Arnav had again skipped dinner. He contacted a private detective to check on Khushi's fianc. He wanted to know everything about him and he was going to pay any amount but he needed this information by tomorrow evening. He also insisted that no one should know about this.

Arnav left for work early morning. He waited whole day just to talk to the private detective and he really hoped that everything was going to be fine. She deserved someone really nice and sweet. He called his sister to tell her that he will be late so they all should have dinner and sleep. He saw Mr. Anwar Shah, private detective enter his office. He had never been so scared and was hoping that he has no bad news. Why will there be anything bad? She is sweetest person he has met and how can anything bad happen to her. Wasn't that how it should be for all people who believe in that "GOD". He greeted Mr.Shah and told his secretary not to disturb him.

Arnav: Were you able to complete the task?

Anwar: I have but I am afraid you will not like what I found out.

Arnav: Cut the crap, just tell me the facts and then we will decide whether I like it or not.

Anwar took out picture of Shyam and told Arnav that this is the guy who is forcing Khushi's family to get her married to him. Hearing all this he was shocked and his worst nightmares were becoming true, his perfect world was falling apart.

Arnav: What rubbish and what do you mean by he is forcing Khushi's family. It should be Khushi forcing him to get back at me.

Anwar: I personally authenticated this information and that is why I got late. I know that Mr. Shyam is your brother-in-law. I have the following proofs for my finding.

He had enough proofs to convince Arnav that he was cheating on his sister. How dare he? What will he tell his sister?

Arnav: Find more information on ji…Shyam. Also what is the reason behind his actions?

Anwar: I will recommend sending this package to Miss.Gupta's house as this will be enough to break her engagement and wedding. I am leaving it here and hope you make good use of it. I will need 2-3 days to get all information on Mr.Shyam.

Anwar walked out. Arnav din't know what to do to stop from his world falling apart. His sister is the most devoted wife, god fearing and positive person then how can this happen to her? How can someone cheat on someone as nave and sweet as Khushi? But then again Khushi is to be blamed. If ASR could fall for her it was easy for any guy to fall for her. It was all her fault. Why does she need to be this sweet, adorable, cute.. why can't she be normal like everyone else. He was going to stop her from ruining his sister's life. He called her and asked her to meet him outside her home. He will be there in 20 minutes. She did not want to meet him but he insisted and gave her a choice, either she comes out by her own or he will drag her out himself. Khushi could sense old ASR in his voice and she knew that he was capable of doing anything when he was this angry and not thinking.

Khushi entered his car. Arnav drove like crazy and went and parked his car in a park's parking lot. He handed her the package. Khushi was shocked to see what was in the package.

Khushi: Is this another of your devious act to ruin my life. Shyamji is a nice man and he has been staying as paying guest for months.

She suddenly remembered in hospital her babuji wanted to say something about Shyam. Why would her babuji want her to marry him if he knew? He never said that he wanted to marry her. It was her bua who was forcing this wedding on her.

Arnav: What the hell are you thinking?

Khushi: I guess my babuji found out about him and that is why he is..

Arnav looked at her with complete shock. His jijaji maybe was a womanizer but a killer that was hard to believe.

Khushi: Babuji was home alone when he got heart attack but some people have told me that Shyamji had followed him inside. We were all so devastated that I never followed up on that information. Everything was so bizarre past few days I should have figured out that something was wrong. How could he do this to Anjaliji? She is the sweetest person I have met in my life. Naniji, Aakash sir, mamaji and even mamiji are so nice. Why will he do this to your family?

In the middle of all this pandemonium he did notice that she didn't think that he was nice. She named everyone except him. Khushi kept on blabbering and Arnav was not able to think what they should do.

Arnav: It's all your fault.

Khushi: Ofcourse Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada it's my fault. It is all my fault that the man I am supposed to get married may have actually tried to kill my father. It is of course my fault that my life is ruined because after this wedding breaks no will marry me. Of course it is all my fault …

Arnav: (Screamed) Shutup! I cannot tell my Di and break her heart.

Khushi: You have to. How can you see her spend her life with a man who is cheating on her. How do you know that I am the only person he is cheating for and he doesn't have or had anyone else.

Arnav did not want to hear this because this is what even he was thinking. What is the guarantee that this is his first time?

Arnav: Just Shutup! For now just do as you are told. Take this package and show your family members. He seems to be a very cunning person so it would be safe if you guys pretended tomm as if nothing happened and I will arrange something tomorrow for you all.

Khushi: Thanks but no thanks. I don't want any favor from you anymore. I can take care of his family.

Arnav: Can't you really understand how cunning he is. Even I could not figure him out and what if he does something really bad to yo … (He took a deep breadth). Don't risk your family's life. I will arrange something by tomorrow. I promise you that after tomm you will never see me. You and your family will leave this place for good to someplace where you can forget all this happened.

Khushi looked at him stunned, "forget all this… this is so easy for you to say. You are the might ASR but I am merely a simple girl." Arnav did not say anything. He knew that neither of them will ever get over all this.

