Part 21

Back to our beloved MAANEET...

The next morning at both the places simultaneously...

Both opened their eyes, and with a sweet and peaceful smile on their faces, welcomed the new day... But with it, also came a realisation of what will happen today...

Maan to Geet ke pyaar me lazy hota jaa raha hai... No exercise, nothing... Just lazing in the bed, dreaming about the previous evening...

Maan was happy with the new day, with a new anticipation to meet her... But Geet was getting tensed as the time of meeting him again was nearing... Maan got his things done early, ate his breakfast in a hurry and headed to office with new zeal like a small kid who is happy to go to school (if any such kid exists who loves to go to school 😆 😉 😛 🤣)... DJ saw Maan's behaviour and decided something in her mind and did not react to Maan's act... Annie didn't react because she thought he has some early morning meeting to attend, that is why this hurry...

Here, at Geet's place, she was taking her own time getting ready and also thinking what is to be done... She came at the breakfast table and greeted RH n Rano, a good morning...

Geet- good morning mom and dad...

Both- good morning beta...

Breakfast was served... Garam garam Poha(it's a Maharashtrian dish) and Geet's favourite, early morning tea...

After eating Poha, she picked up her cup and sipped her Tea, and the very next moment, she made the weirdest expression ever... She even puked some part of the tea in the mug again(ewww🤢)...

Rano saw this and scolded her...

Rano- Geet, yeh kya kar rahi ho tum?? Thik se piyo...

Geet- Mom, yeh hai kya??? Itni kharab taste...

Rano- tumhari tabiyat to thik hai na... Yeh tumhari roz ki much-needed chai hai...aur uski taste tumhe kharab lag rahi hai... Ranjit, zaraa iss ladki ko to dekho kya bol rahi hai...

RH, looking at Geet from his newspaper- Geet, tum thik to ho naa... Aaj kal tumhe jo pasand nahi tha vo pasand aane laga hai, aur jo pasand hai usse kharab bol rahi ho...

Geet got confused with her own behaviour... How in the world is it possible that she forgets the taste of her favourite maa-ke-haat-ki-special-chai... Uff,now everything is pissing her off... Already tension Kum hai kya, jo abb aisa kuch ho raha hai...

RH- Geet, accident ke baad se tumhari kaafi taste badal gayi hai... Me puch sakta hu aisa kyu ho raha hai???

The mention of the accident reminded her of everything and she got everything what is happening... She didn't say much... She just got up from there and left to her room... She was feeling odd...

Geet, self talk- ab ye mujhe kya ho raha hai... Memories tak to thik tha, ab to meri taste bhi change ho gayi hai... Ab to office hi jaake pata chal sakta hai mujhe jo kuch bhi hai...

Down, at the breakfast table, RH was confused with Geet's behaviour... She has never left the table so abruptly before and never before answering RH... Rano said, looking at Rh's expression...

Rano- Ranjit, tumhe accident ki baat nahi karni chahiye thi... Vo uss baat ko leke bohot tensed ho jaati hai, pata nahi kyu... Do din jab tum yaha nahi the, tabi bhi vo bohot khoyi khoyi reheti thi, pata nahi kyu... Mene puchne ki koshish bhi ki thi, par usne kuch nahi kaha... Mujhe laga shayad khud hi baadme bata degi, isiliye mene force nahi kiya usse...

RH- Tumhe lagta hai ki me usse baat karu????

