Maan- Ae Prem bata mai kaisa lag raha hu?
Maan asked, checking himself in mirror for the umpteenth time.

Prem rolled his eyes.
Prem- Haan looking good. Waise tum jaa kahan rahe ho?
Maan blushed- Wo geet ne mujhe dinner pe bulaya hai.
Prem- Oooh... Toh yeh baat hai. Mai bhi chalta hu na phir, mujhe sirf apne liye kahan banana padega.
He teased Maan.
Maan retorted- Nai tu kya karega jaa kar. Pata nai khana kaisa hoga... Why take risk??
He tried to reason.

Prem- Dost dost na raha...
He sang dramatically wiping the invisible tears.
Prem- Thik hai jaa tu bhi kya yaad karega.
When no response came, he looked for Maan but he was already gone.


Maan stood outside her main door n rang the door bell like a gentleman waiting for his host to welcome him. Geet opened the door n 'thud'. Maan was totally flat while his heart did a small flip-flop with joy. He was completely mesmerized by her. She for the first time was dressed in salwar suit. The purple color of suit complimented her skin tone perfectly.

Wind blew n her flakes moved on her face just like it happen in movies, she gently removed the locks. Ufff... She looked so serene n offcourse damn sexy.

Wow...
Escaped from his mouth n Geet blushed crimson red.
Tum aa gaye...
She asked with a faint smile. Maan did'nt replyed anythhing n just gaped at her like an idiot. But who cares??

Geet was feeling really shy she had wore salwar suit because she had some idea that Maan liked traditional dresses.
Aise mat dekho mujhe sharam aati hai
Maan sighed- Hayee... Toh kaise dekhu...?
He said leaning on the side wall. Geet straightened- Andar aana hai ya nai?

They went inside n Geet made him sit in the living room.

Hmm. Thats a surprise.
Geet again smiled faintly n he remembered the famous proverb 'daal me kuch kala hai' but he ignored it, nothing could be wrong when they are together.
You wait here I'll back in 2 minutes.
Saying this Geet rushed to the kitchen.

Tik-tok Tik-tok Tik-tok... 10 minutes passed then 15. Maan was getting pissed off. He was here to spend time with her n not to sit alone n stare at the furniture.
Maan ST-Yeh ladki dinner bana rai hai ya birbal ki khichdi
Maan-Geet...
He called out.
Haan bas 2 minutes.

He waited for another 15 minutes.
Geet...
He again shouted.

Maan went inside the kitchen n his eyes popped out of the sockets seeing the spectacular scene.

Uneven, big pieces of vegetables scattered on the counter. Some weird red thing was boiling on gas n what was she trying to do...aaa...may be making the dough but it looked like white fluid with exceptional amount of water in it.

Maan was about to burst out laughing but seeing her condition he controlled himself.
Tum andar kyu aaye, mai laa rai thi na.
She said making a cry baby face. Aww!! How cute she looked. Aan just wanted to chew her up, his sweet angel who was doing so much just for him. He wiped her flour stained face with a cloth n led her to the living room.

Tum baitho. Mai dinner banaoga.
Par tum kyu banaoge? maine tumhe dinner pe bulaya hai.
Toh kya hua? Tumne bulaya hai it does'nt mean k tumhi cook karogi. I will cook n then we'll have it together.
Geet nodded sadly.
The Master Chef is at your service. You just wait n watch.
He gave his best smile to cheer her up n went to the kitchen.
