Wen i asked him abt himself i cld see his changing expression.he looked kind of disturbed.he was frowning nd den he sighed in frustration.
"i cant remember.who m i??"
he closed his eyes leaning back on the bed.the pain of being 2 one's own identity was visible in his face.it must av hurt him a lot.
"dnt u remember anything?"
he looked up at me helplessly.
"no i jst cant recall anything nt even the phone number."
"i think u need 2 go 4 checkup bt hospital is miles away nd u r nt in condition 2 travel."
"didnt u find anything wid me dat could reveal my identity.he looked so desperate 2 find who he was.maybe he was feeing uncomfortable 2 stay in such a small place wid no facilites.maybe he wasnt able 2 adapt to dis remote area.
"no actually ur car burned down completely...oh ya i found sth in ur pocket."
i handed him the small wooden box i found in the morning washing his cloths.he opened it 2 reveal a beautiful engagement ring,a platinum ring wid a heart shaped diamond in the middle.it was such a beautiful ring like every woman dream to rcv including me.it was the one i had always dreamed of.
"wow its beautiful"i said.
"thanks.actually its my choice"he said proudly wid a glint of happiness dat touched his eyes n curved on his lips as a smile.
"hey u identified it.u bought it frm where,4 whom?come on try 2 remember."
he tried once again bt in vain.
"i...i dnt remember.i just know dat i bought it.dats it."
he tried once more.looking at his expression i cld tel dat he was trying his best 2 remember.

MAAN
wen c showed me the ring i identified it bt just got the blurred picture of me myself bying the ring nd nth else.i tried hard 2 remember nd each time i tried my head felt heavier n heavier.suddenly i felt sharp pain on my head.i pressed my head wid both my hands.
"hey u all right?wat happened"
i cld hear fear in geet's voice.wid my pain c was suffering too.
"my..my head hurts."i said difficultly.
I looked up at her wid pleading eyes,pleading her 2 help me as the pain was unbearable.c made me drink water nd lay down.i cld feel my body weak,my vision was getting blurred nd i was loosing consciousness.

I was afraid wen i saw him in pain.wat if sth happend 2 him?-dis terrified me.4 da 1st time in my life i had done sth 4 some1 else other dan myself n i was afraid.his eyes were pleading me 2 help him.suddenly his body grew limp.i shook his body,called him in vain.he was unconscious.i sprinkled some water bt dat didnt affect him.i ran out of da house in search of help.since the doc's house was a mile away n dere was no vehicle around i ran as fast as i cld.my slippers gave way nd i had 2 run barefoot.though thorns n stones pierced my leg i didnt care coz i had 2 save some1's life which was more important.
Finally i reached doc's house nd knocked the door panting heavily.doc opened the door n asked me 2 sit down 1st bt i had no time 2 waste.
"doctor plz i dnt hav time 2 sit here.plz come wid me,its an emergency."i said panting heavily n dragging him.he asked me 2 relax den he collected the necessary equipment nd drove 2wards my house.i prayed 2 babaji all thru the journey nd treatment.
"he is fine nw.he lost conciousness due to extreme stress"
i sighed wid relief wen i heard it.
"actually doc he met wid an accident 2 days ago.he said he doesnt remember anything.he tried to remember bt fell unconscious."
"i think its amnesia.dnt let him stress over his lost memory.it might cause permanent damage in his brain n ya bring him to the hospital 4 thorough check up."
"thank u doctor."
i cant explain how much relieved i was when the doctor said he was fine.i wldnt hav been able 2 4give myself if sth had happened to him.i took a blanket nd covered him nd went outside 2 see off the doctor.
Wen i was abt to enter my house my eyes fell on sth near the burnt tree-the spot where the car crashed down.i approached the place nd saw dat it was a driving liscence.i scanned it 2 find a clue abt him bt nth was visible as it was completely burnt.den i noticed his signature.it was nt so clear bt i cld see his name.
"maan"
i pronounced his name.dat name suited him n i liked it.nice name i thought.bt i cldnt decide whether i sld tel him or nt as doctor had warned me nt 2 let him stress over his past.my thoughts were disturbed wen i heard a sound frm his room.i rushed 2wards his room to find him struggling to grab the glass dat was rolling down the floor.
"r u thirsty?u sld av called me."
i filled a glass of water nd passed it to him which he gulped down in one shot.
"maan,how r u feeling now?"
he looked up at me wid questioning eyes wen i called him by his name.
"wat did u call me?"