Rano- Ranjit, mujhe lagta hai ki hume ab unke problems me nahi padna chahiye... Me jaanti hu ye sahi nahi hai, but humari dono betiya badi ho gayi hai... Pinky to fir bhi choti hai, usse pucha jaa sakta hai, usse help kar sakte hai... But Geet ab badi ho gayi hai... Ab hume uske baareme zyaada nahi sochna chahiye... Vo apne decisions khud le sakti hai... Jab usse lage ki usse hume puchna hai yaa batana hai tab vo khud hi aake bataaegi... Tab hum uski definitely madad karenge, yaa uske decision me uska saath denge, jaise hum abb tak karte aaye hai... Par ab usse kuch batane ke liye force nahi karna chahiye... Kahi aisa naa lage ki hum trust nahi karte uspe yaa uske decisions pe... Aur humari beti kabhi galat decision nahi legi... Aaj tak usne asia kuch nahi kiya hai jisse hume hurt ho... Vo humse bohot pyaar karti hai, so kuch bhi karne se pehele humare baareme zaroor sochti hai, fir hi uss baat ko aage leke jaati hai... Isiliye hum apni bhi kuch cheezo pe uspe rely karte hai... Yehi trust hume uss pe rakhna hoga... Aur agar kuch galta kar bhi diya to hum hai uske liye hamseha, hai na???

Rano had come and stood besides RH now... Ranjit snaked his arms around Rano's waist and pulled her closer... and said very lovingly,

RH- Haa, bilkul hai Rano... Tum itne pyaar se kaise samjha leti ho mujhe hamesha... Shayad isipe me tumpe fida hu, aaj tak... Aur rahi baat Geet ki, to uspe mujhe pehele se hi kaafi trust hai... Mujhe meri beti pe bohot vishwaas hai... Vo kabhi koi galat kadam nahi uthayegi... Aur aisa hua bhi to hum humesha uske saath rahenge...

Rano smiled at her sweet husband... Kon kahega, itna bada surgeon, jisse log itna respect karte hai, vo itni romantic baate bhi kar sakta hai... No wonder, Geet itni romantic hai...

Here, Geet got ready as soon as she could... She got down, still limping... RH and Rano both saw her coming down... They decided to react as if nothing happened and no one asked anything...

RH- aare Geet, tum to badi jaldi tayyar ho gayi... Chalo me tumhe chod deta hu...

Geet- Nahi Dad, its ok... Office waalo ne mere liye car arrange ki hai... Me aapse sham ko milti hu... aur late ho gayi to plzzz tension mat lena... Me aapko call yaa message kar dungi...

RH- ek minute Geet... He stoped her...

Geet, turning back- Haa Dad...

RH- Geet tumhe bura laga kya mene aisa pucha to??? Sorry agar aisa hai to...

Geet, she felt bad about her own behaviour, which made her Dad apologise to her...

Geet- Dad, plzz aap sorry mat bolo... Aapki kya galati hai... Actually mujhe khud kuch nahi pata hai, to me aapko kya batau mere saath kya ho raha hai... Kuch kuch pata chal raha hai dheere dheere... Jaise sab kuch clear ho jaaega mere liye, to me aapko bataungi hi... Aaapko pata hai na me aapse kuch nahi chupati...

RH was relieved to hear assuring words from her... How much ever they decide that they will not interfere in her life, but being caring parents, even a small wrinkle on her forehead makes them tense... If she herself is not sure, then what will she tell them... Atleast she told this much that she will tell them... This assurance is more than enough for them to be calm... Ab vo kabhi bhi aake unhe bataye, they wont mind...

RH- koi baat nahi beta, tumne itna batay ki kuch hai, aur tum hume bataogi, itna hi kaafi hai humaare liye... Tum jab chaho, humse baat kar sakti ho... We are always with you in whatever you do or whatever happens...

Geet was relieved that her parents will never leave her side... So she was quite happy... She hugged both of them and said,

Geet- love you both... You are the best parents, any one can ever get... I m so lucky to have you both...

RH- we too beta... Tum ho to hum hai... We complement each other... Love u too beta...

Rano- come soon dear... aur apna khayal rakhna...

Geet- ji mom, bbyee dad, bye mom... Love u...

She flying kissed both of them and left... The car was waiting outside... She got in and reached KC... She breathes a deep breath and enters the premises... She is still not sure, how is she going to face Maan... But she has to...

