Why does everyone have the tendency to pretend even though we are well aware that anyone will look through it?

First Encounter = Last?

I was stumped a little at that and then, I assumed that they weren't going to meet anytime soon. But when I discovered that the two of them were neighbours, I was very delighted (unlike Riddhima). The extents to which Riddhima has gone to conceal herself from her beloved neighbour had me in fits. She really doesn't care what others think, does she? (i.e. as long as she is able to stay away from him)

To her horror, however, she had to be discovered.🤣

Oh, Armaan's reaction when he finally recognised Riddhima and caught hold of her is something of an oddity. The fact that he'd been searching for her implies something, doesn't it?😉
