Sitting in the balcony, she kept thinking about her life. Things have taken drastic turn since her brothers demise. How she wished everything to get back to normal, where her life was full of love, happiness, light, beauty and dreams. But now, all she is left with are...darkness, lies, deciet, hatred, abhorrance and nightmares...!!

This was not how she had expected her life to be few months back. But as fate had it, she is forced to live this hellish life, where she is burning in the fire of revenge and now, self loath...!!

Yes, she despise herself more than anything in the world. She is not worthy to be called a sister. She has betrayed her own brother, broken his trust ruthlessly just for the sake of sinfull pleasure. How could she...??

The guilt that has crept in her veins is now torturing her mercilessly, killing her from within. She has let down herself in front of her brother, her own self and the whole humanity.

Her mind was still revolving around the incidents that took place after that fatefull night. It has been more than a week, but she can't bring herself to accept that she has actually fallen for that beast, that murderer...!!

Yes, after the intimacy they shared that night, she started feeling a ray of hope that may be...may be things are not what they seemed, may be don is not really what he shows and may be the truth about her brother's death is something else. All she wanted him to be not the responsible of her brother's death, may be she had still given him a chance. But now, when everything is clear in front of her eyes, she can't bring herself to face the reality.

The harsh reality of her life...her love for her brother's murderer...!!

A lone tear rolled down from her eyes as the thought enter her mind. What has she done...??...she has ruined everything...!!

She covered her face with her palms and cried incessantly...I have destroyed everything. I have committed an unforgivable sin...!!...she cried very bitterly cursing herself, cursing her fate...cursing her heart to fall for don...!!

Don...the very name filled her senses...her whole being with utter bitterness and abhorrance. His words rang in her ears...

I hate disloyalty and moreover when it comes from a police officer...!!...the hatred in his eyes was still fresh in her mind and the meaning of his words send chills down her spine. She still can feel all those words she heard afterwards...

FLASHBACK...

After the lifeless body was dragged away from there, don left without even glancing at geet. Geet felt the creepy sensation ran through her veins as he passed from her side. Narang too left behind don to talk to him. Only sameera and geet were left in the room.

Sam was about to leave after them, but stopped and move to face geet...

I guess this is warning enough for you, geet...!!...sam said with a haughty look on her face.

Geet was already feeling miserable after the turn of events and thought to simply avoid her. But sam held her hand and scoffed...

What do you think, huh...??...Just by seducing don, you'll aquire a special place in his life...she gave her a disgusting look and added...well then let me inform you that s**ts like you can only get a one night stand from him and will pass from his life without even being noticed, while I am and will be his partner forever...!!

Geet though didn't wanted to give her any importance, yet couldn't hold back from answering her...

Waise toh I don't need to answer you, but still listen...geet said non-chalantly...I am hardly interested in your don, so you can have him by all means. And as far as s**ts are concerned then I think they are much better than you for they get their payment for just a single night and you, who serve him every night is still nothing more than a cheap keep for him...!!

Sam felt utterly humiliated at her comment and raised her hand to slap geet, but geet caught her hand and twisted it harshly behind her back making her wince in pain...

Don't...geet warned angrily...don't you dare think I am any another chick who'll get afraid of a s**t like you...geet held her hand tightly and added...I am here just todo my work, soyou better stay away from me bcoz if you crossed my way it won't be good for you...and pushed her forward, storming out of the room.

Sam rubbed her wrist to sooth the effect of geet's painfull grip and thought aloud...you have messed with the wrong person geet and you'll pay for this with your life...!!

Geet walked towards the hall to talk to don. She wanted to take a day off to think over the current matters. It was eating her up and wanted to clear her mind. As she stepped near the door, she found it partially open and some conversation could be heard. She looked around to make sure no one was there and leaned forward to see and hear clearly...

Don, you know how important he was, then why did you killed him...??...geet heared narang arguing with don, who looked quite irritated and answered...everyone is important narang, but still everyone has to die someday and his time was here...!!

Don't talk rubbish...!!

I never talk rubbish...don spat and then added...he was a police informer and it was he only, who helped adi in trapping chief...!!

Geet froze hearing her brother's name from his mouth. Something was urging her to go away from there as the conversation may bring out some ugly truth, which she is still not ready to face, yet she remain fixed on her spot and listened...

What...??...you mean the second guy with adi was sunil...??...narang asked stunned at relevation while done continued...

Yes, it was him. And he has also been constantly leaking information to the head quaters about our meetings and deals...don made a grave face and said...he was a threat and so I has to kill him...!!

You did the right thing don...narang said after listening to him...after all due to adi we had suffered great loss and with sunil around we could have landed in great dangers. But, I am happy that you found out...first that adi and then sunil, you finished them both...narang patted his back.

