~Destiny Part 8~
At the library:
Angad reached the library and was waiting for Kripa. She finally came through the doors.
Kripa spotted Angad and walked towards him.
K-Hey how was basketball practice?
A- Pretty good, I rocked like always.
K- I'm sure.
A- So Kripa u ready to write this essay?
K- Angad, I thought you were joking, your really going to help me?
A- Yeah Kripa, I dont look like the "nice type" but thats because I've never had a girl as a friend. So most girls just think of me as "the popular handsome hunk", not that I'm not, but what I'm trying to say is theres more to me than people see.
K- Okay cool, now that I've gotten your whole bio data lets start this!
Angad smiled at her and they began.
A- So u write 12 and a half pages, and I'll write 12 and a half pages, then we'll be done!
K- Cool.
They both started. After 45 minutes Kripa was done. She started to stare at Angad. He was really into the assignment. He was the type of guy any girl would want, nice, sweet, caring, cool, hot, and smart. She smiled thinking of all this.
Angad felt as if someone was staring at him, so he looked around and noticed it was Kripa.
A- Kripa I know I'm hot and everything, but shouldnt u be doing ur work?
Kripa felt embarrassed, but she tried to cover it up.
K- Well Angad, Im done with my work. I was just wondering what was taking u so long.
A- Holy ****, your done already? We've only been working on this for 45 minutes and I only got 6 pages done and you wrote all 12 and a half!!!?!!
K- Calm down Angad. Didn't I tell you I have beauty and brains. Kripa smirked at Angad who was still in shock.
K- I'm just really fast at this type of stuff. Anyways, you finish up that page, and I'll do the rest. It wont take me long. Then we'll go somewhere fun. Okay?
A-Sounds like a plan
Finally they quickly finished the assignment since Kripa was really fast at it.
A- Okay now that we're done, where should we go?
K- Well, how about to some restaurant, I'm really hungry.
A- YEah me too. Okay lets go.
They went outside and went in Angad's car to a restaurant.
Angad drove to a restaurant.
A- Have u ever eaten here, the food great.
K- No, but it smells good, I'm sure I'll love it!
They ordered the food and Kripa just stared at it. It was nothing she expected. Angad had ordered all the food she DIDNT like. ( I dont know what he ordered) Kripa tried being nice about it though.
A- Dig in!
K- nervously- yeah.....
Kripa took a small bite and she hated it.
She drank a lot of water, and ages later it finally went down her throat.
A- So do you like it?
K- Umm....Do I like it, I love it!
Angad smiled and said- I know you would.
K- Hey Angad theres some fortune cookies on the counter can u go get me one?
A- Why? Do u believe in that kind of stuff?
K- Well.....yeah, fortune cookies never lie! Dont your believe in them?
A- Well, to tell the truth I never got one before
K- What? Okay...I guess there's a first time for everything, get two. One for me and one for you.
Angad walked over to the reception desk and got two fortune cookies, meanwhile at the table Kripa threw her food into a nearby plant. By the time Angad came back Kripa's plate was clean.
A- Here you go!
K- Thanks
Angad then looked over at Kripa's plate as she was opening the cookie.
A- Hey Kripa, you eat pretty fast
K nervously and fast- Oh...yeah....umm...I think it.....it...it....it runs in my family because my dads a fast eater too! Plus..the food was really good!
A- I'm glad you liked it.
Kripa went back to opening her fortune cookie.
A- So what does yours say?
K- One second I'm still opening it....okay, it says:
"Look around, your true love has stepped into your life and you have welcomed him."
A-Oh Kripa, how romantic!
K- Whatever, As far as I know, no man that I will love is in my life.
A- laughing-Hey I just came into your life....so you think that man is me?
K-joking but acting serious- Yes Angad, I think that guy is you. Angad I've been wanting to tell you something..I think we're made for eachother. I love you Angad. Plz accept my love.
A- Very funny!
K- Well I guess I'll have to wait and see if my fortune will come true. But for now you open yours.
A- No, I dont think I want to.
K- But why?
A- Well, in a couple of years I'll see if what it had written in it came true or not.
K- Okay, so you break the cookie and I'll read it. Then whenever it comes true, I'll tell you! How about that?
A- Well....okay.
Angad broke his cookie and handed the fortune to Kripa. Kripa read the fortune to herself it said:
"The one who loves you, will make you weep"
After reading it Kripa folded the fortune and put it inside her purse.
A- So....was is a good fortune or a bad fortune.
K- Angad, when it comes true, I'll tell you and then you decide for yourself, okay?
A- Okay, so I'm stuffed.
K-lied- Yeah, me too. So let's go.
A- Okay
As Angad was driving he pulled over to some place.
K- Hey where are we?
A- One sec, you stay here, I'll be back in a minute.
K- But..
A- One minute
Angad left and Kripa had no idea where he went.
A couple of minutes later he came back with a bag in his hand.
K- Whats that?
Angad handed Kripa the bag.
A-Here, its for you.
K- But what's is it?
A- Look inside.
Kripa looked inside and she saw a pizza in the bag.
A- I thought you might be hungry.
K-lying- Umm no I'm full, we just ate, ... remember?
A- Wrong, I just ate, you threw your food out.
Kripa looked as if she had been caught stealing candy from a baby.
A- Well eat up!
K- Angad..
A- I know what your going to say, so I'll just skip to the point: Your welcome
K- Actually I was going to ask if you could get me some pop, but....
A- O, i'm sorry, yeah I'll be right back
K-Relax Angad I was just joking, I'm not thirsty
A- Okay, but still I'll be right back
K- I know your going to go get me pop, I really dont want any lets just go.
A- Actually I have to go to the bathroom
K- Ohhhhhhhhhhh, sorry, go ahead
A couple of minutes Angad came back with a coke in his hands
K- Angad, u really shouldn't have
A- I really didn't, this is for me
K- disappointed- Oh, okay
A- Kripa, your so gullible, I was just joking, its for you my queen!
K- Thanks!
Angad was driving Kripa home. As Angad was driving and talking to Kripa, Kripa was listening and eating her pizza. Kripa's home came soon.
K- Well, see you tomorrow.
A- Bye, thanks
K- Shouldnt I be thanking you, afterall u helped my on my essay, you took me to a restaurant, you bought me pizza, you...
A- Kripa, has anyone ever told you, you talk A LOT!
Kripa smiled at Angad.
K- So I guess I'll be going now.
A- Kripa, for the record, I said thanks to you because if it wasnt for you, I dont think I would actually have as much fun as I did.
K- Bye Anagd
A-Bye, I dont forget to tell me when my fortune comes true.
K- Don't worry, I'll wont.
