It was another Sunday and the clock stroked 9 and as per the Sunday routine it was time for geet's entry in khurana house. And here she is…

Maan…. Maan….

geet beta, jara idar to aana…..

Geet ran in Avantika's arms,

Not wanting to drink milk, geet hurriedly ran towards Maan's room.

Maan was as usual busy coloring his color book.

Maan… aaj khushi ka birthday hai…

ussne muze nahi bulaya….

Par maine bulaya hai na, tum na mere sath chalna… Maan tum kaha paida huye?

Yahi. Pune main…

Silent engulfed the room, maan again got busy colouring…

Doggy ko color de raha hoo….

Chalona hum kuch khelte hai???

Nahi… abhi nahi baad main… Tumhe pata hai? aaj meri nani aane wali hai…

aur kuch nahi… haan… Kal maine aur papa ne 4 puppies dekhe…

Haan…. Aur ussmain 2 ladke the aur 2 ladkiyaan thi…

Accha??? Par tumhe kaise pata ki 2 ladke the aur 2 ladkiyaan thi?

wo na papa ne bola…..

Maan looked up at her, thought for a while and innocently replied,

wo unhone bacchon ko utha k dekha tha. Niche likha hoga.

Oh…

Satisfied with the answer geet left in search of a toy to play while Maan continued coloring his doggy…

It was evening time, Maan's granny had already arrived. geet was still enjoying in Maan's house. As Granny had agreed to take care of Maan and geet, avantika and rano planned to go out for some shopping. They instructed the kids not to trouble granny and they'll get chocolates if they behave like good children.

avantika and rano happily left for shopping, while Granny sat on rock chair reading magazine. It was around 10 minutes and granny was shocked to hear no noise from Maan's room. She decided to have a look in the room. She slowly peeped in Maan's room and was surprised to see both of them laying on bed and pretending to sleep. She smiled at the kids and left from there. Relieved that Maan and geet are not naughty kids to handle, she decided to take a shower. No sooner granny stepped in shower that the kids started their masti. Granny patiently listened to their noise with a hope it will decrease, but it seemed Maan and geet were in form to create history of World War III because the noise went on increasing. Fed up of the screams granny decided to go out and have a look.

She hurriedly wore a loose gown, while the shower cap was still on. She left towards Maan's room and was shocked to see Maan and geet having a pillow fight. She scolded them and made them sleep; both obediently slept on bed and with full force closed their eyes. Both went under cover. Granny switched off the light and was about to leave, when she heard the kids whisper.

Geet..😕 woh kon tha???😲

mujhe nahi pata…😕

Granny silently left the room and busted out laughing…

Next morning avantika was busy preparing breakfast, and Maan silently sat on the kitchen counter, playing with his maruti zen

Maa tumhare sir main safaid baal hai… mere sir main nahi hai, aaise kyu???

wo kya hai na, jab jab koi baccha apne maa ko tang karta hai, maa ke sir ka 1 baal safaid ho jata hai… Iss liye jab jab tumne muze tang kiya mera ek ek baal safed ho gaya…

Avantika smiled at Maan as guilt was clearly written on his face.

to aap ki wajhse nani ke sir ke sare baal safaid hogaye?

avantika didn't know what to say and what not to say. She herself made a fool out of her…

Days passed, everything changed. Classroom, books, uniform, class-teacher, even some new students were admitted in class. The only thing that didn't changed was Maan and Geet's friendship. It was same as before. Or 1 can say as they grew taller their friendship became stronger.

But as we know life is like a game. No 1 can predict what's next. And same goes here. Veer Handa[Geet's Dad] had to shift to Mumbai for their business's sake. Geet cried whole day due to this decision. But rano assured her that sooner or later they'll return back, she'll make new friends there, new school, new teachers, new house, everything will be new there. And when ever she'll miss Maan they'll pay a visit.

geet some how got convinced. Now it was Maan's turn to create a fuss.

He was no were to listen to anyone. Whole day he was throwing tantrums. He didn't understand how can his geet leave him and go? He don't even have any other friend, nor in school and neither at home. It was time for Handa family to leave for Mumbai.

Handa family came to Kharana house to bid a good bye. Maan was still crying.

geet didnt know what to answer, with expectant eyes she looked at her mom. rano came forward, she dearly picked Maan in her arms.
