Hasini...here is what i think of the 2 merged pics...Yami looks as though she is lost in some other world full of deep secrets and Kunal looks all determined to find out what they are 😊

On second inspection, Yami also seems to be watching something/someone. I can't shake the feeling that she should be sad about it but instead is so jaded that she's not even surprised.

What is she watching? A husband with secrets of his own? An 'other woman', perhaps?

well, to me it looks like, while Yami is keeping her eyes lidded, for the fear of letting her true feelings show, Kunal is daring you to read the truth, the secret as he stares at you in the eye!

Let's build a story for fun...😆

Based on the fact that everyone went for Yami hiding a secret, I will just let it be...

And since Kunal is daring people to read him, let's make him a reporter, who works on Exposes'...(Just like the Kunal from Na bole tum...Na Maine kuch Kaha)

So next question, where is the story happening...For some reason, I'm thinking Lucknow...

Fine...I will add the next bit in the story...

Kunal is going to Lucknow from Mumbai where his Chacha lives. The newspaper he works for has suspended him indefinitely. His recent expose on a bollywood actress, had her kill herself, which has left him numb, stealing that heady high he usually gets from a job well done - of weeding out in public the ugliness that surrounds the glamorous tinsel town. This trip is meant to be the time-off, as advised by his mentor as well as his editor, where he is to do his soul searching.
Once he reaches Lucknow, he finds his room in the second floor of the house, rented out to Yami and her daughter, Naina, a sprightly six year old.

Then?

(Add anything here...this is a game we used to play in workshop...I want to see what turns out with you girls. Humor me, ok?)

I want you girls to build it to the point where Kunal is forced to marry Yami...Only, one rule: Try and see if you can make it as believable and yet uncommon as possible.

So if Yami comes close to looking like the actress, whose blood Kunal has on his hands, then is he pulled to her? Or is he repelled by her? A Mix?

Oh! ajenn, we have not touched on her secret at all. If we go this route of her being a widow and single mother, then there is a lot more baggage than we can handle, don't you think?

Yes, I know that Chacha informs Kunal that she is the mother of the six year old. But how about turning that mother daughter relationship into a lie? What if that is her secret? 😆

Now there needs to be a scene that defines Kunal and Yami's staus quo: Any takers?

Hint: This scene sets up the first impressions about each other.

Ok...something came into my mind just now. How about...Kunal wants to explore the locked store room in the second floor, where Yami has come to live, to get some of his old books out?
Does Yami let him inside or No? Or has she cleaned up the place and given the books away to the Raddhiwala? (Hint: I'm baiting you to create conflict here 😆)
