aliyah too came with him to see her off…….

Angad waved at them both and slowly walked out with Kripa……..No one spoke a word……..Kripa consciously, kept pulling her duppatta up……Angad took her near his car and opened the door for her…..She mumbled a thanks, blushing for the way he opened the car for her……And sat inside…….Angad too came to his side and sat and started the car………He looked at Kripa, who was busy looking out and sighed and pulled out…….
Angad wanted to talk to her, but he did not find any topic common to talk about…….She was in music,which he did not know any thing about……Was full Indian…..and he the exact opposite…….While Kripa, she felt too shy to even look at him, after today's closeness…..The way which Angad kept staring at her…..She had been ok with Josh, Shabd and Prithvi, but whenever Angad came before her, she could not speak a word…….She did not know why she felt so conscious about him today……….The car stopped and she looked at him confused…….
Angad chuckled a little…..
A: Tumhara ghar aa gaya……he said smiling……..Kripa looked out and bit her lips…….she looked at him and smiled and slowly opened the door…….Once outside, she bent and thanked him and slowly walked up the steps……….Angad drove off with a sigh……