Here, in Maan's cabin... He was getting restless... He wanted to badly see Geet... Where is she??? Abhi tak aayi kyu nahi ye??? Kahi leg me firse pain to nahi ho gayi??? Kya bol raha hai Maan, shub shub bol... Usse kuch nahi hua hai... Aur aisa kuch hota to vo mujhe pakka call karti, jaise usne pehele kiya tha... Kuch nahi, aati hi hogi... Patience Maan, Patience, he was consoling himself...

Suddenly, his cabin door opened... N there stood his sweet angel... He saw her entering his cabin... He was lost in her simplicity... She had worn nothing jazzy that would have attracted him, neither was anything revealing... It was just a knee length office wear grey colour skrit and a crisply ironed maroon colour formal shirt, and a simple hairstyle, loosely tied hair... Her clothes were a perfect fit to her, showing her perfect curves...

He never liked revealing clothes that girls wear... He doesn't object because it's everyone's individual choice to wear such clothes... He always liked simple things, natural beauty attracted him always... That is why, even if being a hot hunk, and amidst a group of sexy girls, he never ever looked at them... And that was the reason of his attraction towards Geet... She was an epitome of simplicity yet elegance... She knew well how to carry her that will make guys go gaga over her, unknowing to herself... Maan was staring at her continuously without even blinking as is capturing her full form in his heart...

Geet saw him staring at her... She too got lost in his deep dark gaze... Geet had an attraction for eyes... Whenever she has looked at any guy with slight interest, which was very rare, she has always tried to look into the guys' eyes... That pair of a human's body never gives you a flase impression of the person... Whatever the person is, you will come to know looking into his eyes... We can say that eyes were a part of a person that always turned her on... Geet was able to see some glint of love for her... She was happy that he feels the same for her as she does... As she already knows many things about his life, she could also see some loneliness, and craving for love...

Both were walking towards each other while sharing a deep eyelock... But Geet's stick came in her way and she was about to fall... But would Maan let her fall... Heimmediately caught her in his strong arms... both again in the same position as thay had started... Both lost in each other... Some of Geet's hairstrands fell on her face and irritating her... Maan could see the irritation in her eyes... He simply raised his hand and very slowly, taking his time, slid the strands behind her ears... He took it slow to feel the cold skin of her face, which was turning hot with his touch... A slight blush appeared on her face... She forgot everything... She forgot what she came here for, what inhibitions she had in her mind the whole last night...His one intense look, and all her stress vanished, like it was afraid of MSK... A cool breeze flew in his cabin through the window... It added more colour to their new found love... Both smiled looking at each other... Then they both simultaneously remembered their first fall and catch moment, and the smile turned into laughter... They both straightened... Both were still laughing... All their insecurities of how to face each other just vanished and flew away with that cool breeze...

Maan- ab kaisi ho Geet??? Leg me dard to nahi hai na??? Aur aane me itni der kaise ho gayi?? Car time pe aayi thi na??? (Lo, Maan ko ek breathe me bolne ki aadat lag gayi 😆 🤣)

Geet- aare, aare, zaraa apne sawalonko break lagao Maan... Itne saare sawal ek hi saans me... Mujhe laga sirf mere hi parivaar ko aadat hai ek saans me baat karne ki... But I was wrong...

Maan- vo sab chodo aur mere sawalonke jawab do...

Geet- ok, ok... Me ab bilkul thik hu.. Leg me pain nahi hai... Aur der kaha hui hai Maan... Abhi to 9 baj rahe hai... Car bhi time pe aa gayi thi... Lagta hai aaj tumhi jaldi aa gaye...

After seeing the clock, Maan realised that he had left home early...

Maan- acha thik hai... Coffee piyogi yaa chai???

Mention of coffee or tea reminded her of the morning incident... So, now he will drink his favourite beverage... This was a chance to taste what he drank, she thought...

Geet- Jo tum loge, vahi mere liye bhi mangva lo...

Maan- Geet mein black coffee peeta hu, tumhe pasand nahi aayegi...

Geet- Maan, aisa kuch nahi hoga... Aura chi nahi bhi lagi to nahi piyungi... But try karne me kya jaata hai...

Maan – soch lo...

Geet- soch liya... She smiles and waits for her coffee...