Don's face was dangerously serious when he replied narang and said...yes, I finished both of them...!!

FLASHBACK ENDS...

Countless tears made their way down geet's cheek as she recalled his words. Those words which cleared all her doubts about don murdering her brother. Suddenly, geet turned aggressive and wiping her tears roughly, she said aloud...

NO...!!...He is the culprit...he is the sinner...the evil shadow that has engulfed all my happiness, all my dreams, my life...my brother...!!

I'll not leave him...I'll kill him...I'll...I'll finish off his existance from this world...she screamed madly shaking in anger and pain.

Don was in his cabin thinking over the time he spent with geet in the stable. Their intimacy was still disturbing him. Somewhere a dangerous storm was creating a havoc within him. He was in a pensive mood, when sam entered his room and encircled her arms around his neck saying...

Hey love, lets go out somewhere today...she tried in her as usual seductive tone. Don got up and brushed off her hands calmly this time...

Not today sam, I want sometime alone...please...!!

Sam frowned hearing this tone from don, but then shrugged it off thinking he is actually tired, which he seldom gets. But then thought to divert his mind off his tension and said...

Come on don, I never knew you could also get tired...THE DON, who never feels tired even after a vigorous tussel with the cops or any rival gang...she chuckled

Don looked at her for sometime and then replied...I am not tired, I just want sometime alone. Now leave...his voice was low yet firm.

Looking at his demeanor, sam thought it wise to leave and moved out. But both didn't notice that someone was watching them from hiding behind the pillar. Don took his car keys and cell phone and moved out of the room. The person who was hiding behind the pillar came out and quietly followed him.

He sat in his car and drove off in a fast pace such that not even his bodyguards got time to follow him. Only the person following him was able to keep his track and followed him secretly.

Don pulled over his car near a disc and got inside. There was special mask theme going in so one of the waiter was offering masks to the people. Don too was given a mask, but as he was not dancing, he just kept it by his side.

It was very much crowded and a bit dark too. The person silently went inside behind him making sure not to alert him of its presence. A mask was offered to her too and she quickly wore it to hide her identity more conveniently.

Don saw the mad crowd dancing infront of as if there is no complications in their lives, totally carefree. He chuckled at the word...carefree, how weird as well as alien it seemed...!!

He ordered a mild drink and had taken just a few sips when a very sexy girl in mask approached him for a dance. He was not at all interested in dancing with her, but then something caught his sight far behind the girl. He simply pretended to be oblivious of what he saw and consented the girl for the dance. They moved towards the dance floor and started grooving with the music, when the girl who was following don too joined the dance floor with a random guy.

They danced for sometime when both came close to each other while dancing with their respective partners. Suddenly the music changed and the dj asked the couples to swap partners.

Don took the chance and suddenly grabbed the girl, who was hiding herself from him behind the mask, taking her by complete surprise.

He very swiftly twirled her and brought her near him almost dashing her into his chest. They both came face to face with the mask acting as the barrier,but their eyes could clearly see each other's intensity...!!

He started matching steps to the music and beats taking along the girl. She was completely perplexed by his sudden act, but not wanting to make him suspicious continued dancing with him.

He turned her around him in perfect circles holding her hand with his soft yet firm grip and with such passion that the onlookers for a moment forget their own dancing and started watching them.

She tried to read his eyes, his thought process, but as usual failed in front of his mysterious eyes. But this time there was one thing for sure which she noticed in his deep passionate eyes...there was loneliness and pain...extreme pain...!!

She was shocked to see that extreme emotion in his eyes. Was it really there...??...or was it just a figment of her imagination...??

Suddenly she felt a great urge inside her to caress him, touch him, feel him, sooth him and love him...!!

Don, however was lost in the moment trying to ease his burning heart...his loneliness...!!...He looked into her eyes and felt the lyrics pouring out his heart felt feelings in front of her...!!

He twirled her around and brought her back colliding it with his chest. She felt her whole body burning with his touch, her innermost feelings which she wanted to burry deep down were treacherously coming out, showing its effect...!!

Don on the other hand felt alive, like her mere touch was giving him a new energy. Their breath hightened with their closeness and ultimately made the other almost breathless...!!

He forced her away from him and brought her back again grooving on the music and his heart beat. The girl too lost herself in him and matched each stepwith him thrilling the dance floor.

They forgot everything for a second and became totally oblivious to their surrounding, their outer world and to their own identity.

He traced her slender arms with his palms and created a havoc with her being. She was his eternal thirst...his very life...!!...yet she was his DOOM...for whom he was willing to get devastated...!!

He just wanted to live in this moment forgetting every single thing in this world. Having her in his arms, he felt like he got the whole world. Nothing else matters to him.