Arnav dropped her home. Khushi first closed the doors and gathered everyone in bedroom. She closed all windows and ensured that Shyam was not at home. Arnav had confirmed that he will be RM tonight. She showed them all the package and she asked her father to nod his head if Shyam tried to kill him. He nodded vehemently and tears rolled down his eyes. Garima was shattered and could not believe that due to buaji she was going to destroy her daughter's life. She looked at Buaji and said,

Garima: Jiji if it was not for you we all would have been happy and fine. Why did you take Shyam as a paying guest knowing that you were living with two young daughter's. I will never be able to forgive you for forcing us to get Khushi married to this guy and for my husband's state. I understand that you were trying to help but this time you went too far in forcing your believes on us. We all will be leaving tomorrow but you will have to go somewhere else. I cannot let my daughter's or husband live with you. Who knows what you will make us do next time.

Buaji was stunned and could not believe what she saw but proof was rock solid and not leaving any room for interpretations. She did not say anything to Garima just wished that she had been a little more careful. She was the reason why her brother was in that state and she could not forgive herself for that.

Arnav could not think of a way how to tell hid Di what the truth is. He had no idea how to handle this situation. He had to take care of all this very carefully and with as much less publicity as possible. He knew his sister will not be able to handle too much public scrutiny. With his and Lav wedding discussion there will be too much media attention on them. He had to stop this by calling off his wedding and Lav leaving RM.

Next day morning Arnav went to Lav's room and confided to her that he does not love her and it is in her best interest to split. She was part of his artificial world and he does not feel anything for her. She is a nice person and deserved much better.

Lav: Are you dumping me for Khushi? If yes, then I'll know that you are choosing the right partner but did you wait so long to tell me.

Arnav: No. I am not dumping you for anyone. Khushi doesn't mean anything to me (his voice chocked).

Lav: You can pretend but can't fool yourself. I will leave right now and I am leaving for London. Can you please give me Khushi's phone number?

Hearing Lav say London, it struck him that he can send Khushi's family to London with La.

Arnav: Can you help me with something?

Lav: After this you expect me to HELP? But what is it about?

Arnav: You have to promise me that you will not tell this to anyone.

He knew he can trust her. He told her everything.

Lav: I am sorry ASR. I am also very sorry for Chamkeli. She is such a nice girl. And Di, she will be devastated. Now I understand why you doing this. You are a tough man.

Arnav: I will arrange for everything but can you take Khushi's family with you in London. Open a boutique for Khushi in London and I will pay for all the cost. Don't tell this to Khushi and just tell her that you are doing this for her. I remember she once told me that they had made passport because they wanted to visit Srilanka. I will arrange UK visa today. It may be difficult but I have enough hold inside to get this done today.

Lav: Sure I will and you still want to tell me that you don't love Khushi.

Arnav: Shutup(at the top of his voice). Stop saying that please (he said softly)

Arnav and Lav informed everyone in RM that they are calling off their wedding and La is returning to London tonight. Everyone was devastated but ASR left before anyone could question him anything. He went straight to Khushi's place to collect passports.

Shyam called Khushi told him that they all are going out and it will be better if he comes tomorrow since they need to do some preparations. Shyam believed her because there was no reason not to believe her.

Complete day went preparing and packing. They were all ready to go where ASR was going to send them. Someone knocked on door and Khushi opened the door. She was wearing a simple white salwaar kameez, not the usual one with pom-poms and bling. She had her hair tied in a bun(like Aish has it tied in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam red saree) and was looking beautiful. Arnav and La entered.

Arnav: I have arranged for your UK visa's. I have also booked your flight tickets and Lav will be accompanying you guys. She is going back to London for good. We called off our wedding.

Khushi: KYA?

Lav: It made sense. Also at this time it is best to not do anything that will call for media attention. Let's leave we are getting late.

They reached airport.

Garima: We cannot thank you enough Arnav beta for what you are doing. I can just wish, pray and hope that your family can also get over this bad phase. I hope that your sister finds all the happiness she deserves. I will pray that you find peace and happiness.

Arnav: Don't thank me for any of this. I know everything is happening very fast but it will be fine. La is in London so it will not be difficult to adjust.

La: Will miss you ASR.

Arnav smiled and hugged her. He looked at Khushi hoping she would say something. Everyone started walking towards airport terminal entry except Khushi and Arnav.

Khushi: If possible, forgive me for everything. I have not done any of this knowingly but nonetheless I know you think that I am the reason for your families' miseries. I will pray that I get Anjaliji's and your families' share of sorrow and you guys get all the happiness in life. Thanks for all this. We may never meet again in life so I want to…. What I was dreaming was wrong and what I am feeling is wrong. I cannot stop myself from feeling something but I promise you I will never bother you. I have never expected anything from you and neither will I ever expect anything from you. I understand the difference in status between us and that ….

Khushi could not talk any more. She had tears in her eyes.

Arnav: Go (took a deep sigh)

As he saw her going out of his sight everything in front of him blurred, he was breathing heavily. He turned back and started walking towards his car as fast as he can because he was not sure how long his knees will be able to hold his weight. He sat in his car and could feel darkness engulfing his life. He closed his eyes and thought to himself, so this is where it ends, this is it.

NOTE: UK visa in one day is a blopper. I hope you guys can overlook that.
