As she was working in her cabin she got lost in her thoughts.
Naina's monologue:
I am Naina, Naina Singh Ahlowalia. My story is probably one of the world's oldest stories. Yes all that stuff that happen in movies, step mom, rude sister , no one to love u. its really fun to watch those heart touching movies, isn't it? Because in the end the heroine gets a hero, who is good looking and loves u madly and at last they get married and live happily ever after. But guess what, all that crap doesn't even go near the word "reality". Because reality is cruel, even if u want to die u can't, u have to face the society.
Her thoughts were disturbed by knock on her cabin.
Come in- she said.
A girl came in and informed her very formally, that there boss has asked her to come in the meeting room in the next 15 minutes.
As the girl was going she asked her to close the door so she can once again fight her thoughts.
My mom secretly married my dad knowingly that he was already married and have a daughter. It was a love marriage for them. My dad 1st marriage was an arrange marriage even though he always tried to act as if he was happy but his actions would always tell sangeeta that he wasn't. And it wasn't long before sangeeta knew that mr.ahlowia is re-married. That all made sense to her, which was the reason he would come home so often.
But she kept quite, she never said anything. She loved her husband knowing that he never cared about her, even before he was re-married. She had three kids by then. Mia knew all about Naina and being a kid she missed her dad's great hug. She missed him picking her up. Yes she was jealous, she was jealous of Naina. She never got that love she deserved. And the kids were too young to understand anything. Heer was probably 1 and half old and sunny was just two weeks old when they heard that Mr. and Mrs. Ahlowlia (N mom) died. Naina was 17 then and mia was a year old then her. Mr. Ahlowlia knew that his second wife had passed a way and he didn't have enough time either. So he requested sangeeta to take care of Naina as she was just 17. Sangeeta, who loved her husband, accepted his last wish halfheartedly.
Sangeeta knew that Mrs. Ahlowlia (naina's MOM) was the main reason of his husband death. They all were crossing the road when all of a sudden her head start spinning and she was un-conscious. It wasn't long before they heard a truck approaching, Mr. Ahlowlia knew it was too late, he pushed naina off the road and try to hold his un-conscious wife, but he could never make it. Mrs.ahlowalia died in that very moment, but Mrs.ahlowalia made it to hospital to request sangeeta.
All her thoughts were shattered by a knock on her room again.
Oops- she said, as she remembered she had to go meet her so called boss.
Come in.
Ma'am sir is calling u. the girl said.
M sorry, I'll be there. Naina said feeling guilty and embarrass at same time.
She got her purse and made her way to his office.
As she was making her way to his office she couldn't stop her self thinking about raj. Even if she tries for the thousand times she couldn't lay to her self. He was irresistibly handsome. She smiled and felt heat reaching up her ears, and realized she was blushing. Bushing? What the' but instantly removed that small smile from her face as she knocked on his door.
Come in, a sharp voice came.
He watched her as she made her way in his cabin. She was surprised by his polite figure. He wasn't winking at her and he wasn't flirting, he was just calmly watching her. Was he Ok? She thought.
Does it take 15 minutes to reach my office? He asked with a rough voice.
She was surprised at the way he spoke to her, was he angry about what she did today. Well, SHE is the one who should be angry at. Why can't he live in peace, he snatched my job and he want me to work for him. Why can't he find a girl for him self and play bed, bed. I have to answer mom and mia, I want to help her, when she helped me, when I had no where to go, she could've throw me in an orphanage.
Her chains of thoughts were broken by his sudden harsh voice.
I am not going to wait for Ur answer till eternity, u r here to work for me so do so.
Yes sir, she said.
You are here to get details about what Ur going to do. It shouldn't be a hard thing to understand, because it's the same thing as u did before in the previous company.
She nodded her head slightly as he gave her the files
Not to mention she was this close to sleep in his very cabin, while he was giving her those baseless instructions.
Even after giving her all those instruction and seeing her yawning he still wasn't satisfied.
After pausing for a whole minute he burst out.
R u engaged?
What? She said, oh I knew this was goanna come. This guy, oh how could I, even for a second thought he was behaving himself.
Why can't u for a minute not think me as a drunker or a spoiled rich man, is it really hard for u to think me as a decent man?
Of course it is, she said making her way out of the room before he could say anything further. But he was fast enough. He blocked her way before she could move any further.
She gasped as she saw the inch distance between them.
Her sweet breath heated his cheeks. It was all so fictional, just one touch, one touch and u make me forget everything, raj thought.
He was surprised; she didn't even tried to push him, or yelled at him. None, she just looked at him like she was hypnotized.
He closed the distance between them by taking her sweet Patel lips in his. Oh god they felt so good. He kissed her slowly and gently, holding her face gently from both of his hands. She closed her eyes cherishing the moment as she held his shoulders. She opened her mouth to respond to him, he slipped his tongue inside her mouth, licking and touching every corner of her mouth. It wasn't like it was his first kiss, but these sweet lips were different from others.
There was an urge to touch him, touch him? What on the earth was she thinking? She pushed him with all her force, but still he made no movement.
Oh that was so it, she said to herself as she kicked him in the part where it hurts the most.
Ouch! He shrieked in pain.