She came out of her trance with the loud round of applause and looked around to see the crowd cheering for them. She looked ahead and found don very close to her...so close that she could feel his breath falling on her face.

Suddenly getting startled she moved back removing his hands from her waist, which he was very softly yet firmly holding. The crowd started gathering on the dance floor and taking its advantage, she pushed him a bit and rushed out. Don tried to follow her, but was unsuccessful due to the extreme crowd.

Finally somehow he reached the exit and sighed not finding her around.

Geet quickly rushed out and hide herself in the parking lot. She removed the mask from her face and threw it away rubbing her with her palms. This was not what she wanted, her getting lost in him,but yet again she couldn't control those sinful feelings to surface.

Nevertheless, she is going to end all this today. Everything will get back to normal once she is done with what she has decided. She stayed there and waited for don to come and fall in her trap.

Here don was highly disappointed on not finding her there and suddenly thought may be he was imagining as his mind and heart are totally out of control now a days. Suddenly he felt all the more lonely in that crowd and moved out and went towards the parking lot unknown about the hidden danger...!!

He went inside the parking area, which was a bit deserted and dark. He spotted his car and was about to move that way when he heard some steps behind him like someone has walked right behind him. He froze in his steps knowing who it could be and was ready to face the worse. Very slowly he turned around and found the very person in front of his eyes whom he was expecting and smiled a little thinking about the dance he shared with her was no imagination, but the most beautiful reality. Right in front of him was his geet...his love...his life...and...his DOOM...!!

She stood in front of him with her head held high and her grip on her gun tight, which she was pointing at him. There was mixture of emotions in her eyes, which were making her condition miserable. She didn't knew why, even after knowing the dark truth of her brother's murder, she was feeling terrible in raising the gun against him. The thought of killing him was killing her within.

But she controlled herself for the sake of her brother and strengthened the grip on the gun and looked at him with a piercing gaze...

What happened don...??...shocked to see me here like this...??...she mocked him, but don stayed there still without any reaction. He was complete blank.

What did you thought, huh...??...you'll kill my brother and enjoy your life blissfully...??...she asked harshly letting out her anger and frustration on him...you must be thinking that who is my brother of whose death I am blaming you, then listen...she paused and looked at him for any reaction, but got none and so she continued...ADITYA HANDA, yes I am aditya handa's sister...GEET HANDA...and I am here to punish you for your sins...!!

She wanted to see fear if not then atleast any other expression, but his face was expressionless as of any dead man. Her resolve was weakening slowly while the grip was also losening. She didn't know why, but she didn't wanted to do this.

Don just silently pateintly stood there waiting for her to shoot.

So, be ready to die...DON...saying so she put her finger on the trigger, but her hand was shaking...her love for him was overpowering her feeling for revenge. She was hating this feeling...she was so helpless. The moment for which she has waited for so many days has finally come, but she was letting it slip from her hands just like that.

Just to prove herself and encourage her own self to shoot him, she shouted and screamed at him...hurling every accuse on him...

You are a murderer, a criminal and you deserve to die. I hate you...I HATE YOU...her screams turned to cry and her eyes started to get wet as tears started flowing from her eyes.

Defeated by her own feelings she stood there with the gun in her hand pointed at him, but her head lowered and started crying bitterly.

Suddenly, she felt some movement and looked in his direction. He too seemed alerted and then what she saw simply shocked her. Don raised his gun and aimed it at her and next moment she too held the gun firmly as a reflux and the next moment few shots were fired from don's gun and one from geet's, the sound of which thrilled the whole area and both froze at their spot looking at each other...!!

so the secret is here with a cliff hanger n I am running as u all must be after me to kill me as well😆...I am sorry to stop here but the updt has already got lengthen and I have some work to finish😳...next part will reveals don's side of story...n to some extent the main story...!!

Hey Anu,

Geet is in the phase of self-hatred due to what conspired between her & Don & her feelings toward him while she believes him to be a worst kind of criminal.

FB was interesting. Loved it when Geet threw her words back on Sam & twisting the wrist was icing on the cake. 😈

Whenever, Adi's death is mentioned, Don's expression turn cryptic so my doubts are still there regarding Don being some nation defender.

Don is trying to get rid of the tender moments with Geet but it's not that easy to rid off the sweet yet strong girl like her.

Don knew the girl from start & he decided to get condemned by her only because she is everything for him.

Don did not get the chance to talk to Geet but then he was expecting her to be there & when she came, his rare smile was there.

Geet was shaking because of her emotional state but Don was keeping his turmoil inside with that blank look.

Well I guess, it's Sam who is after Geet to kill her for the insult Geet imparted on her. I believe that Don't bullets found their target/s but did Geet's bullet also did the same or it went amiss?
